Emperor’s Domination

“A golden immortal.” A few immortals recognized the fortress and its pillars.

“Golden Machine Immortal, Gubu.” An immortal from Heavenly Fortress said.

“That’s the master of the fortress?” Someone asked.

“No, it’s the fortress itself.” The immortal said.

The crowd had little understanding of the fortress race and was curious about this existence. There was no lack of unique races in Heavenrealm. However, the fortress race had great success in cultivation and kept a low profile.

“What’s in the fortress?” Another immortal couldn’t help but ask.

“Rumble!” The pillars continued to push deeper into the ground.

“Don’t they have seven or eight phenomena? Why come here?” Someone questioned.

“There’s nothing in them.” An immortal said.

After arriving in Dusk, everyone thought they would be able to find treasures or even the source in the areas with special visions and illusions. Some fought each other to monopolize these sights.

Alas, they eventually came to find these places were all empty. Now, they started excavating the land instead.

The fortress race was the first to appear in Dusk. Thus, others paid attention to their movement.

“These immortals are the first to come to Heavenfall Path and Dusk Realm. As far as I know, their Heavencrush Machine has found Heavenfall’s celestial source, maybe they know more about Dusk.” Someone speculated.

“There’s something about this place.” A few immortals discussed among themselves.

After all, a golden immortal could create craters with their fingers. Now, these pillars were being hammered into the ground at a snail’s pace.

“Crack!” Cracks appeared on the ground while Mo Xiangsheng and Ye Fantian were as nervous as could be.

Faint aura strands finally emanated and dispersed into the air. When a grass absorbed a single strand, it became a massive vine drilling into space, large enough to be surrounded by stars.

“This energy!” An immortal shouted.

“Boom!” Despite growing into a colossal vine, it still couldn’t endure the energy and exploded, sending shockwaves strong enough to move immortals.

“Immortal power, there might be a treasure down there!” Someone shouted.

Everyone became eager to try but was afraid of the golden machine.

Mo Xiangsheng then noticed a particular immortal wearing an amethyst-colored robe and riding a cloud. His body seemed to be made of amethyst as well, seemingly far stronger than the rest.

“Amethyst Immortal!” Mo Xiangsheng happily went to him and requested: “Senior, please take action.”

“Take action?” He frowned upon seeing the unknown overlord.

“I am a member of Amethyst Alliance.” Mo Xiangsheng whispered: “Senior, I’ll tell you a secret, the celestial source is right beneath here. Don’t let the fortress race get it.”

“Ce-” He nearly blurted it out: “Really?”

“Yes, I swear it with my life.” Mo Xiangsheng said, having no other choice. At the very least, this would buy a little time.

Amethyst became motivated and took one step forward, sending a crashing energy wave forward.

“Fellow Daoist, this is the home of a member of our alliance, please do not destroy it.” Amethyst requested.

The truth didn’t matter since he had enough power to influence the situation.

“Yes, there’s something nice down there.” Other immortals became certain.
