The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 741: Chapter 752: You Two Are a Good Match

A faint scent of tobacco lingered in the air.

Xia Xiaonuan smiled, ”You’ve already been discharged from the hospital. It’s time to fulfill your promise, right?”

Nangong Yaoling looked at her deeply, gritting his teeth, ”Are you so eager to leave me?”

”Is there any point in talking about this now?” Xia Xiaonuan said faintly.

Nangong Yaoling let go of her.

At this moment, his phone rang.

He glanced at the screen and was slightly taken aback.

Xia Xiaonuan saw that it was Jiang Xue’s name displayed.

Her eyes dimmed slightly.

Nangong Yaoling directly pressed to hang up the call.

The call came again, and he hung up once more.

This repeated more than ten times.

Xia Xiaonuan’s face turned dark.

She admired Jiang Xue’s persistence.

”Why don’t you answer the call?” Xia Xiaonuan asked, looking at his darkened face.

Nangong Yaoling’s face was taut, and his chin was arrogantly tense. After a long time, he spat out a few words, ”I like it.”

Xia Xiaonuan: ”...”

Knowing he was angry, she didn’t want to argue with him.

She just looked at the sunshine outside the window and smiled, ”The weather is nice today.”

Nangong Yaoling glanced gloomily out the window and said sullenly, ”The weather is not nice at all today.”

Xia Xiaonuan: ”...”

The car finally dropped her off home, and Nangong Yaoling went to the office.

Xia Xiaonuan put away her personal items brought back from the hospital.

Then she received a call from Mrs. Xia.

She was asked to come home for lunch because there were guests.

Xia Xiaonuan was stunned, as she hadn’t been home in a while, so she agreed.

She didn’t call for a driver, but instead took a taxi home.

As soon as she entered, she smelled the aroma of food filling the house.

Xia Zhennan was in the living room, warmly chatting with someone.

”Second Miss, you’re back,” the butler said, smiling.

Xia Xiaonuan nodded.

Xia Zhennan said, ”Xiaonuan, come here. Let me introduce you to someone.”

Xia Xiaonuan approached curiously and was taken aback at the sight of the man sitting on the sofa.

Her face turned very unpleasant.

”Xiaonuan... this is Mr. Situ. Last time, when Dad’s company was in trouble, it was thanks to his help. Today, it’s rare for Mr. Situ to honor us with his presence, so I specially invited him over for a meal.”

Situ Yan smiled and extended his hand to Xia Xiaonuan, ”Miss Xia is very beautiful. It’s nice to meet you.”

Xia Xiaonuan, with a dark expression, shook hands with Situ Yan.

She glared at him fiercely. Situ Yan remained completely natural, showing no discomfort at all.

At this moment, Xia Zhennan said, ”Mr. Situ, I have another daughter who is currently abroad. She is also very beautiful. When she returns, I will surely introduce you two!”

”Just by looking at your younger daughter, I’m sure the older one is just as delightful!”

Xia Zhennan beamed, ”Our Xinmei isn’t married yet.”

Situ Yan was taken aback and quickly said, ”Is that so?”

Xia Xiaonuan watched her father, internally wondering if Xia Zhennan wanted to match Xia Xinmei with Situ Yan.

However, this was quite interesting! She felt that Xia Xinmei and Situ Yan were quite suited for each other.

Both very scheming!

Xia Xiaonuan sat down and said, ”Dad, why not wait until my sister returns, and then invite Mr. Situ over for a proper meeting?”

Situ Yan looked at Xia Xiaonuan without expression, but a trace of thin anger flashed in his eyes.

”Yes, yes... I’m just afraid it might be a bit presumptuous... Mr. Situ, you are still unmarried, right?”

Situ Yan sipped his tea and nodded, ”Yes...”
