The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 742: Chapter 753: If You Say It Again, I’ll Kiss You

”That’s wonderful!” Xia Zhennan exclaimed excitedly, almost unable to contain himself.

Xia Xiaonuan quickly added, ”Dad, I think this Mr. Situ matches my sister perfectly. Mr. Situ, look at you, tall, handsome, and wealthy, and my sister is equally beautiful and charming. Once you meet her, you’ll definitely fall in love at first sight!”

The air was filled with the sweet and sour smell of fish, slightly tangy.

Situ Yan put down the teapot in his hand and calmly looked at Xia Zhennan. ”Mr. Xia, if your elder daughter looks exactly like this beautiful younger daughter, then I think I would certainly fall for her.”

Xia Xiaonuan almost choked.

”My sister... is much prettier than me!” She glared at Situ Yan angrily.

”Unfortunately, the type I like is precisely this kind of Miss Xia.” Situ Yan said with a faint smile.

Embarrassment flashed across Xia Zhennan’s face.

”Xiaonuan... you’re back?” Xia Xiaonuan turned around to see Mrs. Xia coming down the stairs, dressed in a long dress and draped in a red cashmere shawl, clearly having dressed up to meet Situ Yan.

She was holding a photo album in her hand.

Xia Xiaonuan hurried forward when she saw it.

Seeing that the album contained photos of Xia Xinmei, she couldn’t help but twitch.

”Mom, you got all of my sister’s photos out?”

”Just now, Mr. Situ wanted to see my daughter, so I called you back. But since your sister isn’t in the country... I found her photos instead.”

Xia Xiaonuan hastily took the album.

She walked to the sofa and thrust the album into Situ Yan’s lap.

”Mr. Situ, take a look at my sister. She’s very beautiful. Once you see her, you’ll definitely be captivated!”

Situ Yan’s face turned somewhat grim, and without even glancing at the album, he looked at Xia Xiaonuan with an icy gaze, a faint smile on his lips. ”So, the second Miss Xia likes arranging marriages for others. I wonder, how is Miss Xia’s own marriage situation?”

Xia Xiaonuan’s expression twitched.

Xia Zhennan quickly stepped in, ”Um... dinner is ready. Mr. Situ, how about we eat first and then look at the pictures...”

”Xiaonuan... take Mr. Situ to wash his hands.”

Xia Xiaonuan: ”...”

In the bathroom.

Xia Xiaonuan glared at Situ Yan, who was washing his hands, and whispered, ”Didn’t I tell you that I’d come to you after finishing up? Why did you come to my house?”

Situ Yan stared into the mirror, his face expressionless. ”Your father invited me here for business. Don’t worry, even if the Nangong Family falls out with the Xia Family, your family won’t face bankruptcy.”

”Our Xia Family doesn’t need your help!” This is like a weasel paying New Year’s greetings to a hen!

”Besides, even if your father didn’t invite me, I should still come and pay my respects to my future father-in-law, right?”

Xia Xiaonuan said coldly, ”You’re dreaming. I’ll never marry you!”

”Why? Do you think I can’t win your heart?”

”Of course!” Xia Xiaonuan laughed. ”But seriously, my sister Xia Xinmei is really much prettier than me. Why don’t you...”

Before she could finish her sentence, he suddenly grabbed her hand and pinned her hard against the bathroom wall.

”Xia Xiaonuan, say one more word, and I’ll kiss you!” His eyes remained calm, yet anger erupted like a volcano.

Xia Xiaonuan’s back ached from the impact, but she said coldly, ”This is my house. If you act rashly, the police will throw you out!”
