War Sovereign Soaring The Heavens

Duan Ling Tian briefly summarized his mother’s experience in response to Shiva Nu’s question.

Shiva Nu said furiously, “This Smudge Crow Sect is utterly devoid of conscience! If all the major sects in the Purple Revelation Heaven are like them, the Purple Revelation Heaven would be doomed. This kind of sect shouldn’t exist!” Then, he looked at Duan Ling Tian and said righteously, “Young Master, just say the word and I’ll annihilate the Smudge Crow Sect on your behalf!”

“There is no need to use a hammer to kill an ant. My mother can handle it,” Duan Ling Tian said with a faint smile.

…

After waiting for another day and night, Duan Ling Tian finally saw Li Rou and Huan’er.

At this moment, Huan’er was supporting Li Rou who wore a dark expression on her face. Although the Smudge Crow Sect had been destroyed, she was not happy at all.

A group of women, ranging from young to old, followed behind Lu Rou. Most of their eyes were red, speaking of the grievances they had suffered.

“Tian’er,” Li Rou said when she arrived in front of Duan Ling Tian, “I’d like to send them back to the Elegant Sect before leaving with you. Can you think of a way to protect them after our departure? All the powerhouses from the Elegant Sect have perished; it would be tough for the sect even if I’m around…”

“Elder Li Rou!”

Before Duan Ling Tian could reply, a group of Elegant Sect disciples fell to their knees and said in unison, “Please return and stay in the Elegant Sect to lead us!”

Although they knew Li Rou’s strength was not strong enough to protect the Elegant Sect, they had witnessed Huan’er’s strength. In their opinion, if Li Rou stayed, Huan’er would stay as well. With the protection of someone like Huan’er, the Elegant Sect would definitely be better than before.

Li Rou said gently but firmly, “Don’t worry. Before I leave, I’ll make sure the sect is well-protected. I won’t let any of you be bullied or wronged again!” However, a frown appeared on her face as she continued to say, “I’ve already told you I can no longer stay in the Elegant Sect. As for Huan’er, it’s even more impossible for her to do so…”

The group of Elegant Sect disciples could detect a hint of impatience in Li Rou’s tone so they wisely remained silent. Even if there were other elders from the sect present who were stronger than Li Rou, there was nothing they could do to force Li Rou to stay. After all, the peerless beauty next to Li Rou was so powerful that it was beyond their imaginations. They had seen how the Celestial Lord from the Smudge Crow Sect could not even withstand a blow from Huan’er before he died.

At this time, Duan Ling Tian smiled faintly before he said reassuringly, “Mother, I know what to do…”

Following that, Duan Ling Tian and the others accompanied Li Rou to escort the members of the Elegant Sect back to the sect’s estate.

After everything was dealt with, before they left, Li Rou looked at the Elegant Sect’s estate with a hint of reluctance. “Tian’er, they…”

Since Duan Ling Tian had not told Li Rou about his plan to protect the Elegant Sect after their departure, she could not help but worry. Moreover, to leave after escorting them back to the sect felt like she was abandoning them.

“Mother, we’ll visit the Heavenly Palace of the Purple Revelation Heaven with Senior Shivan Nu before I deal with the matters of the Elegant Sect,” Duan Ling Tian said with a smile. Following that, he sent his mother a Voice Transmission and continued to say, “Mother, I plan to ask for a favor from the Heavenly Emperor of the Purple Revelation Heaven; I’ll ask him to look after the Elegant Sect. I know the sect means a lot to you so I won’t just abandon the sect…”

Although Duan Ling Tian was grateful to the Elegant Sect for taking care of his mother during his absence, he knew they could not stay for long. Even if his mother and Huan’er could stay, it would only attract trouble. The best solution was to ask for a favor from the Tatoo, the Heavenly Emperor of the Purple Revelation Heaven, to look after the sect after their departure. This was the only reason he had accepted Shiva Nu’s invitation to visit the Heavenly Palace of the Purple Revelation Heaven and to meet Tatoo.

Although Feng Qing Yang was much stronger than Tatoo, the Purple Revelation Heaven was not the Solitary Destructive Heaven. It was only natural that Tatoo had a bigger influence here. For this reason, he decided to meet Tatoo.

…

When the group arrived near the Heavenly Palace of the Purple Revelation Heaven, Shiva Ping said, “Eldest brother, I’ll take my leave first.”

Shiva Ping did not even spare Duan Ling Tian and the others a glance before he made his way to the nearest transportation site. No one noticed the greed flashing in his eyes.

…

The Heavenly Palace of the Purple Revelation Heaven was located high up in the sky among the clouds above a desert. From afar, it was shaped like a huge crouching beast.

“Lord Nu!”

As soon as they arrived at the gates of the Heavenly Palace, everyone they encountered greeted Shiva Nu respectfully. This treatment was not surprising since Shiva Nu was the strongest titled Celestial Emperor after the Heavenly Emperor of the Purple Revelation Heaven. His position was similar to Meng Luo’s position in the Heavenly Palace of the Solitary Destructive Heaven. In the absence of the Heavenly Emperor of the Purple Revelation Heaven, Shiva Nu would be in charge.

“Our Lord Heaven Emperor lives in the mountain valley over there.” Shiva Nu pointed at a huge floating island that was like a world of its own as he led Duan Ling Tian and the others to the eastern side of the island.

Currently, Duan Ru Feng, Li Rou, and Huan’er had already returned to Duan Ling Tian’s Little World. Only Elder Huo remained outside to accompany Duan Ling Tian.

As soon as they stepped foot into the valley, a burst of laughter rang in the air.

“Elder Huo, it’s been a while since we last met!”

Duan Ling Tian saw a courtyard up ahead. A tall and muscular old man who was 1.9 meters tall could be seen standing outside at this time. His hair was cropped close to his head, and what could be seen of them was greyish-white. He was dressed in a luxurious golden robe that would be considered tacky back on earth.

‘So this must be Tatoo, the Heavenly Emperor of the Purple Revelation Heaven. Otherwise known as the Great Origin Celestial Emperor?’ During their journey here, Duan Ling Tian had learned a little about Tatoo from Elder Huo.

“Lord Tatoo,” Elder Huo greeted Tatoo with the respect he was due before he introduced Duan Ling Tian to Tatoo.

“Greetings, Heavenly Emperor Tatoo…” Duan Ling Tian said with a bow.

Tattoo said with a smile, “There’s no need for you to be so formal. After all, you can be considered as my junior nephew since your Heavenly Emperor Feng Qing Yang’s true disciple. You can just refer to me as Junior Uncle if you don’t mind.”

Although Duan Ling Tian knew Tatoo was trying to curry favor with him because of Feng Qing Yang, he obliged and called out, “Junior Uncle…”

“Junior Nephew Duan, since this is the first time we meet, I should prepare a meeting gift for you. However, as Heavenly Emperor Feng Qing Yang’s true disciple, I’m sure you lack nothing. Therefore, I shouldn’t embarrass myself by giving you material items. Instead, I’ll give you my word. If there’s anything you need help with in the future, just say the word, and I’ll do what I can.”

Tatoo’s generosity shocked even Shiva Nu. Regardless of Tatoo’s strength in comparison to other Heavenly Emperors, he was still a Heavenly Emperor who ruled a Devata Realm, after all.

Upon hearing Tatoo’s words, Duan Ling Tian’s lit up immediately. Since Tatoo himself mentioned this, he said without beating around the bush, “Junior Uncle Tatoo, to be honest, there’s something that I need your help with…”

“Hm?” Tatoo was stunned. He did not expect Duan Ling Tian would have something to ask from him so quickly. He could not help but smile bitterly as he thought to himself, ‘Although I’m nowhere as powerful as your master, my words still hold weight. Are you really going to use it so easily?’

Duan Ling Tian knew what was going through Tatoo’s mind so he shook his head and said, “Junior Uncle Tatoo, please don’t misunderstand me. It’s not that I take your promise lightly, but only you can help me with this matter…”

“Hmm?” Tatoo looked at Duan Ling Tian with a hint of curiosity. “It seems like I’ve misunderstood you. What is it that you need my help with?”

Duan Ling Tian’s expression turned solemn as he said, “Junior Uncle Tatoo, my mother…”

Tatoo listened as Duan Ling Tian explained what had happened. In the end, Duan Ling Tian said, “Although the Elegant Sect is just a mere seventh-grade sect, my mother was there for some time, and she cares about the sect’s future. At present, the sect isn’t strong enough to protect itself. Therefore, I hope Junior Uncle Tatoo will warn the other sects and clans to stay away from the Elegant Sect to ensure the sect’s safety. There’s no need to raise the strength of the sect or anything like that. As long as the sect is safe, that’s more than enough…”

Although Duan Ling Tian could easily intimidate the forces around the Elegant Sect to stop them from harassing the Elegant Sect, the effect of the intimidation would not last for long since he would not be in the Purple Revelation Heaven. It would be much more effective for Tatoo, the Heavenly Emperor of the Purple Revelation Heaven, to take action.

“Is that all?” Tatoo, who had been expecting Duan Ling Tian to ask for a huge favor, was dumbfounded when he heard Duan Ling Tian’s request. In the end, he said, “Junior Nephew Duan, there’s no need for you to waste my promise on such a small request…”
