Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

”You want to divorce me? How dare you!!!” Bai Gu Wen shouted angrily to Quan De Bei.

”Why not? You can find pleasure with other men if you want to. It is pointless to stay in this marriage anymore.” Quan De Bei said calmly.

”I don’t want to get divorced.” Bai Gu Wen did not want to sign the paper.

”Then, let’s go to the court then.” Quan De Bei did not want his life to be bounded to this woman again. ”I have a lot of evidence that stated you are cheating on me.”

”De Bei, can you think about Hou Chi? She is still young and should have a complete family.” Bai Gu Wen played Quan Hou Chi’s card.

She knew that Quan De Bei loved Quan Hou Chi so much.

”If you are talking about me, I am fine if you want to divorce.” Hearing her name being mentioned, Quan Hou Chi expressed her thought.

Both Quan De Bei and Bai Gu Wen automatically looked up. They saw their daughter looking down at them. It assumed that she was at that spot for quite some time.

”Hou Chi.... you...” Quan De Bei sighed.

”Don’t interrupt what we are talking about.” Bai Gu Wen said angrily. ”You don’t understand.”

”Mum, I understand everything. You are cheating on dad. You two should get a divorce. After that, you can go and find numerous men.” Quan Hou Chi said without changing her expression. ”So, no need for you to think about me since you have never done it before.”

”You... how dare you say something like that to me? I am your mother.” Bai Gu Wen shouted, pointing her finger at Quan Hou Chi.

”Since Hou Chi doesn’t mind, we should get a divorce.” Quan De Bei said.

”No!!!! I will not sign it.” Bai Gu Wen was furious.

”We will see on the court then.” Quan De Bei said.

”If we divorce, Hou Chi will stay with me.” Bai Gu Wen said.

”Sorry to interrupted again, Mum, if you guys get divorced, I am planning to stay with my dad.” It was Quan Hou Chi’s voice again.

”You are my daughter. You should stay with me. The mother takes care way better than the father.” Bai Gu Wen argued.

Quan Hou Chi chuckled. Her parent heard that.

”What is so funny about that?” Bai Gu Wen felt irritated when hearing the chuckle coming from Quan Hou Chi.

”Mum, are you really saying that statement? You never take care of me. Only Dad cares about me. You can give your care to others.” Quan Hou Chi said. She then turned to her father. ”Dad, fight for your freedom.”

Quan Hou Chi entered her room leaving the couple alone. The maids felt the same way about Quan Hou Chi. Bai Gu Wen never cared about her daughter. She only talked to her daughter when praising Quan Hou Chi’s cousin, Bai Feng Jiu. They could see that Quan Hou Chi wanted some attention from her mother but her mother never gave a shit about her. They felt pity for Quan Hou Chi. It was better for Quan Hou Chi to live with her father instead of her mother.

”Sign the divorce paper, Bai Gu Wen.” Quan De Bei did not have anything to say.

”Quan De Bei, do you want your company to go bankrupt?” Bai Gu Wen threatened.

”I don’t.” Quan De Bei said.

”Then....” Bai Gu Wen wanted to talk again but she had been interrupted by Quan De Bei.

”I still want you to sign the divorce paper no matter what.” Quan De Bei firmly stated what he wanted.

His daughter already gave a push on his back. He did not want to disappoint his daughter.

”Never!!!” Bai Gu Wen shouted.

”Then, we will see on the court.” Quan De Bei left and went to his room.

He did not share the room with his wife anymore. It was his wife who wanted it that way. She told him that she wanted more privacy.

So, Bai Gu Wen was left alone in the living room. She was so angry that she shouted in anger. That made the maids shocked and left where they were hiding. If Bai Gu Wen saw them watching the argument, Bai Gu Wen would definitely have the anger out on them. They did not want that to happen.

....

Quan De Bei did what he said. He filed the divorce in court. He made some preparation by hiring the best divorce lawyer. With that much evidence showing Bai Gu Wen was cheating on her husband, the court was on Quan De Bei’s side. He successfully divorced his wife... oh... right now, it was the ex-wife.

As Quan Hou Chi said, she wanted to live with her father. They packed up their important things and left the house because the house was under Bai Gu Wen’s name even though it was brought with Quan De Bei’s money at that time.

Quan De Bei did not want anything with Bai Gu Wen anymore. So, he just gave the house to her. He already brought a small house big enough to live together with his daughter.

Quan De Bei wanted to hire someone to cook and clean around the house. Quan Hou Chi agreed that since both of them had other things to do. Quan De Bei was working and Quan Hou Chi needed to go to school. So, hiring someone that could cook and clean around the house was the better decision.
