Emperor’s Domination

“The dao heart, I see.” Li Qiye smiled and activated Founder Tablet again.

The eighty-one characters became unattached from the tablet. They re-positioned into the form of an eye and joined the tablet again.

Desolate Scripture was no more, replaced by a runic eye. Jiang Qingmei was at a loss for words since he had full control over their legacy scripture.

“Okay, do your best since it is ultimately up to you alone. I can only show you the path.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Thank you for the generous gift, Ancestor.” She prostrated.

Li Qiye waved his hand and disappeared into the sky.

Meanwhile, Mu Hu’s group nearly went crazy searching for Li Qiye in Myriad Peaks. Alas, he was nowhere to be found.

When they nearly gave up, he returned to the courtyard’s entrance.

“Young Noble, where did you go?” They heaved a sigh of relief.

“Just sightseeing.” Li Qiye answered and took a bite of chicken.

“...” The group exchanged glances.

“You scared us, Young Noble.” Princess Chen said.

“What can hurt me here?” Li Qiye asked.

“...” The group realized they panicked for no reason. A character such as Li Qiye had no issue traveling around the sect.

“Raa!” A roar erupted followed by violent gales, alarming the youths.

“What’s going on?” They became confused.

A tiger three to four times larger than a regular one rushed up the peak. It had a pair of wings imbued with lightning.

“Watcher Tiger!” Mu Hu’s expression changed.

Upon seeing Li Qiye, the tiger revealed its sharp fangs and immediately lunged forward.

“Stop!” The youths reacted swiftly.

Mu Hu summoned his wooden saber; the others did the same. They activated their grand dao to stop the tiger.

“Bam!” The tiger easily broke through their attacks. Its sharp claws could cut down a mountain in one second.

“Want a bone?” Li Qiye threw his finished drumstick at the tiger.

“Bam!” This sent the tiger flying. It smashed against the ground, unable to get up.

“The audacity to cause trouble here!” A middle-aged man descended from the sky. He wore a full armor set and had an intimidating gleam in his eyes.

A group of disciples also descended behind him, clearly capable cultivators judging by their movement.

“Senior Brother Gong from Alchemy Peak, the first disciple of Junior Uncle Alch-deer.” Mu Hu didn’t like this development.

He came over and greeted: “Senior Brother Gong, what is going on to warrant so much fanfare?”

“You tell me.” The man glared at Mu Hu before staring at Li Qiye or to be exact, the grilled chicken in his hand. His chest heaved up and down with rage upon confirming the chicken.

“Who are you?! How dare you eat my master’s eight-treasure alchemy fowl?! You deserve death!” His eyes turned red.

“...” Mu Hu looked back at the chicken and sure enough, it matched the descriptions.

“Young Noble, is it true?” He whispered to Li Qiye.

“No idea, I was hungry.” Li Qiye thought it was a good meal. His mouth was still covered in grease.

The youths exchanged glances and smiled wryly. The chicken was a special alchemy creature capable of gestating many plants. It killed malicious insects on top of fertilizing the soil.

Rumor has it Alch-deer Emperor spent a long time serving as a cauldron assistant for Dragon-pill Emperor before receiving this chicken. His treasure was now reduced to a meal, hence his first disciple’s rage.

“He’s an ancestor, does it matter?” Princess Chen whispered to Mu Hu.

Mu Hu smiled wryly since this was out of his domain.

“Villain, your malicious acts will not be tolerated in Desolate Frontier!” Senior Brother Gong shouted.

“Don’t interrupt someone’s meal time.” Li Qiye said.

“I will cut you to pieces, ignorant fool!” Senior Brother Gong summoned a trident for a thrust.

“Stop, do not be disrespectful!” Someone interfered with an imperial aura, immobilizing Senior Brother Gong.

A youth with an antler landed on the peak. He was the youngest emperor of Desolate Frontier with just one dao fruit.

“Junior Uncle.” Mu Hu bowed to greet him.

“Master, he stole your fowl!” Senior Brother Gong reported.

Alche-deer Emperor waved dismissively: “Stand aside, do not speak.”

“Immortal, was it tasty?” He came over and asked with a beaming smile. [1]
