Emperor’s Domination

A gentle breeze caressed the cheeks like a lover’s tender touch – comforting and captivating. It made Life and Death Heaven feel poetic and romantic.

Li Qiye and Liu Chuqing strolled with their fingers intertwined, bathed by sunlight. Her eyes gleamed with deep affection; her lips unconsciously curved into a smile of happiness.

The region became livelier, seemingly affected by their good mood. All existences welcomed it like a new year.

She wanted this moment to last forever. Of course, this couldn’t be the case so she cherished this memory deep in her heart. The dao was meant to be lonely; rare moments of happiness were essential to keep one’s sanity.

Just like its name, there were areas of death affinity. They were sealed away but didn’t prosper compared to places filled with life.

One particular place had a strong death affinity. The presence of an immortal couldn’t change it. It originated from a statue – Guardian Blade of Life and Death.

“True death, no reversion.” Li Qiye shook his head.

“She didn’t want the reversion.” Liu Chuqing sighed.

The guardian had a second chance but since she had experienced it once, she didn’t wish to add to the lord’s karma.

“It’s harder for me to do it now.” Liu Chuqing was an immortal now and no longer had this power.

“You can let go of Death Coffin, let her shoulder it.” Li Qiye said.

“Is it possible, Your Majesty?” Bingchi Hanyu, who was walking behind them, became surprised.

“It can’t be easy for you to do it either.” Liu Chuqing said. As the owner of Death Coffin, she understood its power and the significance of handing it over to the dead.

“Not a problem.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Then I thank you in Miss Qin’s stead.” She immediately bowed.

“Go.” Li Qiye raised his hand and used his will instead of the primordial. All laws had to obey.

“Buzz.” Death appeared and engulfed the region, overwhelming life.

Liu Chuqing summoned her coffin and pushed it forward: “My fate is mine to decide!”

“Boom!” A world of death with a world of life manifested into reality. Life turned into death afterward, creating a massive beam.

This affinity became potent enough to wither everything into dried corpses. It was the result of letting the guardian endure the coffin.

She reached her strongest state, superior to most supreme overlords. Alas, the power of death would ravage the realms.

“It can devour me.” Elsewhere, Supreme Black Ancestor’s expression darkened.

Weaker cultivators lost their balance and fell to the ground, unable to handle the pressure.

However, Li Qiye was here to stop it, channeling the empowered death affinity into the guardian alone.

“Crack!” Immortals couldn’t bear this influx of power. Thus, cracks appeared everywhere.

“Seal.” Li Qiye willed it so, upgrading her body to the immortal realm. He refined the affinity within her, causing ripples across the river of time.

The violent eruption couldn’t break free due to his supreme will. A heavenly treasure, such as the Death Coffin, was still melted into a scroll with the character, death, written on it.

He imprinted on the guardian before starting a reversal process, changing death to life. This incited the fury of the heaven again.

The sky turned red due to the appearance of a blood-colored ocean of lightning.

“This tribulation…” Everyone looked up in astonishment.
