New Age Of Summoners

Seeing the mysterious smile, Ajax didn’t ask anything as he was very sure that the guild master was not going to tell him about it.

’Looks like I need to witness it with my own eyes to check regarding the barriers.’

With that thought in his head, Ajax continued to chat with the personal disciples of the vagrant cultivators.

Also, from time to time, Ajax and others could see the geniuses from the sects and the great families; however, they moved away from there after seeing the vagrant cultivators.

Since the barrier would be the same as the border of the two sections, it doesn’t matter for them where they were standing as they could enter from anywhere as long as the barrier opens when it coincides with the border of the middle section and the inner section.

They mostly feared that the assassin sect was destroyed by the vagrant cultivators and didn’t want to mess with them before going to the contest in the Ylercester province because it was way more important for their young geniuses’ future.

However, what they didn’t know was that Ajax alone destroyed the Assassin sect in the Zrochester province.

’Ajax, can we talk for a moment?’

As they were waiting for the barrier, Ajax heard Captain Edmond’s voice in his head.

’Yes.’

Nodding his head, Ajax walked towards Edmond.

He already knew what Edmond was going to say and it was thanking him for saving his sister and her husband.

”Ajax, I can’t thank you enough for saving my sister and her husband.”

Without any hesitation, Edmond bowed to Ajax as he thanked Ajax from the bottom of his heart.

”Captain Edmond, you helped me when I was clueless about the cultivation. There is no need to be so formal about it.”

Even though Ajax already expected Edmond to thank him, what he didn’t expect was that Captain Edmond would bow to him.

Generally, Captain Edmond was not the type to bow even to the guild master; however, now, he did it to someone who was much younger than himself.

From this, Ajax could tell how much he cared for his sister.

”But, still, I must at least do this as I don’t have very valuable things to give you.”

It was not that Captain Edmond didn’t have any valuable items; however, he knew that those items were not considered high-level at all for someone like Ajax who had a powerful master.

So, he didn’t dare to take them out to embarrass himself in front of everyone.

”Okay…okay.”

Ajax was speechless for a moment and could only nodded his head before transmitting his voice into Captain Edmond’s head, ’Captain Edmond, when I checked the space ring of the assassin sect’s sect leader, I found something called Ancient Hermit refining technique. I hope it might be useful to you.’

He didn’t dare to take out casually as there were others from the Zrochester province some distance away from them as he waited for Captain Edmond’s reply.

Since Captain Edmond already knew that it was Ajax who destroyed the assassin sect, Ajax was not worried about his secret.

’What?’

Captain Edmond was shocked for a moment and hurriedly asked, ’Which part is it? Is it first or second?’

’It is the first part. I don’t know whether you already have the first part or not but I thought to let you know about it.’

Ajax calmly replied to Edmond without any expression because he still didn’t know whether it could be useful to Captain Edmond or not.

’What? Part one? Are you sure about it?’

All of a sudden, Captain Edmond’s anxiousness turned into excitement as he asked Ajax to confirm whether he was sure about it.

’Should I bring it out?’

Ajax knew it was hard for Captain Edmond to believe. So, Ajax joked whether he should bring it out for him to see it.

’What? No…don’t do it.’

Seeing that Ajax was trying to take it out, Captain Edmond hurriedly stopped Ajax.

”Captain Edmond, what happened to you all of a sudden?”

”Did you hear any good news or what?”

”Why don’t you share it with us?”

Soon, all the vagrant cultivators and others who noticed the change in Captain Edmond’s emotions asked him curiously.

”What? It’s nothing.”

Seeing that he got caught by the others, Captain Edmond hurriedly changed the topic, ”It’s just that Ajax helped me with my sword dao in reaching the next grade.”

”What? Next grade means….did you reach grade 5 in your dword dao?”

The vagrant cultivators were shocked because they already knew that Edmond had a grade 4 sword dao.

Also, Captain Edmond didn’t lie when he said that because the reason he reached grade 5 sword dao was because of Ajax who gave him a grade 5 sword dao rune.

”Yes.”

Compared to revealing the Ancient Hermit refining technique, Captain Edmond felt it was better to reveal his grade 5 sword dao to divert the topic; otherwise, the vagrant cultivators would definitely find out that there was something fishy.

”However, he is also asking for some help regarding his sword dao. So, I am planning to show my sword dao before he participates in the contest.”

Using that as an excuse, Captain Edmond brought Ajax some distance away from that place.

”Come back quickly.”

Since Ajax was going to participate in the contest and if his doubt regarding the sword dao is cleared, he might achieve a breakthrough in his sword dao.

So, they didn’t say anything other than asking them to come back soon in order not to miss the chance to enter the Ylercester province.

….

”Now, take it out.”

After moving away from everyone, Captain Edmond excitedly asked Ajax to bring it out.

”Sure.”

Nodding his head, Ajax took a golden coloured book out of his inventory and with a slight smile on his face, he gave it to Captain Edmond.

”Th..this…is…”

Captain Edmond frowned because it was not what he was expecting and looked at Ajax with a confused look on his face.

”Just open it and check it out for yourself, Captain Edmond.”
