New Age Of Summoners

”Just open it and check it out for yourself, Captain Edmond.”

With a slight smile on his face, Ajax asked Captain Edmond to open the golden-coloured book in his hands.

”Huh? Okay.”

The thing is, Captain Edmond expected an old tattered book; however, when he saw that Ajax take out a shining golden coloured book, he felt Ajax was mistaken about something.

Nevertheless, after seeing how confident Ajax was, Edmond decided to open the book and see whether there is Ancient Hermit refining technique inside the golden coloured book or not.

”This is really… the cultivation technique of the eight hidden families.”

Once Edmond opened the book and started reading it, he was able to confirm it was none other than the Ancient Hermit refining technique that belongs to the eight hidden families of the Zrochester province.

”This is very clear and very easy to understand.”

As Edmond continued to read the contents inside the golden book in his hands, he was completely shocked for a moment before becoming excited.

He was excited because with how detailed the contents inside the golden book, it would not take much time for him to cultivate it.

”Ajax, tell me exactly where you find this book? Don’t tell me that the old sect leader of the assassin sect was capable of doing something like this.”

Compared to the old tattered book he remembered seeing when he saw young, Edmond could definitely say that the Golden book didn’t belong to the hidden families; however, the contents inside were obviously the first part of the  Ancient Hermit refining technique.

Other than the members of the hidden families who underwent special training from a young age, no one would be able to cultivate this technique.

So, Edmond was very sure that the contents were definitely not written by the sect leader of the Assassin sect, making Edmond ask where he really got this book.

”Captain Edmond, I found a tattered old book in the space ring of that sect leader; however, my master briefly told me about its origins. Later, to thank you for taking care of me when I started my cultivation journey, he decided to note down the contents in this golden book.”

Ajax was never worried about the questions like these as he could throw all the credit to his mysterious master.

”That’s right! Your master. I was too excited and forgot about your master.”

Captain Edmond rubbed the back of his head with an embarrassed look on his face.

”So, you can cultivate it, right?”

Ajax shook his head as he asked Edmond about it.

”I am just waiting for the first part of the Ancient Hermit refining technique. With this, I can start my preparations to break through to the King realm.”

Captain Edmond was excited when he said those words because he could finally take revenge against the Fire sword sect for what they had done to him and his family.

”Ajax, let’s go back. The barrier might come at any moment now.”

Once Captain Edmond stored the golden book, he was filled with greater excitement; however, he didn’t forget that they still had to enter the Ylercester province.

”Let’s go.”

Since he had already given the golden book to Edmond, Ajax nodded his head and started walking back to the place where everyone was waiting for the barrier.

’Should I ask Ajax to help me with the second part of the Ancient Hermit refining technique too?’

While walking back, Captain Edmond thought of asking Ajax to help him in breaking down the second of the cultivation technique with the help of his powerful master.

However, in the next second, he hurriedly removed that because getting back part one of the Ancient Hermit refining technique was already a good thing for him, not to mention he got detailed notes on it.

Now, if he asks for more help from Ajax and his master, it would make him look greedy. So, he removed that thought and he decided to start cultivating the new cultivation named Ancient Hermit refining technique after entering the Ylercester province.

’Once I cultivate it in the next one month, I can come back to take my revenge on the fire sword sect.’

Edmond clenched his fists as he finally felt he could finish the revenge.

.....

Back at the border.

”Everyone, it is about time, the barrier will come here at any moment now. The moment you see the change in scenery in front of your eyes, just walk forward.”

In a flash, 29 minutes passed by and only one minute left before the barrier moved to the border of the middle section and the inner section of the cursed wilderness. So, the guild master warned everyone to be active.

Because the barrier would stay open for only a minute and if they miss the opportunity to enter the Ylercester province when the barrier was open, it would be difficult for them to go through another means.

”It’s here”

Finally, the last minute passed as everyone felt the earth was shaking a little for a moment and the scenery in front of them started changing.

Even though it still looked like a forest, it was different compared to the cursed wilderness and as the residents of the Zrochester province, they could say that it was definitely not the inner section of the cursed wilderness.

’So, this is what the guild master meant by his words ’It is better to see than to hear’.’

Ajax finally understood how the barrier works and it was a huge teleportation portal across the border between the middle section and the inner section of the cursed wilderness.

’Let’s go and see how this Ylercester province is.’

With that thought in his mind, Ajax decided to walk into the Ylercester province; however, suddenly, he stopped as he raised his brows.

’A mission? At a time like this?’

Ajax wanted to ignore it; however, the system informed him that it was an emergency mission with great reward.

’I will take a quick glance at the mission.’

With that thought in his head, Ajax opened the quest tab to check the mission.
