The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 3: Chapter 3 A Beautiful Man

”Xia Xiaonuan, did you hear that? This is the person you’ve been thinking about day and night! He doesn’t care about your life or death! You big idiot!”

It’s that man again, he screamed hysterically, his voice gradually fading away.

Someone moved to the bedside, the man carrying a faint scent of tobacco, strangely pleasant.

How did that person know she was called Xia Xiaonuan?

Just then, more footsteps echoed, a doctor stepped forward and said respectfully: ”Young Master, please allow me to examine Miss Xia again.”

”Alright.”

With permission granted, the person moved forward, flipped her eyelids, then used equipment to continue examining her body.

Xia Xiaonuan was utterly confused, the smell of disinfectant filled the air, was this place a hospital? Does heaven have hospitals?

And who was this imposing man beside her?

Finally, she mustered all her strength to open her eyes, and as a beam of white light slid across her vision, through that light she saw the face of a man with handsome features, like a sculpture.

The man had sword-like eyebrows and star-like eyes, exuding a noble aura. His tall and straight posture sat by the bed, beautiful hands folded, his whole being radiated an aura of aristocracy and rebellion.

His cold eyes condensed into ice, currently fixed on a certain point ahead.

Such a beautiful man!

Xia Xiaonuan couldn’t help but tremble, she had never seen such a handsome man in her entire life, except in movies!

Actually, the most handsome man she had encountered before was Nan Mo. But Nan Mo was the clean and warm type, like the spring breeze of April, silently nurturing, like a warm cup of milk, a feeling of comfort.

However, the man in front of her was like a glass of vodka, cold and crisp, just a small taste would reveal a fiery stimulation.

Especially those dark eyes, like a deep pool, a whirlpool that seemed ready to engulf her with just one more glance.

”Young Master, the Young Mistress didn’t just hit her head, she’s been frightened, causing her to remain unconscious. I hope you... Young Mistress she...!”

The doctor was respectfully reporting to the man, his gaze happened to fall on the awakening Xia Xiaonuan, causing him to gasp in surprise.

The man’s deep gaze landed on Xia Xiaonuan’s face.

With just a brief collision of gazes, Xia Xiaonuan felt as if her heart was struck, an electric current seemed to spread through her body, her heartbeat skipped a beat.

However, the man’s eyes held a hint of coldness and distance... even... a touch of disdain.

Oh, he must think she’s infatuated, feeling rejected. Actually, she wasn’t infatuated, but waking up to such an incredibly handsome man, anyone would be stunned!

To prove she wasn’t infatuated, Xia Xiaonuan deliberately winked at him, making a face expressing what difference does it make being handsome.

The man seemed taken aback by her action, his brows furrowed, his back straightened.

Xia Xiaonuan quickly shifted her gaze arrogantly, this moment was crucial to not let him look down on her! No matter how good the man she encountered, Xia Xiaonuan’s heart belonged only to Nan Mo!

”She’s awake! Young Master, the Young Mistress is awake!” The doctor exclaimed joyfully, like the person lying on the bed was his own wife, then proceeded to examine her again, eyes gleaming as he looked at Nangong Yaoling: ”Everything is normal, this is simply a miracle! Young Master, congratulations! Congratulations!”
