Emperor’s Domination

“Very well, I am in need of a foot-washing maid and can take you in temporarily.” Li Qiye finally stopped drinking tea and stared at Dragon Ancestor.

The response took everyone by surprise.

“What are you waiting for? Show your gratitude to the young noble.” Xiaoyue pulled her hand back.

Dragon Ancestor stood pale and silent. As an ancient ancestor, she loomed above Beastmaster World. Now, to be taken in as a maid was utterly humiliating.

“Don’t want to?” Xiaoyue glared at her.

“Death before dishonor.” She took a deep breath and said.

Phoenix Emperor opened his mouth but only let out a sigh. This was not his place and more often than not, ancient ancestors valued their honor more than all else.

“It’s a good phrase, albeit not entirely correct.” Li Qiye said.

“That is how it is.” She maintained her course.

“You are thinking too highly of yourself.” Li Qiye said: “Cultivators are merciless killers, honor is the last thing they care about.”

This was indeed considered a noble quality – the resolve to die rather than submit. However, it only applied to the strong. They never cared about the feelings of mortals and weaker cultivators since they could wipe out billions with a wave of their hand.

Therefore, would an immortal care about their feelings? Why bother bringing it up?

The Dragon Ancestor had no response, as this was the truth.

“For cultivators, it would be best if immortals do not exist.” Li Qiye said: “But conversely, for mortals, it would be best if emperors and ancient ancestors do not exist.” Chapters first released on n͟o͟v͟e͟l͟f͟i͟r͟e͟.net

“Your fate is no longer your own. If the young noble doesn’t want you to die, you won’t die.” Xiaoyue said.

“!” Dragon Ancestor seemed to be struck by lightning. It seemed that even death wasn’t up to her.

“I can cripple your cultivation and then sell you back to the mortal world.” Xiaoyue said with a smile.

Alas, this smile terrified Dragon Ancestor since she took it seriously. To go from an ancient ancestor to a mortal would be a fate worse than death.

“Okay, stop scaring her. Becoming my maid is an honor but you may refuse.” Li Qiye shook his head.

Her color changed several times before she came over and bowed: “I wish to serve.”

“It’s a little chilly.” Li Qiye raised his feet.

She bowed and prepared a basin of warm water for his feet. In a sense, serving an immortal was a great honor and the greatest of fortune.

After all, this was a legendary immortal – a being that couldn’t be seen previously. Immortals and emperors operated under self-imposed arrogance but in reality, they were no different than anyone else when compared to immortals.

“What about him?” Xiaoyue glanced at Tiger Ancestor.

“Kill him, get Sky Zenith to bring their divine artifact here.” Li Qiye leaned back and enjoyed having a maid wash his legs.

Tiger Ancestor has been watching the entire time. The moment he heard this, he turned to flee. The thought of resisting never crossed his mind after witnessing Xiaoyue’s power.

He experienced the helplessness of regular cultivators and mortals. Living a borrowed life was better than dying an honorable death. He wished he could grow a pair of wings to fly faster.

“It’s too late now.” Xiaoyue smiled and pointed at the sky.

“Nooo!” He turned around and spat out a radiant treasure. It exploded thunderously, capable of blowing up the region.

This move could only be described as destructive, taking down many members of the crowd. Unfortunately, Li Qiye’s command decided his fate.

“Pop!” Her finger strike nullified the explosion and pierced his head.

He fell on an island with blood gushing out from the hole. This marked the end of an ancient ancestor, unable to block a single move.
