Emperor’s Domination

The hand exploded again into liquid currents, slamming against the ground and rolling several times.

“Little bastard, you dare hit the high heaven?!” It reformed into a humanoid shape and yelled.

“It would be nice if you were the high heaven so I can stomp on you.” Li Qiye shook his head.

Lightning from everywhere in the walls and ground finally came together to form a woman.

“Crackle!” Arcs drifted around her like flowing ribbons.

She was tall and slender with brilliant features, adorned with azure armor. She appeared to be the high heaven’s daughter with the firmament making up her body, the sun and moon as her face. The mortal world couldn’t bear her presence.

“Little bastard, getting bolder and bolder.” She glared at him.

“Congratulations, you’re finally out, this is the wonder of life.” Li Qiye assessed her and said.

“As if I need you to tell me this, little swindler.” She sneered.

“Little swindler and little bastard, am I that little?” He chuckled.

“Doesn’t matter how big you are now, I know how little you were.” She said: “Just a deceiving thief once, using every trick in the book.”

“All I had were my words then, not tricks. Perhaps it is a sin to be on the side of logic.” Li Qiye said.

“All you wanted to do was to sneak a peek.” She snorted.

“That’s an ambiguous and misleading statement. I never tried to sneak a peek at you, this is slanderous.” He replied.

“Bah, I dare you to try, I’d gouge out your eyes.” She turned slightly red.

“I know, I know, I only wanted to know more about the villainous heaven.” He shook his head.

“Why do I call you a little bastard? Because you only do business that costs you nothing. But, since this young lady is magnanimous, I will forgive your past transgressions.” She said: “Since you’ve come all this way to see me, did you bring anything good?”

“Young Lady, the truth is that I didn’t come to see you. I didn’t expect you to be here in the first place.” He said.

“How heartless, didn’t even bring me a bite to eat despite our past.” She glared at him.

“What past?” Li Qiye didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

“You took advantage of me then, rubbing my body.” She smiled.

“Let’s get this right, you were runes then.” Li Qiye denied.

“So you did rub my body.” She insisted.

“Sigh, must you push it so far?” Li Qiye shook his head.

“Forget it, I won’t lower myself to argue with you. Whatever, I got some food and drink. Since you’ve taken so much from me, what’s a little more?” She waved and the scenery changed.

The abyss turned into a divine peak with a tea table and chairs. She prepared delicacies and pastries, prepared with the utmost refinement and elegance.

He sat down and observed her preparation with great enjoyment. She handled everything with perfect precision, whether it was brewing the tea or performing another task. Each movement was flawless and fluid, like drifting clouds and running water.

Watching her was a supreme pleasure. When she poured the tea, the myriad laws resonated together in seamless harmony. All were natural and perfectly timed.

“My lord, please have some tea.” She served him a cup with a radiant smile, blinking once.

“You have the essence of heaven and earth. Harmony is how I would describe your actions.” He received the cup with both hands and praised.

“Want the heaven and earth to serve you? The audacity.” She glared at him - a stark contrast to her sweet smile but neither was out of place.

“Of course not.” He shook his head, blowing on the hot tea before drinking.

With that, he sighed and said: “Everyone knows about your fighting prowess, how many know how good your tea is?”

“Are you satisfied with your maid’s service, my lord?” She joked.

“Of course, very satisfied.” He smiled.

“Get lost, who wants to serve you?” She kicked him while laughing.

“It’s nice being an emperor, or rather, being human.” He said.

“I’m always happy. The dao isn’t a bitter pursuit for me like it is for you, it’s effortless.” She said.

“Yes, yes.” He nodded.

“Don’t believe me?” She glared at him.

“I do, who doesn’t know Immortal Assailant Emperor is the greatest, even better than that guy named Prime.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Of course, you suffered before entering your title, so many humiliating defeats to earn a little fame. On the other hand, I was on top since my debut.” She said.

“That’s why they called you the heaven’s daughter.” He said.

“Bah, I am me, not the heaven’s daughter.” She said.

“Don’t like that title?” He smiled.

“I don’t need the high heaven’s blessing or protection, my dao of freedom is one and only.” She said.

“Yes, it was a one-of-a-kind breakthrough, far surpassing Prime Emperor.” Li Qiye said.

“Naturally.” She looked a little smug as she said: “I ended your era, no one remembered you after me, whether it be you as Prime Emperor or Dark Crow.”

“That’s a good thing since it’s not exactly a glorious title.” Li Qiye smiled.

“See, I did you a favor then, like a cute daughter.” She winked at him.
