Super Tycoon: I Beg You, Stop Pulling Stunts

Chapter 41: Chapter 41: The Circle

”Hey man, nice car.”

The wild man Li Kai sent a message.

Lin Chu casually replied, ”Thanks. Your profile pic is pretty cool too. Where was it taken?”

”Siberia.”

Whoa.

Lin Chu was secretly impressed.

Living in a concrete jungle every day, he could only watch nature on TikTok, seeing other people’s amazing lives: grasslands, glaciers, road trips, off-roading, diving, skiing...

Lin Chu used to be jealous. ’Don’t these people have careers? Don’t they have to work?’

It seemed like their entire lives were just eating, drinking, having fun, and traveling, with no ambition at all.

Now, Lin Chu knew—they really didn’t have to work!

Because he was now living that kind of life himself.

And honestly, it was kind of boring.

’What else is there to do but have fun?’

”So, man, what’s up? You needed something?”

Lin Chu replied again, wanting to see what this was all about.

Li Kai: ”Haha, nothing much. Just wanted to get to know you. We should hang out sometime.”

Lin Chu: ”Sure, we definitely will.”

His old job in sales was all about meeting all sorts of people, and now with the system, Lin Chu was more than happy to have people adding him every day.

’Quantity first, then quality.’

After their short chat, Lin Chu casually scrolled through his social media feed.

And immediately...

Lin Chu was stunned.

’Holy shit, this is way too awesome, isn’t it?’

Last month, he was at the Pyramids, posing with a mummy.

The month before that, he was in Dubai, racing through the desert and shooting guns.

The month before *that*, he was in the Alps, hiking and skiing.

For Chinese New Year, he was in Iceland watching the incredibly brilliant aurora borealis.

Last winter, he was skiing and soaking in hot springs at Changbai Mountain.

Last fall, he was galloping on horseback across the great grasslands.

...

*Tsk.*

’Other people’s lives are my dream.’

After a moment’s thought, Lin Chu liked his ”Dubai” post.

...

At that moment.

Li Kai was also looking at Lin Chu’s social media feed.

There were only two posts.

The first was from a bar.

The second was a call to go to a bar.

Looking at them, he couldn’t help but chuckle, feeling a bit speechless, and guessed it was probably a side account.

That was normal, though.

A main account’s social network was complicated, so there were many things you couldn’t post. A side account was better—purely for fun.

Of course, he had no idea.

After his breakup, Lin Chu had deleted all his old posts showing off his relationship.

After quitting his job, he’d also deleted all his old work-related posts.

The only two posts left marked the beginning of his new life.

But it seemed that after he really started living this kind of life, Lin Chu didn’t feel much like posting on his feed anymore.

’If there’s a chance to flex, you do it on the spot.’

’Why would you need to do it on social media?’

...

After a little while.

After seeing Lin Chu’s like, Li Kai sent a message: ”Hey man, want to join my group? It’s a high-end travel group. We can all hang out.”

Lin Chu replied crisply, ”Add me.”

So he sent a group link.

The group’s name was: Global Airdrop.

Lin Chu: Uh.

Group Rules: This is a high-end travel group. For teaming up or finding travel partners, just post your needs directly. No advertising, or you’ll get a plane ticket out of here.

”@everyone, welcome the new member to the group. He’s from Brother Feng’s supercar club, the owner of a limited-edition Lamborghini, Young Master Chu.”

At the same time, Lin Chu saw the group notification.

Liu Junfeng and Lu Ming were both in the group.

For a moment, he was speechless.

’You guys... damn it, just how many groups are you in?’

But then again, it seemed pretty normal.

’Circles, after all.’

Like a series of intersecting circles, with overlapping parts and independent parts.

In these kinds of circles, it seemed like just having money wasn’t enough.

After Lin Chu joined the group, few people paid him any mind.

They were in the middle of a heated discussion about getting ready to go diving on Bohe Island.

They were already at the sign-up stage.

This group, unlike Liu Junfeng’s car owners’ group and the Thief Cao’s Group, wasn’t all men. In fact, there were a lot of women.

Of the seventeen people who had signed up so far, enough to almost form a tour group, more than half seemed to be women judging by their profile pictures—the kind with stunning scenery plus a selfie.

Looking at this, the corners of Lin Chu’s mouth couldn’t help but curve up slightly.

Before they have money, it’s hard for guys to travel everywhere.

But for women, traveling almost seemed to be a standard feature.

Li Kai: ”Everyone is welcome to sign up! The more the merrier—and safer. Plus, this trip is mainly to celebrate Teacher Meng’s 1000th dive. She’s planning a ’super nude dive.’ It’ll be a huge, lively event.”

Lin Chu: ?

’A nude dive?’

It seemed to be some kind of mysterious ritual in the diving community. Apparently, after your one-hundredth dive, you’re supposed to celebrate with a nude dive. This so-called Teacher Meng, with a thousand dives, was clearly a seasoned veteran.

’But what exactly makes it a *super* nude dive?’

”Teacher Meng, watch out for sea snakes.”

Liu Junfeng chimed in, joking around.

Teacher Meng replied, ”Wouldn’t something that long just feel amazing?”

This ”Teacher Meng” was clearly very uninhibited.

After she said that, the group instantly descended into a frenzy.

Lin Chu: ...

’I often feel I’m not perverted enough to fit in with you all.’

Li Kai: ”Same old rules, everyone. We’ll have a party before we leave, and a physical checkup before the party. The checkup includes the usual tests. Be responsible for yourself and for others.”

The group erupted in another round of knowing laughter.

Watching this, Lin Chu once again felt... ’You can party like this?’

’Could this be the legendary orgy?’

’If you call it a proper trip, it’s pretty... you know.’

’But if you call it improper, they still require a physical.’

Just two words... pro players.

Just then.

Lin Chu looked up from his phone screen, feeling someone watching him. It was Lu Ming.

Their eyes met, and they shared a smile.

He was also in the group, so of course he’d seen the recent conversation.

Lu Ming shook his head slightly.

With the two girls present, it was impossible to discuss the matter.

Lin Chu smiled, lit a cigarette, and exhaled a long plume of smoke.

’Day after day, life is just too interesting.’

’Even if I don’t go, just watching is an eye-opening experience.’

...

”Brother Chu, you wanna go?”

A moment later, after Xiaolu had dragged Du Xiaoman to the restroom, Lu Ming asked casually.

”Have you been before?”

Lin Chu didn’t answer, asking a question in return.

Lu Ming gave a bitter smile. ”Yeah, once. But that was in Pattaya. I was almost tricked by a ladyboy, for fuck’s sake. The experience left me scarred.”

Lin Chu couldn’t help but laugh out loud. ”Bigger than you, huh?”

Him: ... ”Please, don’t talk about it.”

”This Brother Kai, are you guys close with him?”

Lin Chu asked another question.

”Yeah, we’re close. He’s a good guy. A professional outdoor guide, a total badass who’s challenged the Ozaki 8. No matter where you go with him, you can’t go wrong.”

”You’ve got him in charge of the fun, and Brother Feng in charge of hitting on girls. Any event with both of them is guaranteed to be a good time.”

”But I’m in a relationship now... Going out for a bit of fun on the side once in a while is fine, but if I go away for ten days or half a month without Xiaolu, she’ll definitely explode.”

Lu Ming said with a pout, sounding a bit regretful.

Lin Chu nodded and smiled, not saying anything more.

The two girls were already back.
