Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 1906: Chapter 1497: He’s Not Someone We Can Afford to Offend

If Mo Chengju really leads the way in leaving, it would be a rallying call. Those responding now are just from R&D, but when the news spreads, it might cause a massive upheaval within the company’s core, even triggering a resignation wave.

Should that happen, Cangyun Pharmaceuticals would suffer significantly, or even face crippling damage!

Therefore, Gou Dahou made a fierce statement, threatening everyone present.

Dare to leave?

The company will sue you until you have no way to go!

You won’t even have food to eat!

Compared to before, Gou Dahou instantly turned from agitated to ruthless.

He was quite smooth in making this threat!

This was likely not an impulsive decision but came from his father’s instructions. Perhaps, Gou Dahou’s father had told him these words from the start.

These words are actually more suitable for private conversations, directed at a key figure who insists on leaving but can’t be retained. It’s the purest and most blunt threat!

Now that the situation has worsened, Gou Dahou’s intuition made him openly threaten everyone with these words!

If you leave, not only will you not receive your salaries, compensation, or resignation proof, but Cangyun Pharmaceuticals will also widely issue notices within the industry, informing peers to impose a non-compete clause on you! Any company daring to hire you will face endless litigation risks! See if they still dare or are willing to!

Cangyun Pharmaceuticals ranks in the top ten in the industry, a true industry leader. If they are determined to pursue litigation, let’s see who would dare employ those in R&D!

The moment R&D personnel resign today, they face complete unemployment, unable to find work, unable to support their families!

For a moment, everyone turned pale.

”Are you talking about non-compete, Gou Dahou!” shouted Mo Chengju, ”It seems you don’t understand the law! Let me educate you a bit!”

”In Huaxia’s law, there’s no clear restriction on the targets of a non-compete clause. The employment parties voluntarily sign the non-compete agreement,” reminded Mo Chengju, ”These people haven’t signed anything like that!”

”Furthermore, whether a non-compete is legal and valid depends on whether it harms the basic living interests of employees! The company must offer economic compensation for employee non-compete actions, and the agreement must state the compensation amount and payment method! Otherwise, it’s invalid!”

”These too are missing!”

Mo Chengju launched the strongest counterattack at Gou Dahou, ”No contractual constraints, no economic compensation, using non-compete to threaten them, isn’t it ridiculous!”

Gou Dahou was left speechless by the rebuttal, his face turning sullen.

The researchers’ spirits were immediately lifted.

On the video, Gou Dahou’s father spoke up at this moment.

”Mo Chengju, ah Mo Chengju! If it were them saying these things, I’d let it slide. But you, how can you be so naive!”

Boss Gou sneered, wearing a contemptuous expression, ”Do I need to sign any contracts or agreements with them? I don’t need to!”

”I have plenty of money and can hire any team of lawyers! I will pursue legal action! Anyone who dares to employ them becomes my enemy!”

Boss Gou sneered again and asked, ”Do you think people in the circle would offend me, Gou, for their sake!”

Gou Dahou’s father, real name Gou Youting, is a well-connected figure in both business and politics.

At this moment, he completely dropped his facade, revealing his ruthless side without fear.

Gou Dahou suddenly seemed enlightened, his eyes shining, and a satisfied smile reappeared on his face.

Even Qian Bei beside him was smiling as well.

The researchers were visibly angry, their faces turning pale and blue.

Mo Chengju looked at Gou Dahou, then at the man he had followed for ten years on Gou Dahou’s phone video. Suddenly, he recalled when he first entered the workplace, following an old employee he called ”Master.” Even today, many of Mo Chengju’s habits are influenced by that ”Master.”

That ”Master” suddenly left one day, saying to him a phrase Mo Chengju initially didn’t understand, later comprehended, but took ten years to appreciate its depth—

”In the workplace, you need to be a rogue. Otherwise, you’ll be played by a rogue!”

Mo Chengju always felt those words were excessive.

But today, he truly understood what it means to play rogue in the workplace.

Big figures playing rogue with minor employees!

You reason with him, he talks to you about rules; you talk to him about the law, he talks to you about the power of money.

Making you realize who’s stronger with fists!

Even through normal channels, they have the power to disturb your life thoroughly, leaving no peace!

Faced with Gou Youting’s blatant rogue behavior, Mo Chengju was so furious, his face turned blue and his hands trembled.

Yet, he was utterly helpless.

Even though the Mo Family is quite influential locally, they are no match for Gou Youting.

Even if Mo Chengju wanted to ask his family for help, they couldn’t accommodate so many Western medicine researchers, nor could they allow them to utilize their talents, bringing endless trouble to the Mo Family.

”Gou Youting!” Mo Chengju took the cigarette from his mouth, feeling his hair stand on end, gritting his teeth, ”Do you really have to be so ruthless! If anything, come at me!”

Mo Chengju wished to take all the blame alone, not wanting to implicate others.

Gou Youting in the video sneered, seemingly finding Mo Chengju increasingly naive and laughable, disdainfully ignoring a response.

”We understand non-compete too. You’re not following legal procedures at all...this is despicable!”

”How can you act like this! Are you trying to bind us all here tightly?”

”What kind of company have I even joined!”

The researchers angrily voiced their frustration, their anger filled with helplessness.
