I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 354: 8.79 First Blue Star - Emergency Meeting

At the camp base.

The Lieutenant Generals and Major Generals had all gathered at the Main Camp. Lieutenant General Xue Ying was the one who had called them all over. As soon as he returned to the camp he had placed his lover, Lin Yven, to Fallen Godʼs Battleship infirmary closely protected by his subordinates and friends. Bai Yuyan and Feng Wu stayed there as well. Then ordered the isolation of the people from the Black Turtle unit and the descendants and members of the Navi Clan were commanded. Even the name of Marshal Sirius was used by Xue Ying.

Navi Naja who had connections to the crown was not spared and Price Regulus Rigel who wanted to save his cousin was reprimanded by his own Imperial Uncle and was also detained but the people under the royal family. This is to assure everyone that the crown had nothing to do with the betrayal of the Navi Clan.

At the Main Tent, everyone inside watched the recording System Etoile took, the faces of the people involved were clear enough for everyone to recognize them. Among the familiar faces is Major General Navi Itri.

”These are the elders of the Navi Clan,” commented King Regulus Zenith when he saw the other faces of the men in the recording.

The contents of the video show that Major General Navi Itri indeed plans to assassinate one of the main pillars which protect the empire and it was the only above SSS ranked guide in the history of the Oberion Empire.

”This fools! Trying to kill someone who is protecting them are they stupid or what!?” exclaimed Feng Yang in anger.

This time his face had darkened in rage. His younger brother hasnʼt even been completely mature yet but because of his bossʼ self-centered action, they didnʼt end up with a permanent mark at the wrong time. He wasnʼt even fully healed yet and he had to come out of the camp to look for a friend only for these fools to plan an assassination attempt on his adorable brother during the war.

Donʼt they know that if they lost Feng Jing, his partner the Marshal itself would have gone insane and that would be the end of humanity!

With a stern expression on his face, Xue Ying said, ”The Marshal had ordered the imprisonment of those involved and said he will take all responsibility for it if someone from the Empire got involved with this.” When saying this his gaze couldnʼt help but move on to the only member of the royal faction. ”Brother Zen.”

King Regulus Zenithʼs expression also isnʼt good. ”Donʼt look at me like that. Between the Feng Family and the Royal Clan, I would always choose the former. If Regulus Rigel still gets involved in this you may punish him according to the Empireʼs Laws,” he said.

Lieutenant General Xue Ying nods his head in agreement. As the actions taken under the marshal had been finalized, everyone moved their topic from another. Major General Lin Tang started asking about the current situation of his youngest grandson.

”Lieutenant General Xue Ying, this old man would like to ask what happened to my youngest descendant. You said he is okay but at the same time, you didnʼt say he isnʼt unharmed. What happened to Lin Yven?” asked Major General Lin Tang.

Once this question was asked, Lieutenant General Xue Yingʼs expression turned gloomy yet confused. He could still recall the deadly state of his lover a few hours ago. He decided to tell everyone honestly.

Xue Ying, ”When I met Yve in the forest he was being pursued by Navi Itri and his minions. They must have attacked him the moment they realized that he had heard about their plans to assassinate Feng Jing. He was fatally injured to the point he is covered with his blood. The military doctors who were with us at that time said that all his internal organs were destroyed and his ribs were cracked.

Some fragments of the cracked rib bone pierced his lungs and thereʼs internal bleeding beyond normal. He was already on his last breath... When I saw Yve. Thankfully the doctors brought a 100% concentrated Healing concoction which had extended Yveʼs life for a bit longer. But worse of it was the situation of his spiritual domain... It was broken beyond repair.”

Major General Lin Tang was stunned and in disbelief at the same time. There is also a rage gathering within himself as he imagined the scene of his youngest grandson as Lieutenant General Xue Ying detailed explained. Everyone knew that broken spiritual domain had no cure.

BAM! A loud sound of someone banging the table was heard. It was done by the angered Major General Lin Tang faced with this fact.

”That old bastard Navi Itri!!! I want to kill your whole clan myself!” said Major General Lin Tang while gritting his teeth in rage. Even his eyes were fierce and bloodshot at this moment as if he would explode any time. The murderous intent this old general is excluding was enough to spread pressure that suffocates those who were weaker than he does but no one is weaker than him inside the tent but they could still feel his anger.

Major General Drake spoke, ”Calm down, Major General Lin. Isnʼt your grandson back to the camp alive? This means that either Marshal Altair Sirius or Young Lord Feng Jing had succeeded in saving him though I donʼt understand why the couple didnʼt return with the rest.”

”Thatʼs right, AʼYing. Whereʼs Xiao Jing and Brother Sirius?” asked Feng Yang. He was obviously worried about these two family members of his especially the youngest one.

Lieutenant General Xue Ying avoided his cousinʼs gaze when he was asked about this. After all, he knew that his younger cousinʼs state must have worded the moment he tried to save Lin Yven as per his request. He had witnessed Feng Jing coughing blood after all. Plus they weird dark clouds from before, it is obviously targeting his younger cousin. Thankfully the Marshal was there to save them all.

”The Marshal took Xiao Jing somewhere. He might be looking for something that could heal him,” said Lieutenant General Xue Ying.

Feng Yang yelled, ”What do you mean!?”

With this answer, almost half of the people inside the tent had frowned. Feng Yang was about to explode in rage, Nova Seren, Regulus Zenith, and Drake Izar all had serious expressions when the words of healing were mentioned. It means that Young Lord Feng Jingʼs injuries had worsened.

Thoughts of Major General Drake, ʼLord Hei is injured again. Did he violate other Divine Laws? This is not good. The Lord God is still asleep in this world until the next. Moreover, with what happened in the last world and this world once the Lord God had woken up things wouldnʼt be this quiet.ʼ

Nova Seren who is cool and relaxed as she is suddenly looking at Xue Ying and said, ”What are you keeping silent for? Tell us what happened to Jingjing!?” her tone remains cold but there is urgency added this time.

King Regulus Zenith asked, ”For the Marshal to not bring back Xiao Jing as soon as he could mean that something indeed happened. Tell us everything that happened, AʼYing.”

Lieutenant General Xue Ying hesitated to inform everyone about what happened in the forest. After all, this pertains to the secrets of the Phoenix Bloodline. He looked at the faces of everyone in the tent, most of them were family members except Major General Drake.

Major General Lin Tang can be considered as an exception as one of the people involved in his grandson. Lieutenant General Nova Seren, even though no one is informed about her real standing in the Janus family, is considered Feng Jingʼs elder sister or aunt. King Regulus Zenith is an in-law of Fengs, he should have known about this after marrying his cousin sister, Feng Yue. Only General Drake was an outsider.

Feeling the reluctant stares of Xue Ying on him, Major General Drake had instantly understood that he couldnʼt stay to hear the following next conversation. He politely took his leave and took this chance to speak with his lover, Prisoner Yun Ming which in this world is currently called Feng Wu.

Major General Drake prepares to leave seeing this, ”It seems you will need me to step out for a while. I will be with Feng Wu. You can send someone to get me if there are still things needed to be done in camp.” he said as he stood up intending to get out of the tent to give the rest their privacy.

Seeing this Xue Ying couldnʼt help but look admiringly at this cool Major General Drake. If not because he learned that Marshal Janus is not really their enemy but their ally, Xue Ying would have misunderstood this person.

With a thankfully smile on his face, Xue Ying said. ”Iʼm sorry about Major General Drake.”

”No worries. If itʼs a family secret it is normal for me to step back. I will protect the children for you so you can focus on the meeting for a while. Now I have time to woo my wife~” said Major General Drake while whistling as he walks out of the camp.

As soon as Major General Drake is out, Feng Yang couldnʼt help but comment.

”He is really doing his best to court Feng Wu. If they got married he would become a family as well,” said Feng Yang.

King Regulus Zenith responded, ”If that happens all great clans will be connected by marriage and things would be easier as the other noble factions would finally shut up.”

”Indeed. Those old things are getting more annoying as they age,” said Nova Seren.

Major General Lin jokes, ”Let this old man present the older generation and apologize to you brats. Hahaha~”

The atmosphere in the main tent had lightened a bit but it didnʼt take long as Lieutenant General Xue Ying told everyone the details of the events that took place in the forest a few moments ago.

As expected, once Xue Ying finished telling everyone what happened their expression turned grim and Feng Yang was rendered speechless. Especially about the part where his younger brother can awaken someoneʼs bloodline and allow them to mix someoneʼs bloodline.

He was stunned as no one in the family could do such an absurd thing but now his cousin is telling him that his baby brother did all that. Moreover, whatʼs with those dark clouds and huge thunder Xue Ying had just told him. It is more like a divine punishment just based on the descriptions.

Feng Yang exclaimed, ”You are saying Xiao Jing did all those??!! He awakened your dormant phoenix bloodline which allowed you to share your only chance of rebirth to give it to your lover. This is impossible! Even my grandfather is not able to do this.”

”But Xiao Jing says his bloodline is the purest, plus he is a guide with above SSS ranked capabilities. I do think this is possible,” commented King Regulus Zenith.

Nova Seren totally agreed with King Zenithʼs words. ”If this is true then that means Jingjing had also helped the Marshal to further awaken his bloodline. That scene when youʼve said that is akin to darkness descending might be the Marshalʼs doing. That dark cloud must have been destroyed by him as well.” she said.

Feng Yang said, ”I am not talking about the awakening of bloodline! What I am shocked about is Xiao Jing mixing it. No one can do such a thing. If there is a technology to do so it might be believable but he did nothing of such. But didnʼt Ying say his and Student Lin Yvenʼs bloodline were mixed by my younger brother? I want to check. If this is real then... we cannot tell anyone about it.”

Only after thinking about it seriously could they finally understand Feng Yangʼs source of bewilderedness. Xue Ying just told them that Feng Jing made a cut on both their hands and did something to mix their bloodlines. This allowed Lin Yven to have a direct connection to the Phoenix bloodline allowing him to be legible to use the special skills only a direct descendant of Feng could use. Even when the blood of Feng is dormant in Xue Yingʼs body, he wasnʼt able to use the Feng Bloodline in him but with Feng Jingʼs help, both he and Lin Yven were suddenly able to use it.

This is like an action made by a Godly being. Changing someoneʼs bloodline is like changing someoneʼs destined fate. That dark cloud and thunder must have been a divine punishment. Feng Jing who had done the taboo was targeted by it. If they think about it like this, the explanation behind the weird clouds in the middle of the night can be explained. But what makes Feng Jing us? A prophet? Messaid or the God itself. These are the thoughts of everyone in the area.

Silence descended in the tent. No one was speaking at this realization is a bit hard to accept. While everyone is in their deepest thoughts someone suddenly spoke from outside the tent.

It was Feng Yue, the wife of King Regulus Zenith, ”Dear~, are you in? Can I come for a while? There is something weird going on in the Imperial Palace.” she said.

As a descendant from one of the great clans, Feng Yueʼs appearance is extremely well known that none of the soldiers on guard stopped her from approaching the meeting area for their superiors.

The voice of Major General Drake can be heard as well but unlike the lady, he entered the tent and gestured for the titled Queen to enter before him.

”Something happened in the Imperial Palace, you should really see the letter. By the way, the Marshal and his wife had returned as well,” said Major General Drake.

Lieutenant General Xue Ying and the others were delighted that the real leader of this camp was back. When everyone looked at the entrance, Queen Feng Yue walked towards her husband with a face full of worries. While cold and expressionless Marshal Sirius stood beside Major General Drake.

”M-Mar----...”

Xue Ying was about to call his boss when he saw that the atmosphere around the Marshal had changed to something human. It makes him or the others look directly at his face. They collectively saluted politely by instinct.

”Salutes to the Marshal!”

A tone that was devoid of all emotion and voice full of indifference and detachment echoed in the tent paired with firm footsteps which made everyone nervous.

”Take your seat. The meeting will continue,” said Marshal Sirius as he took the lead position of the table which Xue Ying had left vacant for him.

The atmosphere inside the tent had become not only quiet but also smothering and confining. Everyone could only follow the orders and remain silent until the cold man at the center position spoke.
