Emperor’s Domination

“Crackle!” The half-arc launched an onslaught against the missing space. It eventually became liquid from the sheer density, not slowing down any time soon.

This was Heavencrush’s goal, crushing the unknown space to reveal the entrance to the dao court.

Sure enough, the empty space twisted as more lightning liquid surrounded it. If this continued, there would be a hole in Dusk Realm, a catalyst for destruction in the blink of an eye. Everything would be pulled into this singularity.

“This is bad.” Immortals felt the pull growing stronger and stronger; their physical forms twisted into countless threads toward the concave point.

However, Ash-serpent and Immortal Bronze didn’t give up.

“Boom!” After being stretched to the limit, the spatial surface snapped back into place. This repelled the lightning liquid in all directions.

A wall made from an unknown material appeared before Heavencrush. It resembled iron or black porcelain but was neither. It somehow absorbed the lightning liquid and sent it back to the machine. Nonetheless, it was sent flying and took a long while before stabilizing.

Only feeble crackles remained after the blast. Everyone heaved a sigh of relief because that could have been the end of Dusk Realm.

“Still not open.” Ash-serpent and Immortal Bronze didn’t like this development.

They knew the exact location of the dao court now. The problem was opening it.

Spectators remained calm after the fact. They realized after watching Heavencrush that opening the dao court was impossible for them. Heavencrush seemed to be the only hope and they didn’t wish to distract it.

“Rumble!” They saw the plates and gears spinning again. More red rays blossomed from within through the intricate gaps.

“Crack!” It produced another machine like a hen laying an egg to everyone’s astonishment.

However, an egg was smaller than a hen. In this case, the new machine was more than a hundred times larger than Heavencrush.
