Chapter 2575: Chapter 2575: The Same Goal

”I will pay attention to those matters.” Liu Suwan said.

”I don’t need to eat any medicine?” Zhang Lusi asked.

”No... You don’t have to.” Yu Qi nodded.

Then, someone chuckled. Yu Qi and others turned to the person who just chuckled.

”Why are you laughing?” Yu Qi asked.

It was Doctor Ma Junjie. He should be at his tent, but he was here at Yu Qi’s tent.

”Doctor Tang, I know you want to promote the TCM, but you should not lie.” Doctor Ma Junjie stated.

”What are you talking about? What did I lie about?” Yu Qi asked again.

”Every illness needs medicine. If she does not require medicine, it means she is not sick. That is simple.” Doctor Ma Junjie said.

Everyone turned to look at Yu Qi. Yu Qi did not even change her expression.

”Doctor Ma, our method is different. You may not know it, but I am someone who learn TCM and modern medicine. I know which one is the best for my patient. If my patient requires modern medicine, I will not block them because the goal is always the same for TCM and modern medicine, which is to heal the patients.” Yu Qi stated.

The statement got applauded by the people around.

This made Doctor Ma Junjie angry. He snorted. ”Humph!”

Nurse Shin Teng, who was listening, could not hold herself back any longer.

”Hey, let me ask you. What is your problem? I noticed you seemed to nitpick Doctor Yu Qi.” Nurse Shin Teng immediately sounded out Doctor Ma Junjie.

”Nitpick her? When did I do it?” Doctor Ma Junjie retorted it back.

”You did just now. And why are you here? Should you be at your tent, doing the medical checkup?” Nurse Shin Teng stated. Then, she smirked. ”Or, don’t tell me there is no one lined up at your tent? And that is why you are coming to our tent?”

Doctor Ma Junjie’s face turned red. It was indeed like Nurse Shin Teng said. Fewer people were lining up at his tent. So, he did not have any patients at all. He did not know why. That was why he had time to walk around.

”Shut up! I am leaving.” Doctor Ma Junjie shouted before leaving.

”Humph!” Nurse Shin Teng snorted.

Yu Qi continued checking people and advising them about their health.

Then, the village leader came to her tent.

”Everyone, I have a good news to share with you.” The village leader announced.

Everyone immediately turned to the village leader.

”Doctor Tang has cured Old Madam Ming.” The village leader said.

”Is it really true?” Someone asked.

”Yes. I went to visit Old Man Ming earlier. He said that his wife could stand up and walk like a normal person. She even seems stronger and healthier.” The village leader stated.

”Are you telling the truth?” Another one chimned in.

”What is the point of lying about that?” The village leader asked. He turned to Yu Qi. ”Doctor Tang, thank you for saving my people.”

With that, Yu Qi’s reputation among the villagers became so good. They were talking about Yu Qi like she was some kind of miracle doctor.

People kept coming and greeting Yu Qi when she was on the way home. Yu Qi replied with a smile on her lips.

”You are back.” Liu Suwan welcomed Yu Qi.

”Hmm...” Yu Qi responded.

”I heard that. You cured Grandma Ming. Grandpa Ming must be so happy at this moment.” Liu Suwan said.

”Yes, indeed.” Yu Qi nodded.

”We are about to have dinner. Come in.” Liu Suwan said.

”By the way, do you have time to talk after the kids sleep?” Yu Qi asked.

”Yeah... I can spare some time.” Liu Suwan nodded.

”Please inform your husband as well.” Yu Qi stated.

Liu Suwan nodded. It seemed Yu Qi had something serious to talk about.

They had dinner.

”Doctor Tang, I heard Nurse Shin call you with a different name earlier. Is that your first name?” Zhang Lusi asked.

”Yes... My name is Tang Yu Qi.” Yu Qi nodded.

”Why is she calling you with your first name, not your surname?” Zhang Lusi asked again.

”Oh... That is because she used to call me by my first name. The hospital where I work has a lot of doctors’ surnames Tang. So it will be confusing if we use the same name. So, we often used our first time.” Yu Qi explained.

”I see... Why does the hospital have a lot of doctors with that surname? Are they family with you? Mom said only family has the same surname.” Zhang Mingzhu suddenly asked. She was listening to the conversation.

”Mingzhu is right. They are my family. I have two uncles and three brothers working at the same hospital.” Yu Qi nodded.

”Doctor Tang, are you family all doctors?” Zhang Lusi asked in surprise.

”Yes.. Except for two aunties and two younger cousins, others are doctors.” Yu Qi stated.

”Wow... That is amazing.” Zhang Lusi was impressed. ”Are they in the same field as you? Are they also practising TCM?”

”No... My first brother is an ophthalmologist, a doctor for eye. My second brother is an otolaryngologist, a doctor who often treats the ear, nose, and throat. My third brother is a neurosurgeon. He operated on the brain.” Yu Qi explained one by one to the children.

”I see... So, there are a lot of kinds of doctors.” Zhang Lusi nodded.
