The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 49: Chapter 49: Dating with Feihong

The next morning, Xia Xiaonuan was still in bed when Yun came to call her. She said there was a guest.

Xia Xiaonuan was stunned. She got up with a sore body, washed up, and went downstairs to see Nangong Feihong sitting in the living room.

Nangong Feihong was wearing a pair of ripped jeans and a black polo shirt. His hair was a bit long, tied in a small ponytail at the back, with a headband on top. He looked like a stylish street thug.

Although not exactly handsome, he definitely had a unique charm.

Seeing Xia Xiaonuan coming down, he quickly got up from the sofa, showing a neat row of teeth: ”Xiaonuan!”

Xia Xiaonuan was a bit surprised: ”It’s you?”

”Xiaonuan, how have you been lately?” Nangong Feihong asked. He seemed a bit tanned and thinner.

Xia Xiaonuan smiled: ”I’m fine. Why are you here?”

Yun brought in some fruit, and Nangong Feihong said angrily, ”Isn’t it all because of Nangong Yaoling? He told Grandpa about what happened last time, and I was punished to help out at the resort for half a month. I almost got sunburned! I just managed to escape.”

Xia Xiaonuan’s face darkened. She didn’t expect Nangong Yaoling to tattle. But Nangong Feihong was quite a character, coming to see her after ’escaping.’

In general, anyone related to the Nangong Family was peculiar.

”Xiaonuan, has he bullied you lately?” Nangong Feihong asked, looking at her anxiously.

”I’m fine,” Xia Xiaonuan laughed, thinking about how Nangong Yaoling had bullied her so much she didn’t know which way was north. But considering Nangong Feihong’s personality, it was better not to say it.

”Let me take you out for a meal,” Nangong Feihong said with a smile. ”You must have just woken up, you little lazybones!” He said, tapping her forehead twice with his hand, revealing two dimples as he laughed.

Xia Xiaonuan felt a bit embarrassed, thinking about how Nangong Yaoling had tormented her until late last night. She didn’t even remember how she got back to her bedroom. Her face flashed an awkward expression as she quickly said, ”Sure, I was just getting hungry.”

Just as they were about to leave, Yun stopped Xia Xiaonuan.

”Miss... if you go out with Young Master Feihong like this, Mr. Nangong might not be happy,” Yun reminded her softly.

”It’s okay, Yun. Do I not have the freedom to go out? I just want to chat about the old days with him!” Xia Xiaonuan replied with a smile.

Although they hadn’t met many times, Xia Xiaonuan instinctively felt a sense of familiarity with Nangong Feihong. She had no friends after becoming someone else. Even before, coming out of the orphanage, she lost touch with friends after graduating college.

She really wanted someone to talk to.

Yun hesitated for a moment but still said, ”Then come back early with Young Master Feihong.”

”Don’t worry, Yun.”

Nangong Feihong brought Xia Xiaonuan to a seafood buffet. The whole restaurant was rotating, with three floors, each offering different food. There were all kinds of French desserts, cakes, beef, seafood, and various cuisines.

Xia Xiaonuan had never been to such a place; she found it both fresh and interesting. They took their food, enjoying the view of the sea and the delicious meal, feeling exceptionally comfortable.

Nangong Feihong, seeing her curious expression, laughed: ”I used to bring you here often. Do you remember? You loved the salad here. You were always on a diet and ate little meat.”
