Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

Quan Hou Chi was at the school when she heard some people talking about a topic. She was not intended to listen to the topic but the people were so loud. So, she could not help to listen to the topic.

”Do you read the trending news today?”

”Yeah. I read it.”

”She looked like someone’s mother.”

”That’s right. It is disgusting.”

”And she dared to do something like that to younger people. These men are like her son if we compare to the age.”

”I will be very embarrassing if she is my mother.”

”I will ask my father to divorce her as soon as possible.”.

”Yeah. I will never recognize her as my mother.”

Listening to the conversation, Quan Hou Chi was wondering about that. She usually did not pay much attention to others. Not to mention, the trending news. She was curious, so, she opened the web and read the trending news.

She almost dropped her phone when she read the news. Her mother’s face was clearly in the video. Like those students earlier, she was also disgusted with that. Was this what she always does?

Nobody in her school knew the woman inside the video was her mother. Her mother never came to the school to attend the parent meeting. Only her father came.

Right now she was thankful that her mother never came to her school. Otherwise, everyone would know that the woman inside the video was her mother. She would be very embarrassing at that moment.

She wanted to study before but she changed her mind. She wanted to return home as soon as possible and meet her father. But she decided to go to her father office first. Her father was probably still in the office.

She took a taxi to go to her father office. Her father’s company was not so big but it was a good business. However, her mother was looking up at her father’s company because it was not so big as her uncle’s company, Bai Group.

”Hello.” Quan Hou Chi greeted the woman at the front desk.

”Oh, it is Mr Quan’s daughter. Good evening.” The woman said. ”You want to see Mr Quan?”

It was not the first time she came here. So, most of the workers here already knew her as Mr Quan’s daughter. They allowed her to stay at the office.

”Yes, is my father available?” Quan Hou Chi asked.

She asked because she did not want to disturb her father’s work if he was with someone else. She could wait until her father was available.

”I think Mr Quan has a meeting with a buyer. About one hour ago. I don’t know if the meeting is finished or not. Wait a minute. I will check with the secretary department.” The woman said.

”Okay, Sis. Thank you. I will wait over there.” Quan Hou Chi nodded and moved the waiting area.

The woman nodded and called someone. She seemed to nod several times and talked in between it. After getting the answer that she wanted, the woman hung up the call and went to Quan Hou Chi.

”Miss Quan, Mr Quan already finished his meeting. You can go and meet him right now.” The woman said.

”Thank you.” Quan Hou Chi nodded.

She went to her father’s room. Her father was looking at something on his phone. She could see her father’s expression because the glass could see through. He seemed to look very shocked.

Quan Hou Chi thought that her father was probably reading about her mother’s news. She knocked on the door.

Her father looked up and was surprised to see Quan Hou Chi here. His daughter should be in school right now

”Hou Chi, what are you doing here?” Quan De Bei asked his daughter.

”Dad, do you read about Mum’s news?” Quan Hou Chi asked her father back.

Quan De Bei’s lips twitched up.

”Dad, what are you thinking about that?” Quan Hou Chi directly asked her father. She wanted to know what his father wanted to do regarding the news.

”I...” Quan De Bei could not find the word to talk about that.

His wife was cheating on him and let him wear the bright green hat on his head.

”Dad, I don’t think you should foolishly follow Mum anymore.” Quan Hou Chi said.

Her mother never respected her father as the wife respected her husband. Her mother liked to scold her father if something had gone the wrong way, not what she wanted to.

”If I divorce, what will happen to you?” Quan De Bei held back because of his daughter.

”Don’t worry about me, Dad. I am fine if you divorce.” Quan Hou Chi said.

”But our family would not be completed again...” Quan De Bei sighed.

”Dad, are you notice our family is not the same as everyone? My mother... She never acts like a mother to me. I also knew that she never acts like a wife to you.” Quan Hou Chi stated the fact.

Quan De Bei went to silence. What his daughter said was the truth. After Bai Gu Wen gave birth to Quan Hou Chi, she refused to take care of Quan Hou Chi like a proper mother. She gave that task to others.

Bai Gu Wen hit the gym after 40 days of her giving birth. She said that she needed to lose weight after giving birth to Quan Hou Chi. She did not want to look like an old hag.
