Genshin Impact: Spoiling the Future

Makoto Raiden raises her hand and strokes Ei’s face, gently wiping away her tears.

”To think I can see you with my own eyes again, touch you.” Makoto Raiden reveals a faint smile. ”Am I dreaming?”

Although the voice is very similar, when Makoto Raiden speaks, it feels much gentler.

Ei suddenly realizes—this smile is one she hasn’t seen in so long. Whether parting or reuniting, you always have this smile, sister.

A few days ago, when watching ”Song Amidst the Ashes,” she recalled your smile—it was somewhat blurry then, but now it is finally clear.

Ei does not directly answer her question but instead asks back:

”Are my tears warm?”

”Yes, they have cooled.”

Makoto Raiden nods; tears are hot when they first flow out, but they had cooled by the time she wiped them.

Ei places her hand over Makoto’s and asks: ”What about my hand?”

”...Warm.”

Now, it is Makoto Raiden’s turn to shed tears.

Yes, warm—her hand can feel the temperature; this is not a dream.

The sensation on her hand tells her that all of this is real!

But why? Why can’t I ”see” your face clearly again?

Ei, do you know? I am really so happy right now because I have the chance to fulfill more wishes—I can make up for what I owe you.

Ei, do you know? I really hate to part with you!

[”This time, it is truly goodbye—Ei.”]

That’s right; this time, we should truly be reunited, right? We won’t be separated again.

The two women shed tears, venting their emotions; the other four very tactfully do not interrupt at all.

Rather, Yae Miko also feels like crying quite a bit. If not for making space for the two sisters’ reunion, she would really want to pounce over too.

Kitsune Saiguu is fine; she has an aunt-like smile on her face, happy for her friend.

She is not too sad because she died and revived around the same time as Makoto Raiden—she did not experience the ”blank” five hundred years.

Instead, Lucian and the Raiden Shogun stand together, silently watching all this.

Lucian has never liked interrupting such occasions; the Raiden Shogun, on the other hand, has a bewildered expression.

What’s going on? What happened? This is too un-eternal!

From the moment Lucian came in, everything happened too fast! How did it jump straight to the climax? What about the foreplay?

Who could react to this! The CPU can’t keep up!

”Lucian, your methods truly surprise me.” The Raiden Shogun says in a calm tone.

She is very good at suppressing emotions—even if her heart is in turmoil, she can remain expressionless.

If it were before, she would have slashed at an un-eternal existence like Lucian.

But now, she is also trying to change her view of eternity, and what Lucian has done makes it truly impossible for her to draw her blade.

”After all, I’m not some delicate queen; I have plenty of strength and means.” Lucian laughs.

”...” Doesn’t understand; the Raiden Shogun sighs.

Am I really too rigid? Why can’t I even understand what others say? What deep meaning does this sentence have? Who is the queen he is talking about?

Did Ei not install a Chinese-to-Japanese translation module for me?

”Anyway, you are now the cat-eye... Raiden three sisters; get along well.” Lucian pats the Raiden Shogun’s shoulder—this time the right side, without the shoulder armor.

The Raiden Shogun thinks for a moment or two and finally decides to ignore Lucian.

Since conversing with him can’t keep up with his brain circuits, then just don’t converse with him.

While bullshitting, Makoto and Ei walk over together—obviously to express gratitude.

The gracefully approaching Makoto Raiden has no difference in appearance from Ei, but her expression, movements, and hairstyle are more mature and wife-like; her clothes are also without armor, so no worry about pricking hands.

Unlike Ei, Makoto is truly a ”housewife”—the kind who can cook.

Makoto Raiden’s movements are much gentler and more graceful, not like Ei’s big nuclear radiation子.

Makoto elegantly curtseys slightly: ”A debt of gratitude for saving my life cannot be repaid.”

”Wait a second!” Lucian hurriedly interrupts: what script is this? Don’t go for offering yourself in return.

If you really offer yourself, won’t Ei cleave me? I’d be split into eight pieces.

Makoto looks at Lucian with some confusion, not knowing why he interrupts at this moment.

But she is very obedient—Lucian tells her to wait, so she waits, just blinking her eyes at Lucian, her gaze full of doubt.

”In fact, I have no way to restore your power and divine authority.” Lucian says.

Makoto Raiden is merely a weak strand of consciousness; revival is possible, memories are clear, but power is almost completely gone.

The throne of the Electro Archon is now occupied by Ei; aside from a very long lifespan, Makoto is practically an ordinary person.

In fact, if the power of the seed is absorbed by Makoto Raiden, she could still recover some divine power.

But this seed is extremely precious—it must not be wasted; send it to Yun Cheung!

I mean, it must be given to Raiden Ei so she can plant the seed properly.

Makoto Raiden shakes her head: ”I am already extremely grateful; I do not seek power.”

She herself is not a deity who pursues power; she has always been indifferent to that aspect.

Moreover, she is no longer the Electro Archon now—the issue of the divine throne is resolved, so she needs power even less.

”Since that’s the case, let me introduce your third sister to you: Raiden Yide.” Lucian points at the Raiden Shogun.

No problem, right? The gentle but not strong eldest sister, the invincible second sister, and a third sister who wants to chop that guy at every turn—perfect.

”?” The Raiden Shogun looks at Lucian in confusion: what? You say I’m called what?

Is this the name you gave me? Should I change my name?

The Raiden Shogun is very conflicted; she doesn’t really like the name Lucian gave, but thinking of what Lucian has done, her inner self should agree, right?

What to do? Do I really have to admit my name is Raiden Yide?

While she is still conflicted, Kitsune Saiguu’s fan has already knocked on Lucian’s head.

”Don’t joke about the Shogun who is even ’dumber’ than Ei; she will take it seriously.”

”?”

”?”

The Raiden Shogun and Raiden Ei both express confusion at the same time.

What do you mean by even dumber than Ei? Ei wouldn’t be happy hearing this, and neither would the Shogun.

”Raiden Shogun...” Makoto ignores Lucian’s antics: ”Ei really isn’t good at naming.”

Makoto quite likes the Shogun—after all, the Shogun’s body is Ei’s body; how is this not her own sister, a purple sister.

Lucian nods in agreement with Makoto’s words: indeed not good at naming; another one is called Raiden Cannon.

I dare not imagine what strange name Ei would give if she really had a child in the future—Raiden Little General?

However, Ei is just not good at naming ”people”; she is very smooth at naming ”moves.”

”Don’t tease me anymore...” Ei is still holding the seed in her hand, looking silly but quite cute.
