Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

Yu Qi was doing her routine when suddenly the ambulance came and brought in someone. The patient was accompanied by another two people. Man and woman.

Yu Qi rushed to take a look.

It was actually Xi Naine, the girl that Yu Qi diagnosed her as pregnant. However, her mother could not accept the fact and left with her daughter. But right now, Xi Naine was taken to the hospital with her lower body full of blood.

”Bring her to the examination ASAP.” Yu Qi shouted.

The nurses rushed to take Xi Naine to an empty examination room. The couple wanted to follow in but the nurses stopped the couple.

”I want to be with my daughter.” The woman said while crying.

”I am sorry, Madam. You are not allowed to be in this room.” The nurse said.

”But...” The woman wanted to protest.

However, her husband stopped his wife. ”Be quiet! Just let the doctor do their work.”

When the woman heard the order from her husband, she stopped struggling to enter the room.

Yu Qi’s first assumption turned out to be true. Xi Naine probably tried to make the abortion in an unlicensed facility but ended up in this state. The only method that could save this girl’s life right now was to remove her uterus completely. She would not be pregnant anymore in the future. Otherwise, this girl would lose his life.

”Prepare to take this girl to the operating theatre. I will go outside and explain to her parent about this.” Yu Qi said.

So, she went out and saw the worried parent waiting outside the room.

”Doctor, how about my daughter?” Madam Xi asked.

”She is in a critical condition. She needed to be operated on. In order to save her life, her uterus needs to be completely removed from her body.” Yu Qi explained.

”What? Then... then... she could not be pregnant in the future?” Madam Xi was shocked.

”Yes. I am afraid that she could not pregnant in the future.” Yu Qi said.

”No... no... It can’t be.” Madam Xi shook her head while crying.

”Save my daughter, Doctor.” Mr Xi said calmly.

”Then, my daughter can’t be pregnant in the future.” Madam Xi said.

”She will die then! That is what you really want?” Mr Xi shouted at his wife.

Madam Xi went silent. Then she said, ”Please save my daughter.”

It seemed they finally reached one agreement.

”Please sign this paper and give it to the nurse here. I will go and prepare for the surgery.” Yu Qi said and left the couple.

Mr Xi signed the agreement and gave it back to the nurse. The nurse showed them where the operating theatre was. The couple sat down at the chair there waiting for the surgery to be completed.

Yu Qi prepared for the surgery. The other doctors did not have any objection to making Yu Qi the chief surgeon. She already showed them her ability. Some of them might think that she was way better than them.

Yu Qi wanted to finish the surgery as soon as possible. The surgery went smoothly. The ones who accompanied Yu Qi were fascinating with her smooth and quick operating. The time for the surgery was half of the original usual time.

Yu Qi saved the girl’s life. The girl had been pushed out from the operating theatre to a wad for further observation.

The couple thanked Yu Qi. Yu Qi just smiled and left. On the way to her office, she met with Wei Ying. It was her first time meeting with Wei Ying after the incident. Wei Ying ended up taking a week leave. At first, the head department rejected her application. So, Yu Qi told the reason why Wei Ying took a week off. The head of the department immediately accepted her leave.

The head department even asked Yu Qi if she also wanted to take some days off since she was the main victim in the case. Yu Qi shook her head as she told him that she was fine. And she was hoping that the head department did not tell everyone about this.

”Doctor Yu Qi, long time no see.” Wei Ying greeted Yu Qi.

”Are you okay right now?”Yu Qi asked.

”Yes. Thank you for your help when I want to apply for the leave.” Wei Ying bowed.

”Never mind. You get terrified because of me. I should give some help to you.” Yu Qi smiled.

”What happened to the case? Did the police find the culprit?” Wei Ying asked.

”I am afraid not yet.” Yu Qi shook her head.

”Meaning it could happen again.” Wei Ying asked.

”Don’t worry. Our hospital is improving their level of security.” Yu Qi smiled.

Her family was terrified when hearing that she had been kidnapped in their territory. They were working to increase the security inside the hospital and around the hospital so that the incident would be prevented.

”Do you tell your family about the incident?” Yu Qi asked.

”No.” Wei Ying quickly shook her head.

”Why?” Yu Qi asked.

”They would not let me continue working here after knowing the incident. I don’t want that to happen.” Wei Ying really did not want that to happen.

”Oh, you must really want to work here. Is it because of Doctor Pei Ruiying, right?” Yu Qi whispered to Wei Ying’s ear.

Wei Ying immediately went to blush. It was actually one of the reasons. She wanted to work here because she worked so hard to get into this hospital. Only the chosen one could work here. How could she leave this hospital?
