Emperor’s Domination

She finally understood the reality behind the trials of destruction. Everything the progenitor had experienced aided her in preparing for the trials.

Her strategy and prudence must have been flawless in picking this method for cultivation. Nevertheless, the risk was real - any mistake would have made her disappear permanently.

“Willpower and the dao heart are the most essential parts of this process. Get more of yourself immersed in the water. When you are in entirely including your true fate, you can become an immortal.” Li Qiye said.

He spoke so casually as if it was a vacation at a hot spring. Unfortunately, she knew how unbearable it was. Fatal dangers loomed everywhere; one might survive the first but this didn’t improve the risk during the second and so on…

“The destruction earlier was a mere prelude. The more you enter, the greater the destruction and agony.” Li Qiye said.

She shuddered instinctively upon hearing this. Her body and true fate didn’t obey her wishes.

“This process also strengthens the body and the true fate. Once you are in full control, you will reach the next crucial step.” He added.

Without the experience just now, she wouldn’t have gained a deep understanding of his remarks. She once thought she was in full control, capable of using any merit law or treasure perfectly.

Her body, grand dao, true fate, and will were one without any distinction. Unfortunately, the agony created a chasm.

“You must recover first.” Li Qiye shook his head and said: “If you don’t, the rifts will be permanent and your cultivation will wane. Returning to the right mental state takes time, of course.”

She took a deep breath and dropped the idea. Her body and true fate became less nervous as well. Otherwise, they would not follow her commands.

She glanced at the pond, aware she wouldn’t be able to endure another attempt. After ample preparations, perhaps she would last one, two, or three times.

However, would she be able to duplicate her progenitor’s feat until the perfect harmony of her dao heart, will, true fate, and body?

The progenitor never gave up despite the unceasing pain. She always regained her composure and accomplished other tasks such as taking down Silver Dragon Mecha, fighting Zhan Sansheng, and starting Desolate Frontier.

She somehow assumed her best state after each trial of destruction. Jiang Qingmei found this inconceivable - having the energy to surpass the trials while facing the challenges of the world.

Qingmei understood a long period of recuperation was necessary. Any disturbance could cause qi deviation. She had no time to worry about anything else including teaching juniors.

On the other hand, her progenitor started a new cultivation system. The hidden difficulty behind these feats left Qingmei in awe. Her love for the world overcame mental anguish.

This was a prime example of having a firm dao heart.

“Her immortal ascension is well deserved.” Qingmei finally concluded. The progenitor’s dao heart was incredible so it was only a matter of time. It had nothing to do with luck.

“It’s a process of maturity with unimaginable challenges.” Li Qiye agreed.
