The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 7: Chapter 7: That Was Done Long Ago, Right?

His movements seemed as if his hand was touching her.

So, she quickly stretched out her hand and vigorously rubbed her lips with the back of her hand.

Nangong Yaoling raised his eyebrows.

”You are my wife. Treating you like this is only right,” his tone turned icy and intimidating.

Feeling deep dissatisfaction inside, he wondered if this woman was rejecting him?

But seeing her furrowed brow and flushed face, looking like a fluffy little wild cat, he suddenly found it amusing.

So he added, ”Whether or not you remember the past, you are still my wife, and I have the right to fulfill marital duties.”

His words carried a certain implication, and his gaze became fiery, teasing to the extreme.

Xia Xiaonuan thought of something and was completely dumbfounded.

Oh no...!

If the owner of this body was his wife, then they must have already... done that, right?

For some reason, thinking about this, she recalled that night five years ago.

Although she had such experiences, that particular time was not her intention. Over the years, she had always cherished her body.

She thought that by doing so, she could preserve a bit of dignity deep within her heart, believing that she was not that dirty.

But now... even that pathetic self-comfort was gone!

She whimpered, almost wanting to cry but couldn’t shed tears.

At this moment, however, Nangong Yaoling stepped forward, grabbed her body, his long fingers brushed against her cheek, his eyes glowing with ambiguous flames: ”Blushing like this, honey, did you recall something and feel shy?”

”No!” Xia Xiaonuan moved her face away awkwardly, keeping her distance from him, and shouted angrily: ”You pervert, get away from me!”

This man, aside from having a deceitfully good appearance, was utterly detestable!

Arrogant and self-centered, with a perverted mind!

Poor her almost being deceived by his looks moments ago!

Indeed, the prettier the mushroom, the more poisonous it is, and men are the same!

”Miss... you can’t talk to sir like that,” Yun gently scolded her in her ear.

Xia Xiaonuan snorted coldly, glaring fiercely at Nangong Yaoling.

Nangong Yaoling looked at her flushed but stubborn face, a strange itch tingled deep inside him.

Why did he find the amnesiac Xia Xiaonuan more interesting?

The previous wife who only clung to him, trying to please him all the time, made him wish he could stay far away!

Nangong Yaoling still wanted to tease her more, but he thought of something and snapped his fingers towards the door.

Soon, a middle-aged doctor walked in, performed a series of examinations on Xia Xiaonuan, took off the stethoscope, and respectfully turned to Nangong Yaoling, saying: ”Young Master, the Young Lady’s body is recovering. It might be that when she fell into the pool... her head was hit, causing blood clots in her brain, which led to her amnesia... Such cases are quite common in medicine.”

Nangong Yaoling asked coldly, ”How long will it take for her to remember her past?”

”It’s hard to say... The patient might have selective amnesia, selectively forgetting some unpleasant events in her mind, and when she can recall them depends on her subconscious and thoughts.”

Nangong Yaoling’s thin lips pressed together, his profound gaze glanced at Xia Xiaonuan.
