The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 115: Chapter 117 【117】Actually saying his skills are poor 1

Xia Xiaonuan also smiled:

”Although I’ll be criticized by everyone, I think those who understand the truth will realize that it’s just acting. It has nothing to do with my personal morality.

Furthermore, I know that to become an outstanding actor, you can’t care too much about these things.

As long as the audience remembers me, that’s the first step towards entering the entertainment industry.”

Jin Zhengyuan heard her words, and a flash of surprise appeared in his eyes:

”Miss Xia, you’ve changed a lot. I remember before, you wouldn’t consider a role even slightly negative.”

Xia Xiaonuan smiled a bit awkwardly.

Because she wasn’t the Xia Xiaonuan of the past!

Actually, she could understand the former Xia Xiaonuan because she was originally a daughter of a prestigious family, not lacking in money, and didn’t need a career.

She was wholeheartedly in love with her beloved man, and naturally didn’t want to ruin her image for a role, especially in Nangong Yaoling’s eyes.

The former Xia Xiaonuan lived so cautiously, which ultimately led to her untimely end.

However, there was one thing she never understood; how could such a weak Xia Xiaonuan summon the courage to commit suicide?

But everyone said she committed suicide, even Nangong Yaoling didn’t doubt it, so it shouldn’t be a misunderstanding.

Given Xia Xiaonuan’s personality, it was even less likely someone wanted to harm her.

It seems that either you erupt in silence or perish in silence. This saying has some truth to it.

”Miss Xia?”

Xia Xiaonuan came back to her senses and quickly said, ”Director Jin, last time it was my own fault for not seizing the opportunity. I’m already very grateful that you’re willing to help me this time. Why would I be annoyed? Also, please just call me Xiaonuan. Calling me Miss Xia feels too formal...”

”Alright then.” Jin Zhengyuan gave her a complex look and nodded.

Next was the audition.

Xia Xiaonuan’s role was originally a good person, but she turned bad after being bullied from the start.

Her co-star was the second female lead, named Fang Wan.

Xia Xiaonuan had seen her before and watched her movies.

Fang Wan’s acting was decent, but she was very arrogant. Xia Xiaonuan made a few mistakes and was mocked by her.

”Have you even acted before? At this moment, you can’t truly show pain; you should struggle first to highlight the character.”

Xia Xiaonuan humbly accepted, ”Thank you, Fang Wan.”

”Sis? No, I don’t dare accept that. I’m probably not much older than you, right? You’re pretty close with Director Jin, aren’t you? You didn’t even need to go through the audition and got straight to the trial scene.”

Xia Xiaonuan just smiled without rebutting.

”Xiaonuan, you graduated from XX Academy and then married into a wealthy family. Is your life so blissful that your acting has become a bit rusty?” Jin Zhengyuan noticed her tension and joked.

Xia Xiaonuan blushed with embarrassment, noticing the disappointment in Director Jin’s eyes, and hurriedly said, ”Sorry, Director Jin.”

”It’s alright, although your movements are a bit stiff, your gaze is very expressive, and your emotions are in place. Practice a few more times and you’ll be fine. After all, you have the experience.” Jin Zhengyuan encouraged.

Other actors hearing Jin Zhengyuan’s words looked at Xia Xiaonuan differently.

Even Fang Wan’s arrogance softened, looking at Xia Xiaonuan with more apprehension and complexity.

Married into a wealthy family? Who is this woman really?
