The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 726: Chapter 737: You are the little piggy

He directly grabbed her arm and eagerly said, ”Hurry up.”

Xia Xiaonuan didn’t want to dampen his spirits, so she reluctantly lay down beside him.

Nangong Yaoling reached out and brushed the hair off her forehead, tucking it behind her ear.

Xia Xiaonuan watched as the man, with a serious expression on his handsome face, opened the lid of the medicine bottle and squeezed out the ointment onto his hand. However, he pressed too hard and a large amount of ointment nearly dripped down.

”Oh...” Xia Xiaonuan exclaimed softly.

Nangong Yaoling quickly reached out with his other hand to catch the ointment.

He glanced at her awkwardly and, with a childlike smile, said, ”Squeezed out too much...”

Xia Xiaonuan: ”...”

”But if you apply a little more, it will heal faster...”

He directly smeared the large amount of ointment under her eye, then looked at her and said, ”Close your eyes.”

Xia Xiaonuan obediently closed her eyes, a rare display of compliance.

The man’s fingertip gently spread the ointment around her eye, applying it carefully bit by bit.

Xia Xiaonuan frowned and said, ”Isn’t it too much?”

”It’s okay, applying it thicker is fine.”

”...”

The ointment was cool and had a strange fragrance that mingled with his scent, filling the air around them.

His fingertip moved in circles around her eye, the motion light and gentle, as if giving her a massage.

It felt very comfortable.

Xia Xiaonuan felt herself almost drifting off to sleep, but he was still applying the ointment.

She opened her eyes and saw him frowning, his face looking increasingly displeased.

”What’s wrong?” she asked. ”Not done yet?”

Nangong Yaoling smiled. ”Almost... This ointment is hard to spread...”

Xia Xiaonuan suspiciously sat up, and since there was no mirror around, she took out her phone and turned on the selfie function.

She saw a thick layer of white ointment around her right eye, applied messily.

Xia Xiaonuan: ”...”

”Not done yet, don’t look.” Nangong Yaoling snatched her phone away.

Xia Xiaonuan’s face went blank. She pulled out a tissue and said, ”Too much! Pighead!” She said, both annoyed and amused; this young master really hadn’t done anything before, not even knowing how to apply ointment properly.

Did he really think such a thick layer would be evenly spread and absorbed?

”What did you say?” Nangong Yaoling suddenly asked, his voice hoarse, looking at her.

Xia Xiaonuan wiped away some of the ointment and, staring at the screen, said, ”I said it’s too much...”

”No, the next sentence.”

The next sentence?

”Pighead?”

Nangong Yaoling chuckled, lifted her chin, and looked at her proudly. ”Then you’re a little piglet~”

Xia Xiaonuan’s face darkened.

Little piglet?

Only he could come up with that!

”How am I a little piglet? A piglet is a newborn piglet, okay?”

”In my eyes, you’re like a newborn piglet, cute but hard to take care of!”

Xia Xiaonuan: ”...”

She gave him an exasperated look, a blush creeping over her cheeks.

”How am I hard to take care of?”

”Still clingy, always want a nibble!”

”...”

”Alright...” Seeing how unreliable he was becoming, Xia Xiaonuan closed her injured eye and asked, ”How is it now?”

Nangong Yaoling cupped her face and gave her a firm kiss on the lips.

”Hmm, it’s okay! But there are still some parts not fully spread.” He said, reaching out again to help her even it out.

Xia Xiaonuan, with her eyes closed, couldn’t help but smile.

”What are you smiling about?” Nangong Yaoling suddenly lowered his head and asked hoarsely in her ear.

Xia Xiaonuan suddenly opened her eyes and coldly asked, ”When was I smiling?”
