”Three new Skills… This is as expected.”

Looking at his updated status on the parchment, it wasn’t surprising to Charlie.

The Skills obtained by adventurers are generally related to their own adventures. In the original work, the protagonist obtained the Ox Slayer Skill because of his inseparable bond with the Minotaur.

And Charlie had killed the Evil Dragon Fafnir from the Type-Moon Universe, summoned by the Abyssal Devourer. So, it wasn’t surprising that he obtained Skills related to dragons.

Unexpected, but also logical.

”Dragon Slayer Skill comes from the achievement of defeating Fafnir, Armor of Fafnir Skill from bathing in dragon blood, and Crystallized Wisdom Skill from eating the dragon’s heart.”

Charlie easily analyzed the origins of the three Skills.

”What does Rank B attack and magic mean?” Aishia asked curiously, pointing at Armor of Fafnir Skill with her finger.

”This… I guess the concept of the Armor of Fafnir Skill follows the parameter rules in Type-Moon.” Charlie speculated.

”So, that means if an opponent wants to injure Charlie, the other party must have the power of a Servant who has Rank A physical attack or magic.”

”Hmmm… If the Armor of Fafnir Skill is similar to Siegfried’s, it’s most likely so. Even Rank B Noble Phantasms from Heroic Spirits like Gáe Bolg, Fragarach, Clarent, Caliburn, Blasted Tree, and so on, wouldn’t be able to injure me!”

Thinking about Aishia’s analysis, Charlie felt excited.

Unlike the Danmachi world where the gods waited for the emergence of heroes to end the One Eyed Black Dragon, while future generations could only remember and admire the achievements of past heroes, the Type-Moon world had countless heroes in human history, and they became Heroic Spirits on the Throne of Heroes after their deaths.

Among the Heroic Spirits, whose number is like the stars in the sky, those who have Rank A Noble Phantasms number less than 150 individuals!

”With Armor of Fafnir, I wonder if the only Level 7 adventurer in Orario, Ottar alias King from Freya Familia, could injure me now.”

”Charlie, being too confident will only lead you to failure, and hesitation will make you lose…”

”Huft… I know. Thanks for reminding me, Aishia.”

Hearing Aishia’s timely advice, Charlie calmed down the arrogance that was surging in his heart.

”Um, I’ll always be by your side so you don’t fall into decline.” Aishia said, staring at him without blinking.

”Yeah, we’ll always be together.”

After that, Charlie paid attention to Crystallized Wisdom Skill.

”The ability to speak with animals? Compared to Dragon Slayer Skill, which makes me the antithesis of the dragon species, and Armor of Fafnir Skill, which gives me super defense, Crystallized Wisdom Skill seems ordinary.”

That was his honest opinion of Crystallized Wisdom Skill. Charlie felt a little disappointed to only get the ability to speak with animals after eating the dragon’s heart.

”Sigurd is from the Norse Volsung Saga, while Siegfried is from the German Nibelungenlied. Both stories have similarities but are different enough that it’s wrong to call them the same character. Both of them killed the Evil Dragon Fafnir. But while Siegfried bathed in the dragon’s blood and became invincible, Sigurd ate the dragon’s heart and gained knowledge and the ability to speak with animals.”

”Where did you learn this, Aishia?”

”The internet. After I knew that the opponent Charlie faced was the Evil Dragon Fafnir, I read the Nibelungenlied and Norse Volsung Saga on the internet. Maybe this can help you later.”

”I see…”

Aishia’s actions for him made Charlie feel touched.

”Too bad, I thought after defeating Fafnir, I would be able to level up to Level 5. Well, Fafnir gave me 3553 Excelia at once, fulfilling the conditions to achieve a great feat. I shouldn’t be greedy.”

If other adventurers knew that Charlie was still complaining after gaining more than 3000 Excelia at Level 4 in one go, they would scold him as a shameless bastard.

Keep in mind that the higher an adventurer’s level, the more difficult it is to increase their stats. Usually, a day of fighting monsters in the Dungeon would only give Low-Class Adventurers a few dozen Excelia. While for High-Class Adventurers, getting Excelia is much more challenging.

Take the recent Loki Familia expedition, for example; Aiz and the other executives spent days exploring the Dungeon up to Floor 58. They don’t know how many monsters they killed, but after Aiz returned from the expedition and updated her status, her stats only increased by a few points. This is why she’s been looking gloomy lately.

In short, High Grade Adventurers face the same problem, which is that the Monsters on the Deep Floor, do not provide significant Excelia!

On the other hand, Charlie was given The Chosen Savior Skill, one of his abilities: Rapidly increased growth rate.

In other words, every time he defeats an enemy, he will receive several times more Excelia than a normal adventurer.

That’s the power of a cheat!

Normal people can only be envious and jealous of those who cheat in life!

”As I recall, Rank D stats are already eligible to level up. Doesn’t Charlie want to level up now?”

”No need to rush; it’s not an urgent matter. It’s true that I can level up anytime now, but I just want to level up after maximizing all my stats to Rank EX. Anyway, I want the best for myself!”

”I understand.”

Nodding in agreement with the explanation, Aishia stroked the glowing green lines on Charlie’s chest again.

”Aishia…?”

”What?”

Aishia looked at him with an innocent gaze; Charlie abandoned his intention.

’Whatever, Aishia will stop stroking my chest after she gets bored.’ He thought to himself.

Meanwhile, Nino watched the two of them, she couldn’t help but feel envious of their intimacy.
