Rebirth: A Cinderella's Counterattack

He saw four people dressed like butlers coming down from the second floor, and each one wore a sinister smile, eagerly rubbing their hands together, ready for action.

”Originally, I was hesitant to directly act against you all because this is Han Chen’s territory after all. If someone were killed here, the Xu Family would have a hard time explaining it to the Han Family,” the butler chuckled as he looked at Han Chen who had been knocked down. ”Now, we are merely servants, and you all are the invaders. Even if you call the police, we will be on the side of justice.”

”Hehe, you think we don’t have any evidence? The video of you taking Xiu Ran is still in the school,” Luo Qianqian narrowed her eyes, feigning calm. Now, Elvis was injured, and Xi Ming alone couldn’t handle so many people. It seemed she had been too careless.

”Oh, it was Han Chen who took him away. What does that have to do with us?” the butler said with a mocking face. ”It would have been better if you had just stayed quietly in that small city. Why come here and be an eyesore? Little bastard, would your Luo Family have managed to escape if it wasn’t for you?”

Luo Qianqian’s gaze turned icy cold. The person he was undoubtedly referring to was Xu Tianyi.

”Our Luo Family’s business is none of your concern, you cur! Even if I stayed by my mother’s side, that wouldn’t change the fact that I have Luo Family blood in my veins. I am my father’s daughter, my grandfather’s granddaughter!” Luo Qianqian spoke each word with pause, her face growing darker: ”Dare to lay a hand on my brother’s friend and see what happens!”

Saying this, Luo Qianqian picked up the fruit knife she had used earlier to cut the sofa, her face cold and resolute. She didn’t mind doing something to protect everyone, but she feared that one stab might prevent her from attending her grandfather’s birthday dinner, Sister Xi’s wedding, or going home to see her mother have the baby.

”Haha, listen to her, so self-righteous,” the butler said with a smile to the similarly dressed people behind him, who also burst into laughter, then suddenly turned cold: ”But what if I act? Do you think holding a knife makes you strong? Don’t you know there’s something called a gun?”

As he spoke, he took a black object from the hands of one of the men behind him. Everyone fixed their eyes on it and then their faces turned pale—it was a handgun!

Luo Qianqian’s hand clutching the fruit knife began to tremble slightly, and she took two steps back, but still resolutely stood in front of Luo Yanran and Qin Nuan.

Luo Yanran frowned, pulled Luo Qianqian behind him: ”With brother here, I will protect you, I will protect all of you.” Just then, a ’bang’ was heard, and Luo Yanran grunted, his white shirt beginning to stain red as the bullet grazed his arm and hit the wall.

Luo Yanran frowned deeply: ”So this is what being shot feels like?” He then covered the wound on his arm and ruffled Luo Qianqian’s head: ”I’m glad you’re safe.”

Luo Qianqian’s eyes turned bloodshot, the past fear and bloodshed resurfacing, her face tinged with madness as she clenched her fists tightly, the fruit knife in her hand trembling slightly.

”You dare touch my brother!” Luo Qianqian, eyes reddened, abruptly pushed Luo Yanran away. Luo Yanran staggered to one side, caught quickly by Qin Nuan, but her attention wasn’t on the injured Luo Yanran; instead, it was on the visibly disturbed Luo Qianqian.

Elvis’s expression changed: ”Damn, side effects of the medication!”

Luo Qianqian, now completely deaf to her surroundings and with eyes fiercely red, walked determinedly toward the butler holding the gun.

”Interesting, interesting, I had heard that the Luo granddaughter developed some psychological shadow because of blood, which was only cured by the Silver Needle, but now it seems, the rumors were not quite correct,” he remarked.

With a gun in hand aimed at Luo Qianqian, she didn’t hesitate for a moment. Instead, she charged forward, suddenly grabbing the butler’s thighs. As the knife went in red and came out white, the butler’s gun dropped to the ground the next second, his face pale and sweat-drenched as he bent over. Luo Qianqian kicked him away, aiming towards Elvis and Xi Ming, purely on instinct, without thinking.

Subconsciously, the injured Luo Yanran and the two girls should not have been involved in this.

Then watching the butler clutch a part of him that was bloodily flowing, without any hesitation, she stabbed the same spot on Luo Yanran’s hand, the butler’s eyes reddened with rage. Just as he was about to react, he saw Luo Qianqian smile, her eyes clearing back to normal, and mockingly measured before stabbing into the gap between the finger and the bleeding part, ready to cut again, only to be pushed away by the butler, falling over together with the knife.

Luo Qianqian stood up the next second, waving towards Luo Yanran with a bright smile still on her face.

Elvis frowned, ”Self-healing? How is this possible? Could it be that the residual drug has completely worn off?” He strained to pick up the gun that had fallen by his feet.

Xi Ming was caught off guard for a moment, ”We’ll look into this issue later, you shut up and stay put.” Then he stood up, rubbing his hands together, walked over to Luo Qianqian’s side, and faced the remaining four men.

”Kill them!” The butler, clutching his groin and sitting collapsed, drenched in sweat, bit his lower lip tightly, his eyes filled with venom.

Behind them, the group of A, B, C, and D moved forward. Luo Qianqian raised her eyebrows and picked up the silver needle she had wrapped and thrown aside earlier from the ground, ”If you’ve got an issue, come at me. Bullying girls isn’t proving anything.” Xi Ming, noticing Luo Qianqian’s slightly trembling legs, hesitated for a moment then immediately stood in front of her.

”Damn it!” Just then, an untimely voice erupted, ”My house! My paintings! 2.6 million dollars, damn it! Release me!”

Han Chen did not know when he had woken up, but he belatedly noticed the remnants next to the gun-wielding Elvis, ”Damn, what the hell is going on!”

He struggled fiercely, but with his hands and feet tied behind him, he was still lying on the ground, struggling like a turtle that couldn’t flip over.

”Damn it! Luo Yanran! Have you really gone too far? Didn’t I say to solve this peacefully?” Han Chen was utterly terrified, hurriedly searching for Luo Qianqian’s figure, relieved to see her unharmed, ”You scared me to death...”

”Master Han Chen, it seems your method was not quite accepted by these guests, so we took the liberty of using our way to keep them,” Soldier A said while bowing to Han Chen, glancing at the butler kneeling and gasping on the ground.

It was at this time Han Chen realized something even more alarming; the person kneeling on the ground looked a lot like someone sent by the Xu Family. So were these men all brought by him?

Luo Qianqian waved the knife in her hand, ”Hmm, leaving dead bodies counts as leaving something, right? We currently have two critically injured, two lightly injured, and six mentally disturbed. I wonder if it’s the Han Family or the Xu Family who will compensate us?”

”Compensate your damn leg!” The man kneeling on the ground roared, ”I want your life!”
