Emperor’s Domination

“You tried your best and were only one step away. I hope you will be able to try again in the future. Now it’s my turn.” Li Qiye rubbed the scales on the carp’s forehead and sighed.

He then blessed the carp, causing a buzzing sound and an eruption of a rainbow radiance. After the blessing, the carp gained the energy of a true dragon, seemingly on the verge of transforming.

The Phoenix Emperor was in awe, as he had never seen anything like this. He felt like a mortal watching the magic of an immortal for the first time. The blessing altered the carp’s bloodline, shortening a process that should have required eras.

Li Qiye didn’t activate any energy or law. Just his words alone seemed sufficient to illuminate the carp’s dao heart.

This broke the emperor’s sense of logic and rationality. Immortals should still have to obey the laws of cultivation.

Xiaoyue was astounded as well. When she first came, she was prepared to meet one of the greatest beings in history. However, the ease of the act still shocked her.

She felt a power, no, a will. This will was supreme and unprecedented. Perhaps only the high heaven possessed something similar – an unwavering will. The moment the words were spoken, they changed reality.

“Go.” He sighed and patted the carp’s head one last time, bidding farewell.

The carp, albeit reluctantly, still leaped back into the river. It turned back to stare at him for a bit before leaping again, creating a perfect rainbow arc.

“Splash!” It disappeared before the frozen emperor.

“This is okay?” He eventually said. In his opinion, the progenitor should return to the kingdom to enjoy all of its resources, shortening the transformation time.

More importantly, the progenitor would be safe as well.

“A shallow pond cannot birth a true dragon.” Li Qiye said: “It needs a dangerous ocean to truly refine its blood. Otherwise, even if it becomes a dragon, it’ll only be food.”

The emperor understood this logic. After all, most cultivators struggled during the dao path. It’s just that as a descendant, he wanted the progenitor to be safe.

“I understand.” He bowed: “Is there anything I can do for you during your visit, Immortal?”

“I actually have something for you to do.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Please give the command.” He said.

“I need the remains of a divine beast.” Li Qiye stroked his chin.

“You wish to kill one?!” This was a big deal to Beastmaster World.

Of course, an immortal certainly could do so.

“I, I believe there is only one in our world, it is at Sky Zenith.” He said.

“The young noble is talking about the remains of the divine beast that started this world.” Xiaoyue elaborated.

“Beast mastery started with Immortal Emperor Qing He, I haven’t heard of a divine beast starting this world. But, the legendary Empress Hong Tian did kill something…” He said.

“That’s the one.” Xiaoyue interrupted him and said: “It is a real divine beast, unlike the one you speak of. The latter was summoned here by it.”

“I see.” He said: “I only know about Immortal Emperor Qing He forming a pact between cultivators and beasts, starting the system.”

“That is later on.” Xiaoyue said: “Divine Beast Qing Ji hid in your world and summoned many heavenly beasts with a faint divine bloodline. Empress Hong Tian arrived later and Qing Ji couldn’t escape.”

“I heard about the second part, the beasts must have been scattered and Immortal Emperor Qing He took pity on them.” He said.

Qing Ji aimed to start a new world for them. Alas, it couldn’t escape Hong Tian’s pursuit. This left the remaining heavenly beasts in disarray.

Grand Thousand World wanted to kill them all to save this world from their rampage. However, Immortal Emperor Qing He pitied them and used the art of beast mastery to maintain order.

Therefore, many considered her to be the founder of Beastmaster World. In reality, Qing Ji started it first.
