Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

Chapter 2554: Chapter 2554: Raid

Around 10 p.m., the police raid the convenience store. They entered the store. They thought the store had been abandoned and someone had leaked the information about the raid. However, when they went behind the counter, they would see a man lying down. He was conscious because his eyes were blinking as he saw the police officers, but her could not move.

Someone shouted that they had found a hidden path. Yu Qi left it open for the police to find the path more easily. The leader told them to be careful while going in.

When they arrived at the hidden space, they were surprised to see other men lying on the ground in the same condition as the one they found outside.

The scarred man finally understood what the woman meant by her words before she left. So, she was talking about the police. She wanted to see if they could recover before the police found them or not. That bitch, he cursed it in his mind.

The police officer took everything. They also called some backup to take care of what they had found in that place. There were a lot of expensive items.

The scarred man and his gang were brought to the hospital to check what happened to them. The doctors shook their heads. They could not determine what happened to the men. They did not detect anything inside these men’s bodies.

The police officers thought those men were lying to them to escape. So, the leader guarded those men tightly. To their surprise, the next day, some of those men regained their ability to talk even though they still could not move their bodies.

The police officer who was in charge of the case rushed to the hospital as he received the doctor’s call. He wanted to ask them about what happened to them.

”Boss, who is that girl?”

”Boss, what had she done to us?”

”Boss, can we recover from this?”

”Boss, I don’t want to stay like this for the rest of my life.”

That was what the leader of the police officers managed to hear before he entered the ward. The police asked the doctors to put them in one room because it was much easier to guard them. He opened the door. The men inside the room thought it was the doctor and wanted to beg him to save them. However, they shut up when they saw the police officers walk into the room.

”You finally can talk. So, you might tell us what happened to you?” The police officer stated.

Everyone turned to the scarred man, waiting for his answer. With this action, the police officer finally found out that this scarred man was their leader.

”So, let’s talk.” The police officer looked at the scarred man.

The scarred man was silent. The police officers looked at each other.

”Well, it’s fine if you don’t want to talk. We finally caught you. We had been eyeing you for a long time. But we still could not find your hidden place. Who thought you used a convenience store as your base? With the evidence that we found, it would be enough to convict you.” The police officer said.

The police officers did not want to waste their time here. So, they stood up and were about to leave when suddenly, someone shouted.

”There was a woman who attacked us. She was the one who made us like this.” The person stated.

The police officers stopped walking and turned out.

”A woman, you say?” The police officer became interested.

”Yes. She barged in and demanded the necklace and the brooch that we just obtained. When we refused, we became like this. We still did not know how she made us become like this.” The person continued.

”Yeah... That woman is so weird.” Another person chimed in.

”Who is the woman?” The police officer asked again.

”We don’t know. Oh... I remember. We set up a hidden camera. You can search the camera and watch the video.” The person said.

The police officer looked at his subordinate. The subordinate nodded and rushed over. They would go and find the hidden camera.

”So, you really have no idea what she had done to you guys?” The police officer asked.

”No. But it seemed she knew that you were coming to our place.” The scarred man said.

”Huh? What do you mean by that?” The police officer frowned when he heard the remark.

”She seemed to know your operation. You are probably being used by that woman. Oh... To think about, she was targeting the necklace and the brooch. It must be something with that necklace and the brooch.” The scarred man stated.

It made the police officer frown even more. If what the scarred man said was true, it might not be a simple case if the maid stole the employer’s jewellery and her parent sold the jewellery. It would be something else behind this.

That maid might be hired by someone else to steal the jewellery. Then, she had her parents store it for her. The parent was blind with the money, took the jewellery and stole them to the scarred man. They chose to sell the jewellery to the scarred man because the scarred man would accept everything. He would need to interrogate the maid again.

For the time being, he was feeling glad as he managed to catch the scarred man.
