I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 351: 8.76 First Blue Star - Nightmarish Memories I

Zhi Yue had started panicking about everything that was happening before him. The Lord Hei he knew is someone who would never treat his life like this. But he knew the reason for it. Ever since that night the interaction between his host and the Lord Godʼs soul fragmentʼs vessel had either been cold or warm.

This reaction is based on the result that angered his host. Zhi Yue knew that Lord Hei hadnʼt completely forgiven him or Marshal Altair Sirius for what happened that night. To him, the move that the marshal had taken is nothing but a suicidal move. I mean who would be foolish enough to come to the enemyʼs hideout after knowing that the latter possess a bloodline skill that could kill any sentinels in this world. Mania, as a mental illness caused by being inflicted by a qi filled with evil thoughts.

Once this evil qi entered a Sentinelʼs spiritual domain, it slowly destroyed their soul until they went insane and killed themselves in the end. Only a guide can cleanse a Sentinelʼs soul but this action needs compatibility. Not all Guides could suddenly invade someone elseʼs spiritual domain.

This is a risky action after all. A sentinelʼs spiritual domain is full of qi, this can kill anyone who would try to invade their minds. Guides are weaker than a Sentinel this is because their spiritual qiʼs attribute is soft than the fierce qi that the Sentinels possess. It was because of this that sentinel and guides would complement each other.

Falling in a state of mania is extremely dangerous for a Sentinel especially for the unpaired ones. When Marshal Altair Sirius was directly attacked by the skill from the Siren King, his defenses were lowered at that time as he was in mecha. He thought that the mechaʼs defensive program could protect him but who would have expected that the soul inside that Siren Kingʼs body is no longer an original soul. But an outsider soul like them, someone who is bound to be their enemy.

Thankfully, Feng Jing had found them before it was too late. This is the reason his host is angry at them. Because at that time, Feng Jing felt that his lover despite sharing each otherʼs affection had not trusted him well enough. To Feng Jing this is almost a betrayal, after all, he had given the latter his full trust, loyalty, and love. It was unfair that Marshal Altair Sirius had treated him that way.

And because Zhi Yue had not informed him as well, Feng Jing felt that his little moon guide hadnʼt believed in him enough. When both his love and his friend donʼt trust him the way he does, this is Feng Jingʼs source of anger.

Now Feng Jing wanted to use these Heavenly Laws to make them feel what it is like to know that someone important to them chooses an action that may cause his own death. He wanted them to feel what he had felt that time. The panic almost made him mad. The sadness of knowing that he didnʼt trust them enough and the fear that he might lose him because of one foolish choice. He wanted them to experience them all.

A barrier was erected enclosing Feng Jing inside, the rumbling of the dark clouds above him getting stronger with each minute that passed. Despite that, Feng Jing stood at the center with a huge Phoenix-Dragon Hybrid Quantum beast looking at the black sky above him. His face was devoid of emotion as if overlooking a passing cloud, he stares at the thunder tribulation which is about to hit him at any moment but there is only sleepiness tainting those silver eyes. The corner of his lips trickles a spill of blood as if blood would flow out once he parted those thin yet bloodless lips.

His phoenix eyes had hints of tiredness as he stared at Marshal Altair Sirius and Zhi Yue just beyond the barrier he had erected. Unless someone stronger than him appeared it is close impossible for someone else to destroy the barrier. When he moved his gaze to stare at the pale face of the Marshal, Feng Jingʼs lip slightly upturned. No one else knew if itʼs a taunt or just a simple smile but it was able to stir Marshal Siriusʼs heart completely.

Rumbles~ Crack! A huge bolt of lightning finally comes down. Targeting the lonesome figure of his beloved at the center of the enclosed land. This scene made Altair Sirius helpless at the same time terrified. His eyes lingered only at Feng Jingʼs smiling figure.

The Marshal grabbed the clothes above his heart, at this moment the pain within his chest is beyond what he had experienced before. As if someone had directly dug out his beating heart stabbing it multiple times for him to suffer unbearable pain then followed with an extreme feeling of numbness, he couldnʼt move his body as if he was paralyzed. Only the slow-moving scene of lightning bolt targeting his lover almost took his breath away.

His formerly dull black eyes suddenly glint with a glow as if a polished obsidian full of luster and elegance. The frightened expression on his pale face faded as only coldness and calmness were present. Zhi Yue is still banging at the barrier wanting to get inside, but this barrier is made purely from his hostʼs qi unless he is stronger than the caster, others canʼt destroy it.

Zhi Yue was yelling from the outside, ”My lord. My lord... please stop this!” But his host turned deaf ears on his pleas. He suddenly turned his head to ask his Lord Godʼs soul fragment to work together with him so they could at least make a small crack on the barrier but when he looked at the Marshal, Zhi Yue was dumbfounded.

The sharp and piercing glance from Marshal Sirius is so familiar to him. It was the usual authoritative gaze he receives from his big boss, the Lord God.

He started stuttering in shock, ”Y-You are...?” Zhi Yue asked but he was ignored.

Marshal Sirius turned back his gaze on the figure of his beloved inside the barrier. He reached out to touch him. Once the tip of his fingers landed on the invisible barrier, darkness taints it and spreads fast enough that everyone witnessed this scene. Marshal Sirius entered the barrier and unlike before he was able to go inside unhindered.

Before the barrier turns completely back, Reine, Feng Jingʼs quantum beast, felt a strong qi throwing him out of the approaching black barrier. The strength coming from that qi was so strong that it left the quantum beast helpless. A loud bird cry was heard echoing paired with the figure of a huge phoenix flying away like someone grabs its neck and throws it away. Roi, the Black Dragon King, who was encircling the barrier near the dark clouds saw its shrieking partner and came over to comfort it.

CAAAAAWWWSSSSS~

RROOOOOAAAAARR~

Roi felt that his master had changed but at the same time not. It is his master but this master is a lot stronger and fiercer. The aura this Marshal possesses is different from before. It is eerier and much more dangerous.

Everyone could only watch as a black dome appeared out of nowhere. The tribulation thunder continuously struck on the black dome but it left nothing on the black barrier. It kept striking until loud sounds of cracking were heard in the area. But the dark dome is like an immovable fortress, not even the largest lightning bolt left a scratch on it.

Meanwhile, inside the black dome, countless will-oʼ-the-wisp appears floating scattered in the area providing light. Feng Jing who was greatly weakened by breaking the heavenly laws just stood at the center of the darkness without any expression on his face. But his silver eyes now emit frostiness that could rival the glaciers.

Feng Jing murmured, ”Darkness and fire elements? Is it the enemies from the outside of this world? Did they come for me?”

When all of the sudden he was attacked by the darkness within the dome, Feng Jing tries to defend himself by freezing the area around him but unfortunately, his vessel is thoroughly spent this time. He was able to turn a part of the area into ice but the power of darkness overpowered him. When Feng Jing tries to use qi beyond his body, the darkness could no longer hesitate and restrain him, including his godly abilities.

The darkness gently wraps around him even blindfolding his eyes and gently restraining his qi. Feng Jing closed his eyes waiting for death. Unless the one who kills him is his sole weakness no matter how many times he is killed, he would revive. What Feng Jing didnʼt know is that this gesture of him welcoming his death without any second thought makes someone extremely uncomfortable. Feng Jing didnʼt know why the qi coming from this darkness is making him relax and comfortable. It didnʼt take a while for him to completely fall asleep. To him sleeping in his death or dying in someoneʼs hands had no difference. He wouldnʼt be able to die no matter what was done to him.

Marshal Sirius who was watching silently in front of him suddenly trembles when he tries to reach out for Feng Jingʼs blindfolded figure. At this moment, the current marshal is able to utilize the black snowflake insignia to heal the latter. This is something that the original Marshal couldnʼt do. On the Marshalʼs face, a small black snowflake appears under his left eye paired with the same one that suddenly appeared in the same position on Feng Jingʼs face.

Once Marshal Sirius knew that his wife had completely fallen asleep, he controlled the darkness bidding him and gently caught him in his embrace. As if a precious treasure finally returned to his arms, this man who wears the face of Marshal Sirius cradles the beautiful sleeping man in his embrace.

This person is no longer Master Sirius alone, but the man Feng Jing had been waiting for. Someone whom he loves with all his life and eternity. The Lord God of the Nether System, Ye Xiajie, who is supposed to be asleep for two worlds. He had awakened early this time. As soon as he woke up the two worldsʼ memories had merged for him to experience himself. He had seen the scene of his loverʼs death under his own command in front of his eyes in the last world. Or when that sword of that old bastard cleanly stabbed through his wifeʼs heart when he tried to protect them.

His memories surge like waves coming into his mind without hints of stopping. He could hear his own voice and his subordinate, Warden Louʼs voice. It wasnʼt the same as their original voice but based on their memories this is indeed his own.

ʼArayshʼ

ʼYou call my Lord.ʼ

He can hear him issuing orders of testing the saintess in memories and Araysh accepting the tasks without a complaint.

ʼMy Lord, how about the other one (Eirwen)? The one who wasnʼt summoned but got brought here by accident, Should I kill him tomorrow?ʼ asked Araysh.

Damian replied, ʼEnd him cleanly. Just a single stab should suffice.ʼ

Ye Xiajie knew that these words came out of his own mouth. The current vessel that used to house his soul fragment. He couldnʼt believe what he was hearing. He ordered the death of his own wife with his own mouth. He wanted to kill him at this moment. He never expected things like this would happen the moment he left his dominant soul asleep for meditation.

Then like a movie playing before him, he could only watch his wife be stabbed by his own subordinates from behind. The blood gushes from his chest like a waterfall tainting the pure white dress within crimson blood. He could still feel the warmness of his wifeʼs blood on his hands when he caught him before he fell. He could also feel the turmoil his heart had suffered at that moment. He wanted to scream to stop this nightmare but the memories continue to flow out like water in his head.

His wifeʼs blaming tone when he was dying within his embrace that time, the words he had spoken in a form of a whisper is like a scream lingering in his ears.

ʼYou said... youʼll never... harm me... Youʼre a liar... My... love.ʼ

The sleeping figure of Feng Jing in his arm overlaps the bloodied dying figure of his beloved from the last world. Ye Xiajie yelled as if losing his mind.

AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
