Emperor’s Domination

“Who should we find first? Are we going to be villains here?” Huntblade said.

“No, we’re just following orders.” Alch-deer happily said: “The old turtle first, he has a lot of stuff and is the easiest to deal with.”

“Fine, Tortoise first.” Huntblade agreed with Alch-deer’s plan because the turtle had many treasures on top of being amiable.

He was the oldest, albeit not the strongest. Rumor has it he was born in the dimensional-folding four lakes in Imperial Domain.

He was no match for Goldclad, Lostmetal, Dragon-pill, and definitely not Crimson Virtue or Ten-realm Emperor. Nevertheless, he still had twelve fruits.

He spent most of his time in a grotto under the lake. Thus, the duo dove underwater to see him.

“Ancestor? Which one?” He was surprised to hear their reason for visiting.

“I don’t know, but Wisdom Ancestor refers to him as an ancestor, so he is our ancestor as well. Right, you’ve met him before, that one immortal with the rainbow fish.” Alch-deer said.

“Ah, him.” The turtle said: “No problem, no problem at all, if the ancestor wants to plant a garden, I will move my entire underwater one there.”

“How generous.” The duo gave him a thumbs-up.

His tribute made them look bad. It wasn’t due to a lack of initiative, they just didn’t have as many resources and plants.

One was a new emperor and the other was a desolate god. Their wealth couldn’t compare to his.

“Okay, you can transfer it, we will be talking to the other brothers and ancestors.” Alch-deer said before leaving with Huntblade.

“Rumble!” A colossal turtle with an aquatic garden on its back flew in the direction of Silence Peak.

“Ancestor, I’ve brought some plants here for you.” Tortoise Emperor presented his gifts.

“It is an honor to be in your presence, Ancestor.” He assumed a humanoid form and prostrated.

He didn’t need to hear more than Wisdom Ancestor’s address of this man. He must be a monster among ancient beings, having lived until now.

“What did you bring?” Li Qiye glanced at the aquatic garden.

“Please take a look, this is my most precious ocean-hark coral forest.” Tortoise picked his most precious possession.

“Right over here.” Li Qiye allowed it as an addition to the garden.

“Right away.” Tortoise moved his best divine trees to the desired spot.

“Old turtle, you have quite a collection.” A figure said while descending on Silence Peak.

The emperor saw an old man wearing a crimson robe. He had a slight hunchback due to his age but still looked vigorous and capable of lifting the sky and shifting the earth.

Since he hid his imperial aura, he looked like an ordinary old grandpa in the neighborhood.

“Brother Virtue, you’re here too.” Tortoise bowed slightly.

Crimson Virtue was in the origination stage. His master was Xianting, the first disciple of Desolate Ancestor.

Unfortunately, he didn’t learn much from his master due to the latter’s untimely demise. He had to seek the dao himself.

Some believed that if Xianting had lived longer, Crimson Virtue would be a primal ancestor right now.

“I am Crimson Virtue of Desolate Frontier, I humbly pay my respect.” He kowtowed upon seeing Li Qiye.

He felt a sense of familiarity right away since he was Desolate Ancestor’s grand-disciple. Wisdom Ancestor was certainly part of their branch, so her ancestor would be as well. This was akin to a grandson meeting his grandfather for the first time.

Li Qiye permitted him to stand. He then presented a treasure and said: “Ancestor, I have a mind-refinement flower, is it suitable for this place?”

This single flower pulsed with an immortal light. It was long and large with a jade-like exterior. The rays emanating from the top of the vase issued hymns.

Within were stars being refined constantly - the fate of anything within.

“Mind-refinement flower, this is from Ancestor Xianting, right?” Tortoise was surprised to see it.

“Yes, from my kind master.” Crimson Virtue loved it not only because it was a treasure capable of refining powerful foes but also because it was a gift from his late master.

“If it is from your master, keep it. It is precious but due to its fierce nature, it is not suitable here, I am trying to build a peaceful garden.” Li Qiye waved his hand.

The supreme flower coveted by many emperors and kingdoms was refused by the ancestor.

“Ancestor, how about this plant?” Crimson Virtue turned slightly red and summoned something else - neither a flower nor a tree.

It resembled a vine with time flowing on it for thousands of miles, looking like a river of time.

“Temporal galaxial vine!” Tortoise blurted: “Wasn’t this your baby? Wait, I thought it died from old age.”

“I spent a lot of effort and used my true blood to revive it.” Crimson Virtue was proud of this feat since few could do so.

“It’s pretty much extinct at this point.” Tortoise praised.

“Plant it.” Li Qiye nodded, seemingly satisfied with it.

“Looks like you are in first place, Brother Virtue. It is one of a kind here.” Tortoise observed the flow of time on the vine, having nothing but admiration.

“Don’t be so sure now.” Another old man rode the clouds, voicing disagreement.

“Brother Dragon-pill.” Tortoise smiled after seeing the best pill maker.

He was only in the heaven canopy stage but his pills were desired by primal ancestors and heaven-slayers.
