Emperor’s Domination

The girl slowly woke up.

“Sweetheart!” The lord shouted excitedly.

Alas, she stared at him as if he were a stranger despite their strong bond. This shocked him since she didn’t have this expression before.

“Sweetheart.” He repeated.

She paid no attention and dashed outside, moving on all four like an animal.

“Wait!” The lord hurriedly followed her but couldn’t catch up.

Xiaoyue waved, conjuring an invisible power to pursue the girl. She was as slow as a snail compared to the immortals.

“How is my daughter, Immortal?” The lord didn’t know what to do and asked Li Qiye.

“Let her go, we’ll see her state. Of course, some of this depends on you.” Li Qiye said.

“On me?” The lord asked.

“Love is a shackle. Enough love will make her want to stay, the warmth will make her heart want to maintain her human form.” Li Qiye said.

The lord didn’t know how to respond.

“Is being a fool the better option?” Xiaoyue asked.

“We’re not her, we don’t know what makes her happy.” Li Qiye said: “Perhaps you feel that being a fool, and a mortal one at that, is not worth mentioning, just a trash of an existence. How wretched, the mortals and their love, but love can change their world.”

“Love?” She paused for a moment.

“Immortal arts might not be able to heal an immortal’s heart but love can.” Li Qiye smiled.

“You are sure of this?” She stared at him skeptically.

“Yes, because I am a mortal.” Li Qiye smiled.

She had no response because this was true. She had never been a mortal before; she was destined for greatness since birth. Therefore, mortals were less than insects in her eyes.

The girl reached Azure Plain – a wild area full of towering peaks and bottomless chasms. The bestial auras of beasts could be felt everywhere.

This was the paradise for wild animals and heavenly beasts. Given the cultivation system of this world, cultivators also came searching for the right beast.

One could find all levels of beasts here: lesser, greater, savage, ferocious, general, king, emperor, and even ancestor.

Rumor has it there was a living divine beast here. None had seen it before and attributed this to be a mere legend. Of course, who could tame it? Perhaps only Yudi of Sky Zenith. He was the strongest ancestor of Beastmaster, potentially already having a pact with one.

Thus, Azure Plain was full of potential but also dangers. The animals here were ferocious and had no love for intruders.

Long ago, Immortal Emperor Qing He pitied them. To avoid a massacre, she started a pact system between cultivators and heavenly beasts.

Not all heavenly beasts accepted this fate and hid here in Azure Plain. These were immensely strong; regular cultivators stood no chance against them.

The farther into the plain, the more dangerous. Thus, the lord worried for his daughter who was surging deeper into the plain. What if she were to meet a mighty beast?

However, he remembered there were two immortals next to him. Even the legendary divine beast couldn’t stop them.

Given her lightning speed, it didn’t take long before she made it to a remote location and suddenly stopped.

The group also stopped, gazing at the scene ahead. The lord had no words to describe the place.

It no longer resembled the previous scenery. As they had rushed through the plain, they saw towering mountains and dense forests. Now, before them was a bottomless chasm. The distance they had just traveled couldn’t fill it.

The lord thought this was a sea that had dried up. The water evaporated, leaving behind this chasm.
