I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 356: 8.81 First Blue Star - Like a Demon God

The news about the Imperial Palace and the royalty in it being replaced by the alien race left everyone in the Main tent quiet and speechless. The meeting was taken over by the Old Marshal who had explained the existence of the parasitic zergs.

[This is the case that had been hidden all along by the Interstellar Federation years ago. The first parasitic case of the Alien race happened in mine, my wife, Old Feng, and Old Xue cadet days. At that time, the elders of the Federation had mistaken my wife, Alula Celeste, as an Alien Zerg himself. If not because I and Old Man Feng insisted that Celes is not a zerg that things would not end as it is.

At that time, the Feng and Janus Clans including the Xue and Alula Clan almost destroyed the Interstellar Federation. This is because they tried to experiment on my wife, Celes, at that time. Thankfully before they cut him open I and Old Feng arrived on time.]

Everyone was shocked by what they were hearing. Especially the reason why the four mentioned clans hated the federation. Knowing this reason, everyone couldnʼt help but think twice about their loyalty towards this inhuman organization called Interstellar Federation.

[Donʼt show your doubts towards the Federation right now. This organization is already completely under my control. Those spies from the alien races had been cleaned up and the strongest power in the Federation is me.

But as for what happened to the Imperial Family, this is my negligence. The Imperial power the Royal family possesses is half what the Oberion Empire has. I had never reached out my control over the Imperial Family and never thought their ending would be like this. Perished under the domination of the Parasitic Zerg Race.

They took the opportunity while this damn brat (Sirius) is not in the Empire. This means someone from their side had met the damn brat on that planet and chose the time while he was not on the human race planet. Quite smart. Brat, did you let someone in that Planet leave who had seen you alive?]

Marshal Sirius replied while his expression is calm as the quiet sea. ”Before my second Mania, Iʼve met the first and second zerg princes and their partners. At that time, the Siren King was also present. They knew that I am alive and here on this planet.

The Zerg Princes and Princesses were all killed by my Jingʼer; this only left the Siren King. He must have left Planet Citlali after attacking me. That Siren King must be a vessel or indeed another alien race which is the enemy of the human race.”

[If this is the case then itʼs no wonder this happens. That Siren King must be just another vessel theyʼve been using. The problem is this old man is not in the Empire, I have left things about the Empire to Old Feng and the Feng Clan. Brat, you arrange things for this. This old man is going to disappear somewhere until then you hold the fort. I will pass the mantle of the highest authority to you temporarily. No, ignore that, I will pass it to Xiao Jing instead. You will listen to our Xiao Jing right?]

The Marshal responded without any hesitation, ”I will agree to anything my wife told me to do.”

[Good! This old man had been getting old lately. You, youngsters, should start working hard to replace this old bone. Revel, how are you still on Planet Citlali?]

[If nothing goes wrong I should arrive before evening the next day.] said Lieutenant General Nova Revel.

Seeing that the Old Marshal is about to leave, everyone inside the tent had stood and saluted towards the old leader.

”Salutes to Marshal Janus!”

[Sirius, the rest of the problems are for you to solve. Donʼt disappoint this old man.]

Marshal Sirius said, ”I understand, Grandfather Lan.”

[Brat! Who allowed you to call this old man, Grandfather!? You havenʼt married Xiao Jing yet! We will talk after this old man returns. Hmph!]

Then the old marshal one-sidedly cut off the video call on his side after glancing at his daughter who gestured to him that he understood. Once the call is cut off silence once again descends inside the room. No one is in the right mood to start the conversation, especially King Regulus Zenith who just learned that he had lost his own family to parasitic zergs and occupies the Imperial Palace as their nest.

The Marshal leads the meeting once again and said, ”The Imperial Clan is no more. The Fengʼs would protect the common people but they arenʼt enough to confront the zergs who wear the skin of the Imperial Family. I will contact them later for further plans. For now, letʼs focus on what to do next. Lieutenant General Xue Ying, Major General Lin Tang, and Major General Drake would return to the Empire to support the Feng Family. Do not let the people of the Empire be swayed by the sweet nothing those insects would be saying.”

”In worse case scenarios, you can reveal this report about the parasitic zerg but it is better to capture one alive and should everyone live that the contents of the vessel had been changed. Major General Drake, can I leave his mission to you?” asked the Marshal.

Major General Drakeʼs expression turned serious as he saluted the Marshal and said, ”I will complete it without problems, Marshal.”

”Good. You can bring anyone with you but if you want Feng Wu to come, you must ask my wifeʼs permission first,” said Marshal Sirius.

Major General Drake responded, ”I will ask for permission.”

Lieutenant General Xue Ying said, ”Marshal, I understand sending Major General Lin and Major General Drake but I am your right-hand person. I cannot just leave your side.”

”You will be returning to the Oberion Empire because your other half needs the permission of the Feng Clanʼs elders to enter the Ancient Nest for rebirth. The only one allowed to enter the nest is the person entering rebirth and their other half. You need to go home, AʼYing.” said Feng Yang, who understood the real situation about Student Lin Yvenʼs state. ”During the process of your other halfʼs rebirth, you must accompany him for at least a year there. Did you think that the process of rebirth is painless?”

Once the heir of the Feng Clan said things like that, everyone finally understood that rebirth isnʼt just a special skill, the process and result needs to undergo pain and torment.

Marshal Sirius spoke, ”Lieutenant Xue Ying, Major General Lin Tang, and Major General Drake should leave the planet as soon as possible. Make the necessary preparations to leave. You three may now leave.”

Those that were mentioned looked at each other and saluted to the Marshal. Afterward, they left the tent and started their preparations. Lieutenant General Xue Ying heads to his unitʼs shipʼs infirmary to check on his partner. Following him are the two Major Generals. Major General Lin Tang wanted to see his youngest grandson while Major General Drake wanted to see Feng Wu and seek the permission of Young Lord Feng Jing to have Feng Wu follow him in the Empire.

Those that remain in the Main tent all look at the marshal waiting for their designated mission. The ones left behind in the tent are Feng Yang, Nova Seren, King Regulus Zenith, and his wife, Queen Regulus (Feng) Yue.

Feng Yang spoke, ”Why did you send Major General Drake back to the Empire with the rest. I wasnʼt sure that he wasnʼt an enemy or something.”

”Izar is not an enemy. He is the hidden subordinate that is not known by anyone except for me. He had been working as a double agent for me when Iʼm not sure if Marshal Janus is an enemy or not.” said Marshal Sirius.

He used this excuse to let Warden Louʼs action of following his orders without questions. This might anger the Old Marshal but it would also give Major General Drake the camouflage as the Lord Godʼs servant.

Only Nova Seren slightly believed his words, her actions as Major General Drake started acting differently when the news about Marshal Siriusʼs death had spread all over the capital. Saying that he wanted to resign from his position and become a common person. No wonder his former serious persona broke one day.

”No wonder he started acting weirdly these past weeks. He must have wanted to leave his unit to help look for the Martial,” murmured Nova Seren.

Feng Yang asked with doubt painted on his face, ”Is this for real?”

”Seems like it,” replied Nova Seren to her dumb nephew or brother, Feng Yang. Before moving her gaze back to the Marshal, ”You didnʼt dismiss us means you would be allocating missions of our own is that it. Doesnʼt this mean that only you and Jingjing will remain in this abandoned star to fight the war against the zergs?” said Nova Seren.

Once Feng Yang heard this he immediately disagreed and said, ”No this is not possible. I will stay here even if itʼs against the superiorʼs orders!” said the eldest young lord of the Feng Clan. He would not leave his younger brother here alone.

Marshal Sirius spoke, ”Jingʼer is stronger. More powerful than anyone. Mightier than you and much stronger than I do. You had seen what happened to the hidden mansion in the Central Region right? If there are too many people with us on this planet, it would only restrict his capabilities as he needs to use his power more to protect than to fight. Only a limited number of individuals are staying on this planet. The rest would be doing a different mission.”

The content of his words and his tone were so serious that no one could stay otherwise against it. Even Feng Yang who wanted to disagree felt that his words were stuck in his throat making it hard for him to breathe. He could only grit his teeth together as he might curse at this person in front of him.

Among them, only King Regulus Zenithʼs eyes slightly glowed in hope when some thoughts entered his head. Even though the Imperial Family is a trash clan and King Zenith doesnʼt care about anything that happens to them, his Imperial Mother is different. Only his mother protected him from the rest of the royal family and allowed him to meet the Fengs. She was his only family in the Imperial Clan.

Now that she is gone all of the sudden, Regulus Zenith couldnʼt accept it simply like the rest of the deaths of the royal family. He wanted to avenge her for it. King Zenith is an intelligent man, he could somehow guess what are the other plans of the Marshal before him.

King Regulus Zenith said, ”Were you planning to use this war as a chance to fully destroy the Zerg Race? In this war, you are so sure that one of the Imperial Zerg pairs would come over. Leaving only one Imperial to zerg pair in the nest of the Zergs.

Since most of their guardians would attend this war, their nest would only be left with a few zergs. This is a good opportunity to destroy their planet.”

As if enlightened, Nova Seren and Feng Yang finally understand why the three of them were asked to stay here with the Marshal. They looked at the Marshal in disbelief as if looking at this stupid idiot who was planning a suicide mission.

Nova Seren stood up and yelled for the first time, ”Are you crazy!? You want only you and Jingjing to fight the whole military force of the Zerg race on your own!? Do you want to di-----!!!!????”

Suddenly an overwhelming pressure that causes earthquakes on the planet itself can be felt. The whole star is affected and cracks on the land under feet can be felt, this is caused by the sudden force of aura the Marshal is emitting at this moment.

The marshal sat in front of them like an immovable mountain that could crash them any time he wanted. A haughty yet cold expression was imprinted on that handsome face as he looked down on the three who were left inside the tent with him. Once the three felt that they were almost dead, the marshal had taken back his aura and everything else had returned to normal except for the cracks on the land that cannot be repaired on their own.

To the eyes of the three in front of him, the Marshal at that moment is more like a Demon God.
