War Sovereign Soaring The Heavens

The Sect Leader of the Luo River Sect, also the Heavenly Emperor of the Luo River Heaven, had a pair of twin daughters. One of them was the Saint Girl of the Luo River Sect, and the other was the soul who possessed Mu Yi Yi.

When the Heavenly Emperor of the Luo River Heaven gave birth, the younger twin’s chances of surviving were incredibly low due to her physical disabilities. For that reason, the Heavenly Emperor of the Luo River Heaven forcibly extracted her youngest daughter’s soul before letting it take shelter in her eldest daughter’s body. Hence, many people thought she only had one daughter.

This was, naturally, just a temporary measure. After all, the Heavenly Emperor of the Luo River Heaven loved both of her daughters equally; how could she allow her youngest daughter to take possession of her eldest daughter’s body? Since long ago, she had planned to look for a suitable body for her youngest daughter.

Alas, many years passed, but the Heavenly Emperor of the Luo River Heaven still did not find a suitable body. It was only when Mu Yi Yi joined the Luo River Sect 100 years ago, that she discovered the perfect vassal for her youngest daughter. It was also for this reason that the Saint Girl of the Luo River Sect accepted Mu Yi Yi as a disciple. The clueless disciples of the Luo River Sect were envious at that time because the Saint Girl had never accepted a disciple before.

Although the Heavenly Emperor of the Luo River Heaven was the Sect Leader of the Luo River Sect, most of the sect’s affairs were handled by the Saint Girl of the sect. Therefore, the Saint Girl was only second to the Sect Leader in the sect. Even the titled Celestial Emperors of the sect had to listen to her orders.

Mu Yi Yi was naturally unaware of the Saint Girl’s intention to let her younger twin sister possess her body. In order to avoid suspicion, the Saint Girl treated her exceptionally well. After gaining her trust, the Saint Girl cast a spell on her when she let her guard down, allowing the Saint Girl’s twin sister to possess her. She did not even have time to retaliate.

The name of the Saint Girl of the Luo River Sect was Feng Jian Yu, and her younger twin sister was called Feng Jian Xue.

‘I just need another ten years to completely take over her body, soul, and memories!’ Feng Jian Xue thought to herself anxiously. She really regretted letting Mu Yi Yi’s memories overwhelm her for a moment, resulting in her meeting Duan Ling Tian. She did not expect to be knocked unconscious and kidnapped to an unfamiliar place.

When Feng Jian Xue saw Mo He, the Profound Soul Celestial Emperor, she could tell Mo He was incredibly strong. His soul energy had almost crushed her soul before it even swept over her. Although her eldest twin sister was a titled Celestial Emperor, Feng Jian Xue who was only taking shelter in her sister’s body was naturally not strong. Feng Jian Yu was a Nine Palaces Celestial Emperor, but she was only a Ten Directions Celestial Lord. The difference between the strength of the twin sisters was like a chasm.

At this time, Duan Ling Tian was finally certain his junior sister was possessed. As his junior sister and the successor of the Prophet Progeny in the Seven Absolutes Sect, he naturally would not allow any harm to come to her. Moreover, it was his fault that she was kidnapped to the Divine Offering Land and fell prey to the Luo River Sect later on. It was because of the change in her constitution and innate talent after being in the Divine Offering Realm that she was chosen to be possessed by Feng Jian Xue.

Feng Jian Xue took a deep breath to calm down before she said, “Duan Ling Tian, my possession of Mu Yi Yi is nearly complete. Even if I leave her body now, it won’t be without side effects for her. In fact, her brain might be damaged. If you let me go and send me back to the Luo River Sect, I’ll let this matter slide. Otherwise, it’d be too late for you when my mother and eldest sister come looking for me. Before I met you, I’d informed my eldest sister about it. I even told her that you’re Mu Yi Yi’s senior brother in the Saint Province Realm’s Seven Absolutes Sect…” Her tone grew threatening nearing the end of her words.

Duan Ling Tian looked at Mo He and asked skeptically, “Is it really impossible for my junior sister to regain control of her body without any side effects? Is it true that her brain might be damaged?”

Mo He nodded with a grim expression on his face. “She’s telling the truth. The possession is almost complete, and she has worn down the original soul a lot. Therefore, there’ll be many side effects when the incomplete soul of your junior sister regains control of her body. It’s impossible for her to return to the way she was…”

Duan Ling Tian’s expression darkened. His eyes glinted coldly as he asked, “What if my junior sister devours the soul that’s possessing her?”

As soon as Duan Ling Tian’s voice fell, Feng Jian Xue laughed. “It won’t work. Not only is she incapable of such a feat, but even if she’s capable, I won’t allow her to succeed. Duan Ling Tian, your only option is to send me back to the Luo River Sect. I promise I’ll let this matter go. In fact, for Mu Yi Yi’s sake, it’s not impossible for me to maintain a friendly relationship with you. My mother is the Heavenly Emperor of the Luo River Heaven, and my sister is the Saint Girl of the Luo River Sect; if you need help in the future, you can look for me! You should consider yourself lucky for being able to meet someone like me! Ordinary people can only dream about it!”

Feng Jian Xue looked at Duan Ling Tian arrogantly; she grew more and more confident as she spoke. Naturally, all her words were lies. She planned to have Duan Ling Tian killed when he returned her to the Luo River Heaven. She knew she was no longer in the Luo River Heaven because she had tried to send a message to her eldest sister and her mother but did not receive a response.

‘Junior Sister Mu Yi Yi…’ Duan Ling Tian’s expression turned unsightly. He had been delighted to hear his junior sister was alive; he did not expect her to be in a state worse than death. Moreover, there was nothing he could do to help her. Even Mo He, whose ability was acknowledged by Elder Huo, was helpless. After a moment, he asked Mo He through Voice Transmission, “Is it truly impossible to save her?”

“Yes, Young Master. This is because of the irreversible damage on her soul,” Mo He replied.

“Alright,” Duan Ling Tian responded. He looked at Feng Jian Xue and slowly said, “It doesn’t matter if it’s impossible to return my junior sister to her original state. Annihilate the soul possessing her. Even if my junior sister suffers from the side effects, at least she’ll still be alive!”

“Duan Ling Tian!” Feng Jian Xue’s expression changed drastically. “Do you know what you’re doing? You’re really going to kill the beloved daughter of the Heavenly Emperor of the Luo River Heaven? If you kill me, not only you, but the people around you are doomed!”

Mo He smiled bitterly as he said, “Young Master, is it necessary to take such drastic measures? If she’s telling the truth…”

In Mo He’s opinion, it was an act of madness to kill the daughter of the Heavenly Emperor of the Luo River Heaven. Although the Heavenly Emperor of the Luo River Heaven was no match for Feng Qing Yang, it was still best to avoid trouble if necessary.

Duan Ling Tian said decisively, “Senior Mo He, don’t worry. Just do as I say. Let Elder Huo bear witness that I’ll shoulder all the consequences for this…”

Elder Huo said to Mo He, “Make a move. The Heavenly Emperor of the Luo River Heaven is nothing. Even if she knows the Young Master is behind this, there’s nothing she can do about it.”

Upon hearing Elder Huo’s words, Mo He no longer hesitated. A formidable soul energy shot into Mu Yi Yi’s body, causing her face to distort in fear and anger. She cried out wretchedly, sending chills running up everyone’s spines, before she asked with great difficulty, “D-duan Ling Tian, who… who are you?”

Based on Elder Huo’s words, Feng Jian Xue realized she had underestimated Duan Ling Tian. After all, her memories of him from Mu Yi Yi were from their time in the Saint Province Realm.

Before Duan Ling Tian replied, Elder Huo said tonelessly, “What do you think? We’re in the Heavenly Palace of the Solitary Destructive Heaven. Our Young Master is our Lord Heavenly Emperor’s only true disciple!”
