Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

”There is a high level of concentration of Demerol in his blood.” Yu Qi said the result.

The couple did not understand the meaning of the Demerol at all. They thought that was some pain killer. So, they could not understand the real meaning behind Yu Qi’s statement.

”Demerol is a red prescription painkiller. Its effects and mechanism are to those of morphine. It’s equivalent to 1/10-1/7 of morphine. Long-term use will result in addiction, and it’s classified as a strictly controlled narcotic drug.” Yu Qi explained.

The father caught the last word. ’Drug.’ He was shocked.

”Doctor, you mean my son is...” He could not finish the sentence.

”Yes, he is. The symptoms are showing exactly what it is.” Doctor Jun Zhan also confirmed it.

”What are you talking about? What is going on with my son? I don’t understand.” The mother asked.

”Lin Ye is a drug addict.” The father explained to the mother.

”No. It can’t be.” The mother could not believe it.

”I am sorry to tell you. Our hospital has a policy. If we counter something like this, we need to call to police and report this to them.” Doctor Jun Zhan said.

”What? No. Don’t call the police.” The mother said.

”Call them.” The father said calmly.

”Dear, what are you thinking? We can’t report our son.” The mother cried at her husband.

”So, what do you want to do? He is endangering our life.” The father knew someday if the son continued the same way, he would endanger his parent too.

”But...but...” The mother could not find the word anymore.

”Call them, Doctor.” The father said. He knew it would make his wife sad but he needed to do this. Who did not love their son....

So, the hospital called the police to take away the man. After 15 minutes, the police came and arrested the man. As expected, the man wanted to run away since he saw the police. However, he could not run away. So, he ended up taking by the police.

The man did not sick at all. He just wanted to cheat some Demerol from the hospital for his drug addiction.

When the police came, some onlookers were watching the scene.

”What happens?”

”I think he is a drug addict.”

”Really? That’s scary.”

”That couple is probably his parent.”

”What a shame getting a son like that.”

”Yeah.”

The onlookers discussed that.

”Thank you, Doctor Jun Zhan.” Yu Qi bowed.

”Don’t worry. I am glad nothing happened. Otherwise, it is probably much more chaos than this.” Doctor Jun Zhan said.

On the next day, the doctors and nurses in the department heard about what happened last night. They came to Yu Qi who was about to leave.

”We heard that the police came yesterday. Is that true?” Nurse Jin asked.

”Well... yeah. They came to arrest a drug addict.” Yu Qi explained.

”Wow... that’s crazy. How does that happen?” Doctor Liu Yao asked the detail.

”The man came here and told me that he was having pain around his body. When I check it, I don’t find any problem with his body. So, I ask Doctor Jun Zhan about her. We agree to the CT Scan and the blood test. Of course, nothing serious appeared on the CT Scan’s result. But when we saw his blood test, we immediately understand the pain. He just wants some Demerol. That is why he acts like that.” Yu Qi shortened the long story.

”Oh, that is why the police came. I remember that our hospital has a policy that we should call the police if we came in contact with this kind of case.” Doctor Que Shie nodded.

”Well, guys, I need to go now. See you later.” Yu Qi said.

”Okay.”

.....

”Have you leaked the information?” Guang Tin Song asked.

”I did, Sir.” The subordinate nodded.

”Then, why is there no movement from his side?” Guang Tin Song asked.

”I don’t know, Sir.” The subordinate said.

”Useless! Get lost now.” Guang Tin Song threw the glass.

The subordinate quickly ran away. Luckily for him, the glass did not hit any part of his body. The glass fell on the ground and broke.

Guang Tin Song was furious. He lost about three orders yesterday because of Nie Feng La. How could he did not get mad about that? Each order was worth about 20 million. That was a lot of money.

Recently, Nie Feng La interrupted his business a lot. It seemed Nie Feng La targeted him right now. Not to mention, the mysterious Mr Black also getting on his nerve recently. He felt that they had collaborated.

It seemed he needed to speed his plan. He could not wait any longer. If he waited any longer, he would be suppressed by that brat. Using someone’s hand to deal with Nie Feng La was not working. He needed another plan.

”You look angry?” Fung Meng Xuan came and sat beside Guang Tin Song.

”That brat... He interrupted my business.” Guang Tin Song said.

”Oh... He...” Fung Meng Xuan knew who Guang Tin Song meant. Since Guang Tin Song always paid more attention to him. ”So, what happened?”

”That brat stole my order yesterday.” Guang Tin Song could not help to feel angry about that.

Losing the order, was bad for Guang Tin Song. Fung Meng Xuan understood that too. No wonder Guang Tin Song looked very angry.

”I told you... Using his weakness.” Fung Meng Xuan said.

”Weakness... ” Guang Tin Song frowned.
