The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 135: Chapter 137 Missing 2

Xia Xiaonuan couldn’t help but look at Nangong Zhongli with admiration in her heart.

The girl that Nan Mo likes is indeed not simple. Just this aura alone is not something ordinary women can compare to.

But, where did that little bit of sourness in her heart come from?

In the end, the bodyguard couldn’t resist Nangong Zhongli’s majesty and gun, and let her go.

After leaving the villa, Xia Xiaonuan suggested calling Nangong Feihong first. Knowing the situation, Nangong Feihong immediately agreed and promised he would send someone to search. He also mentioned he would check out the bars and nightclubs that Liang Shaochen used to frequent and told them not to worry.

Afterwards, Xia Xiaonuan returned to the Xia Family. Xia Zhennan, upon learning of her request, also agreed to send someone to search. However, he reminded her that the Xia Family’s manpower was limited, and even the Nangong Family couldn’t find someone, so it might be difficult for him as well.

Xia Xiaonuan didn’t care about these details.

As long as someone was willing to help.

Xia Xiaonuan specifically went to the hotel where she had last seen Liang Shaochen. Upon learning at the front desk that President Liang had not come to the hotel recently, she left the hotel in despair.

She wandered alone through the streets and alleys of the city.

Until nightfall, there was still no news of Liang Shaochen.

From Nangong Zhongli and Feihong’s side, there was no news of him either.

The airport had no records of Liang Shaochen traveling or crossing borders, proving that he had not left Amelia City.

Xia Xiaonuan hailed a cab and walked along the street, with tears streaming down her cheeks.

She didn’t dare to imagine what she would do if something happened to Liang Shaochen.

What reason would she have to continue living?

It was initially to find him that she accidentally crossed into this body.

Now, if God were to let her only hope shatter, she really wouldn’t know how to carry on.

In her childhood, she often played hide and seek with the children from the orphanage. Back then, no matter where she hid, Liang Shaochen could always find her.

Liang Shaochen once held her hand and said, ”Xiaonuan, no matter where you hide, I’ll always find you!”

At that time, Xia Xiaonuan was both angry and helpless. Because everyone else couldn’t find her, she was quite proud, but as soon as Nan Mo stepped in, she was immediately found.

Once, during a game of hide and seek, to prevent Nan Mo from finding her, she actually ran to a church several kilometers away.

She stayed in the church the whole day, her stomach growling with hunger, still feeling proud that this time Nan Mo didn’t find her.

She thought that when she returned, she would laugh at her.

In the end, as it was getting dark, Nan Mo still appeared.

She fell asleep on a bench in the church, only to be yanked awake by Nan Mo.

”Qiqi!” Nan Mo yelled at her:

”Do you know that the dean and I have been looking for you all day! Do you know how worried we were!”

She was so scared, she had never seen Nan Mo so angry. She burst into tears, and upon seeing her cry, Nan Mo started crying as well.

He cried while tightly hugging her.

”Qiqi, from now on, don’t scare me! Don’t hide to the point where I can’t find you!”

”Why are you yelling at me! You scared me!” Xia Xiaonuan cried loudly, accusing Nan Mo.

Nan Mo let go of her, crying while wiping her tears: ”I’m sorry... I was wrong, I shouldn’t have yelled at you... Qiqi, brother Nan Mo is bad, don’t cry...”

The last thing Xia Xiaonuan said while hugging Nan Mo was: ”Brother Nan Mo, I’m hungry...”
