Beast Taming Clan: I Have a Jade Book

Chapter 363: Chapter 339: Tenacious Golden Falcon

Within the Stone Spirit Grotto Heaven, Ye Jingcheng once again stepped inside.

With the connection between the Grotto Heaven and the Main World, the Spiritual Energy within the Grotto Heaven noticeably became more abundant, even the Spirit Beasts turned exceptionally active.

In the distance, those twenty Thunder Rhinoceros Insects no longer harbored hostility towards Ye Jingcheng, instead, they curiously rotated in the air, emulating the Five Poison Bees.

Unexpectedly, they were the first to fly towards Ye Jingcheng.

Under the influence of the eagle-training strategy and the special Treasure Light, those juvenile Thunder Rhinoceros Insects quickly succumbed.

They even started learning the communication methods of the Five Poison Bees.

Their bodies, with Thunder Horns and broader belly sacs compared to the Five Poison Bees, made their aerial rotations appear particularly hilarious.

Unlike the Five Poison Bees whose belly sacs are merely ornamental, the belly sacs of the Thunder Rhinoceros Insects are the reservoirs for their Thunder Attribute Spiritual Power.

Previously, Ye Jingcheng judged whether the Thunder Rhinoceros Insects had depleted their Thunder Attribute Spiritual Power by observing this area.

Seeing this, Ye Jingcheng took out a few Spirit Transformation Pills, crushed them into Pill Powder, and let several Thunder Rhinoceros Insects share.

Then he retrieved some fresh Spirit Beast Flesh.

When each Thunder Rhinoceros Insect flew over, Ye Jingcheng hovered above the shell of the Thunder Rhinoceros Insect, beginning to infuse some Treasure Light.

While doing this, he also glanced at the distant Golden Falcon.

This Golden Falcon was truly a tough one; a month of eagle-training, much like the training in the Secret Realm, showed little progress, only deterring the Golden Falcon from attacking him.

But observing Ye Jingcheng’s gaze, there’s still some madness amidst the calmness.

Its posture remained on the pinnacle of the pavilion in the high skies, resembling a golden statue.

During this time, Ye Jingcheng also tried infusing some Treasure Light, but while the Golden Falcon accepted the Treasure Light, its attitude towards Ye Jingcheng remained unchanged.

Ye Jingcheng refused to give up; he truly didn’t believe this Golden Falcon could indefinitely resist temptation.

Moreover, he primarily focused on nurturing his four Lifebound Spirit Beasts at present, feeling not rushed concerning the Golden Falcon.

After feeding the Thunder Rhinoceros Insects, Ye Jingcheng commanded them to release a Thunder Net towards the sky; he had consulted several texts on the Thunder Net, though it wouldn’t greatly enhance the Thunder Rhinoceros Insects.

Nevertheless, it would gradually amplify their capabilities.

Additionally, if he progressively enhanced their Spiritual Wisdom, combined with them becoming Tier Two Thunder Insects in the future, even Late-stage Foundation Establishment Cultivators couldn’t overlook the formed Thunder Net.

After the Thunder Rhinoceros Insects released the Thunder Net, their wings flapped vigorously, demanding more Treasure Light.

Ye Jingcheng couldn’t figure out where these Thunder Rhinoceros Insects learned their haggling skills.

However, each time he infused Treasure Light, he was sparing; just like when he first tamed the Golden Scale Beast, he focused primarily on fostering loyalty in the short term.

He wasn’t in a hurry to catalyze the growth of the Thunder Rhinoceros Insects; Beast Taming requires extreme patience, and he naturally wouldn’t commit the error of haste.

Moreover, there’s no immediate solution for crafting Thunder Rhinoceros Pills.

Once a Thunder Rhinoceros Insect grew plump, Ye Jingcheng directed it to fall into the Array.

Afterward, he surveyed the entire Grotto Heaven.

At this moment, the Spirit Medicine Garden’s herbs appeared resplendent in Spiritual Light, growing lushly.

Compared to when they were first transplanted, they improved significantly; even the Purple Jade Vine, in this month’s period, had half of its form bathing in purple light, while the other half, though withering, hadn’t completely lost its green vitality.

Even its size increased somewhat.

This indicated that under the nourishment of the Spiritual Eye Spring, the Purple Jade Vine could smoothly grow to fruition.

This dispelled many of his doubts.

Other Spirit Medicines exhibited similarly robust growth.

Particularly, the body of the Peach Wood Demon seemed aware it wouldn’t require frequent relocations in the future; its roots have occupied most of the Grotto Heaven.

Only the Spirit Medicine Garden and the region Ye Jingcheng instructed to remain clear were spared its roots.

The tree didn’t merely use a few sparse leaves for decoration but had dense layers of lush Spirit Leaves, packed closely, with some sporting sparkling Spirit Patterns.

This often attracted the Three-Colored Cloud Deer to hop over for a glance.

Ye Jingcheng was quite pleased seeing this; he didn’t mind the Wood Demon occupying most of the resources, he was rather glad to witness such growth.

After all, the Spirit Fruit borne by the Peach Wood Demon can increase longevity.

Whether used personally or otherwise, it’s an excellent direction.

However, the Wood Demon’s power growth seemed slow; its unique situation couldn’t be helped as the Spirit Pills suitable for Demon Beasts and Cultivators had much less impact on the Wood Demon’s growth, plus its cultivation system deviates considerably from Spirit Beasts and Cultivators.

The Ye Family lacks particularly high-grade Spirit Liquid, this requires concocting some solutions later.

Once Ye Jingcheng ensured there were no issues within the Grotto Heaven, he directed his gaze to the Golden Scale Beast beneath the summit.

Today he entered primarily for the Golden Scale Beast.

At the moment, a dense array of Earth Spike stakes lay before the Golden Scale Beast; each of these stakes was conjured by the Earth Spike Skill.

After instructing the Golden Scale Beast to receive Spirit Pills in several days, the Golden Scale Beast naturally practiced the Earth Spike Skill and Cloud Fall Star Rock Spell on the wasteland.

Once it released the Earth Spikes, it would sprint atop the Earth Spike stakes.

Though Ye Jingcheng didn’t supplement it with Treasure Light, from its spirited eyes, one could almost envision the Golden Scale Beast galloping through the Grotto Heaven in the future.

Frankly, Ye Jingcheng desired to inform the Golden Scale Beast that after consuming the Golden Scale Pill, it still couldn’t rival the Jade Qilin Flood Dragon, Red Flame Fox, or Golden Falcon.

Yet, at least among his Spirit Beasts, the Golden Scale Beast was the most proactive.

“Come over!” Ye Jingcheng beckoned to the Golden Scale Beast.

At that moment, the Golden Scale Beast seemed just past exhaustion, transforming into a streak of Golden Light as it galloped over.

Ye Jingcheng pressed his palm against the Golden Scale Beast’s forehead, beginning to infuse Treasure Light; the Golden Scale Beast lacked Spiritual Energy, and it wasn’t the opportune moment for consuming the Golden Scale Pill.

Its condition needed to be restored first.

At this moment, he didn’t need to save the Treasure Light.

He used the Treasure Light to assist the Golden Scale Beast, as he wanted to see what the Pill Patterns could bring to it.

Once the Golden Scale Beast was healed, Ye Jingcheng took out an Inner Core of the Armor-Piercing Beast, along with some of its flesh.

Although it might be more cost-effective to refine the Golden King Pill now, during this advancement, he wouldn’t be stingy.

The Golden Scale Beast devoured everything voraciously, and once it finished eating, Ye Jingcheng directly fed it the Golden Scale Pill with Pill Patterns.

As the Golden Scale Pill was swallowed, a dazzling golden light erupted from the Golden Scale Beast’s body.

It let out a few low growls.

It seemed somewhat painful, but soon the intense golden light had already enveloped it.

The Golden Scale Beast also fell into a deep slumber of advancement.

Seeing this, Ye Jingcheng perceived the Divine Soul of the Golden Scale Beast and found that other than the intense pain, there were no other manifestations.

Ye Jingcheng was relieved.

However, at this moment, he noticed a change in the eyes of the Golden Falcon in the sky. For the first time, it flew up, circling and soaring in the air.

Ye Jingcheng understood that the Golden Falcon was observing the Golden Scale Beast.

It was evidently very intelligent, aware that the Golden Scale Beast was undergoing a transformation.

But it didn’t understand why the Golden Scale Beast suddenly entered this transformative state.

Ye Jingcheng didn’t pay it any mind; there was still a long time to tame the falcon.

Afterwards, he went to the Spirit Medicine Garden to begin cultivating the Vajra Vine Seeds.

He had previously purchased ten Vajra Vine Seeds, used three, and had seven left. The sprouted seeds could not be bred further, so he planned to plant three in the Secret Realm.

The remaining four were to be refined into Cyan Wood Spirit Seeds.

These Cyan Wood Spirit Seeds paired with his Treasure Light were as powerful as Talisman Treasures, but without the need for refining.

If cultivated alongside his God-Breaking Needle Secret Technique, his future Combat Ability would be greatly enhanced.

Having done these things, Ye Jingcheng retrieved some spirit medicines from the Spirit Medicine Garden.

Next, he planned to refine the Three-Colored Pill.

Ye Jingcheng left the Secret Realm but did not immediately start refining the Three-Colored Pill; instead, he began with refining other wood attribute spirit pills.

Having just refined the earth attribute Golden Scale Pill, it was easy to be misled by the properties of earth attribute spirit medicines.

Therefore, it wasn’t better to strike while the iron is hot.

In Ye Jingcheng’s view, rather than seeking a refining state, it’s better to seek stability.

Two days quickly passed, and Ye Jingcheng finally began refining the Three-Colored Pill.

This time, Ye Jingcheng’s refining process was even smoother and much easier than the Golden Scale Pill.

However, when the pill was completed, Ye Jingcheng looked at the Pill Furnace and couldn’t help but sigh deeply.

This time, he deliberately aimed to refine spirit pills with Pill Patterns.

Not only did the Three-Colored Pill with Pill Patterns fail to appear, but there was only one pill in total.

Ye Jingcheng took out the spirit pill and entered the Grotto Heaven, giving it to the Three-Colored Cloud Deer.

Allowing the Three-Colored Cloud Deer to also fall into the advancement of its bloodline.

Once again, Ye Jingcheng saw the Golden Falcon moved.

It seemed that the Golden Falcon was not interested in the slow enhancement and increased absorption ability of Treasure Light.

However, it was extremely interested in the advancement of bloodline.

It flew towards Ye Jingcheng, flying very slowly, but even when it deliberately slowed down, the Golden Falcon’s speed in the air was exceptionally fast.

Otherwise, in the Secret Realm, the Corpse Daoist would not have been overturned.

But when the Golden Falcon flew over, Ye Jingcheng just walked away.

In the past, he had shown goodwill, but the Golden Falcon had not appreciated it. Now that it was actively approaching, Ye Jingcheng could not pay it any mind.

When he exited the Grotto Heaven, he intentionally threw out a Tier Two Lower Grade gold attribute spirit pill.

The Golden Falcon watched Ye Jingcheng disappear, leaving only the spirit pill.

It then swallowed the spirit pill.

It quickly let out an excited cry.

It didn’t care whether Ye Jingcheng stayed or left; it only cared about that transformative state.

However, as it felt the surging spiritual energy inside, it indeed made significant progress.

But the state of advancement truly did not occur, leaving its eyes slightly perplexed and somewhat disappointed. It flapped its wings and returned to the pavilion’s top.

Thereafter, its eyes never left the golden light of the Golden Scale Beast and the azure light of the Three-Colored Cloud Deer.

At this moment, Ye Jingcheng could naturally perceive the thoughts of the Golden Falcon through the Soul Contract, so he wasn’t in a hurry.

Currently, the situation was akin to when the Thunder Rhinoceros Insect first sensed the Treasure Light, he estimated that in half a year’s time, the Golden Falcon could be truly tamed.

At that time, it would also be when he would begin enhancing the Golden Falcon.

Before that, he prepared to split his soul again with the Celestial Soul Technique.

Then thoroughly practice the God-Breaking Needle Secret Technique, as the growth of Divine Sense was particularly important for alchemy, while the God-Breaking Needle was especially vital for his survival techniques.

As for Chu Yanqing’s spirit pills, Ye Jingcheng naturally would not start refining them so soon.

Such an important Profound Water Pill, if he refined it so quickly, and it even had Pill Patterns, it would be too ostentatious.
