Super Tycoon: I Beg You, Stop Pulling Stunts

Chapter 42: Chapter 42: A Man’s Dream House

To be fair, Lin Chu had seen all sorts of descriptions of orgies in videos and online forums. He’d even lost count of how many times he’d watched *The Wolf of Wall Street*, a classic film and required viewing for anyone in sales.

But even though just thinking about that kind of lifestyle got his blood pumping, if he were to actually do it right now, Lin Chu felt inexplicably intimidated.

’My threshold just isn’t that high yet.’

’I haven’t even unlocked the threesome achievement.’

’This isn’t a case of poverty limiting my imagination anymore; it’s my moral standards holding me back.’

’Not to say it’s an absolute rule, but at least ninety percent of rich people are total scoundrels. I’m just not scummy enough yet.’

Just then, his phone rang.

Lin Chu glanced at the caller ID. It was Zhang Peng.

”Bro, I found the presidential suite for you. It’s at the Wanhao near Che Kung Temple. Six rooms, fully loaded. The daily rate is 19,800, but the corporate rate is a fifty percent discount. Paying monthly comes out to around 300,000. If you pay for the year, it’s a seventy percent discount, coming to 2.16 million.”

Zhang Peng’s voice sounded somewhat resigned.

’This is just nuts.’

However, since Lin Chu had decided to spend the money, there wasn’t much he could say.

”Let’s go take a look first.”

Lin Chu said with a laugh, though he sighed to himself. ’It would have been better without the discount.’ Still, this kind of over-the-top spending was a comedy when you saw it in a movie. In real life, you’d just look like a complete idiot.

”Wait for me. I’m heading over now.”

After hanging up, Lin Chu stood up. ”You three hang out for a bit. I’ve got to step out for some business. We can figure out dinner later tonight.”

He didn’t really want Du Xiaoman to know about his secret base.

”Where are you going?”

Du Xiaoman asked, looking up at him pitifully.

Ever since she’d ridden in the Lamborghini, Lin Chu hadn’t seen her act cold and aloof again. Or more accurately, she hadn’t acted that way in front of *him*. It even made him miss her wild, untamable spirit a little. ’I’ll have to get her to bring it back later.’

”Going to make some money.”

”After I’m done making money, I’ll buy you a purse. Be good.”

He smiled and patted her head, gave Lu Ming a nod, then grabbed the car keys from the table and headed for the underground garage.

Watching his retreating back...

Xiaolu couldn’t help but ask Lu Ming again, her curiosity piqued, ”What kind of business is Brother Chu in, anyway? It feels like his net worth must be in the hundreds of millions...”

Du Xiaoman pricked up her ears as well.

Lu Ming just shook his head and smiled. ”I don’t know. He used to be in finance, so I guess he still is. The only difference now is probably the scale of his funds. As for a hundred million... hard to say.”

He had a strong feeling that Lin Chu’s success had happened overnight.

But he really didn’t know what Lin Chu was doing specifically.

’But since we’re not business or financial partners, and we’re just here to have a good time, why get hung up on the details?’

...

Lin Chu drove straight to the location Zhang Peng had sent. When he pulled up to the entrance of the Wanhao, a sharply dressed doorman in a suit immediately came over to valet his car.

Zhang Peng was waiting at the entrance with another man in a suit.

”Let’s go.”

”Let’s see the room first. If it’s good, we’ll sign the contract.”

Lin Chu said decisively.

The three of them went inside and got into the elevator. Only then did Zhang Peng make the introduction: the manager was a man named Li Xiaoguang.

”Mr. Lin, hello. Welcome to our Wanhao hotel. Mr. Zhang has already informed us of your requirements, and we will do our utmost to meet them.”

Lin Chu gave a casual nod.

The elevator went up, and they soon arrived at the suite. After a quick look around, Lin Chu saw that it had everything he expected and told him to prepare the contract for an annual payment.

Zhang Peng: ...

He was baffled, but deeply impressed.

Sitting down on the sofa in front of the massive floor-to-ceiling windows, Lin Chu lit a cigarette and gazed down below. It wasn’t rush hour yet, but the endless stream of traffic was already starting to back up.

”From now on, the two of us will live here.”

Zhang Peng: ?

”Me?”

He’d thought that when Lin Chu rented the suite for a year, it might be for himself, or maybe to entertain important clients. He never would have dreamed it was to have *him* stay too.

”Bro, don’t joke around. It sounds like you’re trying to become my sugar daddy.”

His butthole clenched inexplicably.

Lin Chu shot him a glare. ”Get lost. It’s just for convenience, nothing else. It’s too boring living alone. It’s more fun to live with a few bros, to eat, drink, and have fun together. God, I fucking miss my college days, that kind of communal living... I’m not planning on getting married, and I don’t want to live with a woman—it’s too much drama. If I don’t live with my bros, what else am I supposed to do?”

This wasn’t entirely an excuse; there was a good bit of truth to what Lin Chu was saying.

Zhang Peng stared at him, dumbfounded. He nodded, sighed softly, and then he understood.

’The big boss... he’s lonely.’

”Deal. I’ll bring back some fun stuff—game consoles, computers... The suite already has an automatic mahjong table. There’s a sauna downstairs, an executive lounge on the roof, and the hotel offers massages and a spa. And nearby, there are golf courses, basketball courts, soccer fields... Damn... This is gonna be the life.”

Just imagining it all was enough to get him excited.

Lin Chu roared with laughter.

’Now that’s the spirit! It’s practically every man’s dream setup.’

...

The contract was prepared quickly.

Lin Chu gave it a quick glance, focusing only on the price and the duration. Seeing no issues, he signed and prepared to pay.

Zhang Peng tactfully stood up and moved to the side, both to show respect for the privacy of the payment password and because he didn’t want to watch the transaction. He felt like his own heart was bleeding.

Lin Chu glanced at him, his brow furrowed slightly.

’Don’t go.’

’If he called me ’Dad’ right now, I’d hit the jackpot. Two million times ten would be twenty million.’

’But the mood isn’t quite right. Forcing him to call me ’Dad’ would be really awkward.’

’Besides, there’s a stranger watching.’

Considering Zhang Peng’s pride, Lin Chu hesitated and decided against forcing the issue.

Instead, he just said, ”Hold on to the contract for now. I’ll stay for a month first to try it out. If I like it, I’ll pay for the full year anytime during the month.”

Li Xiaoguang was slightly taken aback.

However, maintaining his professionalism, he smiled and said, ”Of course, that’s fine. I will still give you the annual contract price, at the seventy-percent discount. For one month, the price will be one hundred sixty-six thousand, three hundred and twenty exactly.”

He’d hesitated for a moment. After all, the monthly payment price and the annual one had different discounts. But thinking of the impressive air Lin Chu had projected the entire time, and the Lamborghini he’d driven up in, he decided to play the long game.

For a particularly valuable corporate client, they could offer the seventy-percent discount even on a monthly payment plan.

Lin Chu nodded and transferred one month’s payment to the account number on the contract.

Seeing this, Zhang Peng actually felt a lot more relaxed.

’That’s more like it.’

’This is how it should be.’

’Just stay for a month and see.’

’If it’s really that good, it’s not too late to extend then.’

After the payment went through, Lin Chu quickly saw the system rebate arrive: 330,000 credited to his account.

As for the rest of the bulk payment, he would naturally have to choose the right moment—when he could trigger the ”Dad” bonus—before paying.

Shaking his head with a little smile, Lin Chu looked at Zhang Peng, a hint of expectation in his eyes.

Zhang Peng: ?

In his eyes, Lin Chu’s smile suddenly seemed unnervingly suggestive...
