The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 25 - 25- Magic Knight Entrance Ceremony (2)

Every seat, every gallery, every stand was packed with people. Except for a few seats at the top level of the coliseum which were reserved for members of the seven great knight orders.

Each stand had its own plaque with its own insignia sewn on a flag next to their stands, indicating the seating area of each order.

Before Reinhardt and his Order of the Temple of Light arrived, most of the seating areas were occupied by their respective knight orders.

WOAHHH... the crowd erupted in a gasp of awe and reverence the moment the Order of the Temple of Light walked in. As one of the Seven Great Knight orders, the Temple of Light had once been one of the top three strongest Knight orders, it was only a natural reaction.

However, this buzz had recently died down when their order failed to accomplish anything great in recent years after their Commander fell ill. However, now that Reinhardt was back in action and personally leading his order, they once again couldnʼt help but wonder if this order would once again rise to the top.

”So the rumor was indeed true, Reinhardt the Divine paladin is indeed back huh?” One of the commanders who was not among the seven great knight orders ranking, commented. It seemed that he had long heard of the rumor of Reinhardt waking up.

”This shall be interesting. Now that he is back, he definitely aims to get his throne back. However, the other knight orders are not so soft as to let him overtake them easily. Plus, I heard there are other knight orders who have been increasing their strength recently to get into the seven great knight order ranking. As the tail end of the seven great knight orders, the Temple of Light is the target of many knight orders. I wonder what he plans to do?”

Reinhardt ignored the cries of surprise, awe and jealousy directed at him and headed for their seating area. Just then, a figure walked over from the opposite end.

Like him, the figure too was leading their own order towards their seating area.

”Hoh, if it isnʼt Sir Reinhardt? Looks like you are doing quite well.”

Noticing him, the figure initiated a conversation. He had a build like a wolf, had a head full of short grey hair, and was wearing heavy armor all around his body. The mantle he was draped in had the image of a fierce wolf baring its fangs with two swords impaling it from the side.

The man was none other than the Commander of the rising knight order, Iron Wolf— Guren.

”Itʼs all thanks to the old gods that I am doing good. Thanks for your concern” Reinhardt replied in a curt few words before walking past Guren and the members of the Iron Wolf Order.

”Kehehe, Commander you must have scared that guy. He didnʼt even stand his ground in front of us and walked away” one of the knights of the Iron Wolf order, spoke in a hushed voice that only they could hear.

”Hmph, of course he would. He might be a legendary paladin with numerous achievements and stories of valor under his belt, but it is all in the past. After being inflicted with some curse, he has been out of combat for so long that his body has to have regressed. Even if he was a former level 10, his power would be weaker than ever”...

”Perhaps his level has even fallen. This will be our Iron Wolf Knightsʼ chance to take the Temple of Lightʼs place as the new Seven Great Knight orders. Letʼs show them during this knight entrance ceremony that even if Reinhardt himself shows up, he wonʼt be able to salvage the deteriorating reputation of his order.”

Guren commented suavely as he strutted to their seating area. Reinhardt met a few more knight orders on his way, some of them were his old acquaintances from the Seven Great Knight order.

They exchanged a few words before moving onto their seating area.

”Hahaha, I knew I sensed a mighty warrior. My senses can immediately recognise if they are strong or not, if they feel the presence of one.”

A loud husky voice that shook the entire arena rang out, followed by the appearance of a burly frame of man with a lion like mane and features.

BAM... the figure dropped down from the sky and landed in front of Reinhardt. Just like Guren, he was decked out in heavy armor from head to toe and carried two large swords on his back.

Where the hell did he come from?

Reinhardt looked around and saw that there was no place the man could have dropped down from which meant that the latter must have jumped from outside the coliseum. Talk about doing something unnecessary.

Reinhardt shook his head and smiled at the man ”You are still as outrageous as ever, Brutus. Arenʼt you worried that you are only causing more work for your order?”...

The man who was referred to as Brutus, laughed loudly and thumped his chest.

”What work? It is normal that we meet when we both are here. Who wants to stand in a queue? I Brutus, am a man who does everything in a fiery and flashy manner.... Hahaha”.

Their conversation immediately attracted all the attention from the coliseum. Whether it be the participants, audience, or even the commander of the seven great knight orders, all strained their necks and looked at the two men conversing.

Their presence attracted all eyes, and why would it not? After all, the two men were two of the three level 10 knights of the kingdom. The strongest beings there is.

”Huff... Huff... Commander, please wait for us. Why did you suddenly jump from outside the colosseum” At this moment, knights from his order, caught up to him.

Reinhardt observed their figures that were huffing and puffing and furrowed his brows. The company that Brutus brought with him were all squire level, with none of the high ranking members of his order to be seen.
