New Age Of Summoners

’Calm down…calm down.’

The old ancestor tried to calm himself down as he thought of something.

’Should I contact others? Even if they are alive, I don’t think they will be in any position to go against the emperor and that bastard ’Protector of the skies’.’

’Should I just hide and recover my strength?’

’Damn it…there is not a single option for me to escape from the emperor.’

The usual arrogant ancestor was no longer arrogant as he knew that he would die if the emperor of the purple stone world who was supposed to be dead was still alive.

The middle-aged man who was standing in front of the cross-legged ancestor was shocked when he saw how frustrated and anxious his ancestor looked right now.

’Why is he getting anxious? Are his past injuries acting up again?’

Other than guessing why his ancestor was acting like that after hearing about the contest in the Ylercester province.

’Whatever, if I try to pry too much into his life, nothing better will come out of it.’

As a person who knew more or less about the ancestor, the middle-aged man knew when to remain silent and when to ask questions.

So, he remained silent and waited for the ancestor to speak.

’Wait a second. Should I use that item?’

All of a sudden, the ancestor thought of something and without wasting any time, he looked at the middle-aged man before asking, ”How long will it take you to gather young men with elite general realm cultivation?”

”May I know the reason for the gathering? If I were to gather the young men in our sect, it would not even take an hour; however, if we were to gather the young men from outside, it would take a while.”

The middle-aged man could more or less guess the reason behind the ancestor’s request; however, he was not ready to send the young men from his sect to thier deaths knowingly.

So, he was hinting ancestor that he would gather the young men from the outside.

’This bastard. He was clearly shaking while saying those words; however, he has yet to reach the stage where sacrificing your own to become stronger.’

When he heard the  middle-aged man’s words, Ancestor cursed him; however, he suppressed his anger as he continued thinking, ’If I push him too much, it would only backfire on me as he was the only one that has power and listens to him.’

With that thought in his mind, the ancestor took a deep breath before saying, ”Just gather 100 young men with a minimum cultivation of level 1 elite general or higher as soon as possible. I am going to sacrifice them to summon the Assassin god.”

”Summoning the assassin god? Are there really gods in this world?”

The middle-aged man was shocked when he heard the ancestors wods as he asked after some hesitation.

”Little brat, just because your hair turned grey doesn’t make you old enough to know the secrets of the worlds and universe. For now, just follow my orders and one day you will become a cultivator that even the emperor realm cultivators could shiver just from hearing your name.”

The ancestor knew who to make use of the others and he intentionally didn’t say more things because he himself knew only a few things and if he said everything in one go, the middle-aged man would start doubting his ability in the future.

So, giving as little information is the only possible way for him to make that middle-aged man listen to his order.

”Sorry, Ancestor. I was just curious and crossed the line.”

The middle-aged man hurriedly apologized as he knew he was asking for too much.

”No problem. Now, go and complete the mission I gave you.”

Ancestor scoffed at the middle-aged man before sending out of the room.

’This bastard…I wonder what his face would look like if he ever found out that I didn’t even become an emperor realm expert in my life.’

Ancestor continued to scoff at the departing figure of the middle-aged man as he started planning his future.

’As long as I  sacrifice 100 young men and chant the spell, I might hopefully summon the assassin god. If it goes well, he might bless me with something that might help me recover my injuries and get a new body.’

Ancestor had never even tried that method before; however, in his current situation, if he didn’t do anything, he would be killed by the Emperor of the purple stone world sooner or later.

So, he wanted to try everything he could. Even if it means following the demonic path which was not his first time walking on it.

….

’Even though there is an assassin god statue in the sect, I never thought there would be a real assassin god.’

After coming out of the dark room, the middle aged man muttered to himself as he looked at the black staute in the distance.

The assassin sect used this so-called assassini got statute to make everyone loyal to the sect to the end of their lives.

Once they bow to the statue, they live for the sect and die for the sect.

’If not for my bloodline that can stop the hypnotised effect from the statue, I would have also become a mindless puppet for the sect.’

The middle aged man shuddered when he thought about it and continued thinking, ’Thinking back, that is the reason why the ancestor revealed all the secrets to become the sect master. However, the bastards that were sleeping in the underground would not let me make any important decisions regarding the sect by myself and also make me know my place.’

’That is the reason why I seek power to show those old bastards that I am not the one to be pushed to the edge.’

Clenching his fists, the middle-aged man left from that place and made himself busy with the mission he received from the ancestor.

….

In the Bloodline training grounds.

’Damn it…why the hell is this huge bird appeared above me again?’
