Beast Taming Clan: I Have a Jade Book

Chapter 221: Chapter 220: New Rules for the Purple Mansion

In front of the Ancestral Hall, the warm spring light gently shone, mingling with the rising green smoke, layer by layer drifting towards the distant sky.

Ye Xingliu stood with his back to the Ancestral Hall, facing the crowd, summarizing the current situation of the Ye Family.

He went through almost everything, from the clan members to the Clan Mountain.

Although this was just part of Lingyun Peak, whether they were new clan members or those who had come into contact with some secrets of the Ye Family, at this moment all were beaming with joy and excitement.

Compared to the previous decade, the changes in the family were indeed too great.

The territory was expanding, the clan members’ cultivation was improving.

Even the spiritual energy of the Spirit Mountain had become denser.

For cultivators, the most important things are wealth, companions, skills, and land, and now that everything is getting better, it is naturally worth celebrating.

Even Ye Jingcheng felt that this was indeed good.

“Although the family has made good progress in the recent decade, for a family with a legacy spanning hundreds of years, our goal has always been to become a Golden Core Clan!” After Ye Xingliu finished speaking, Ye Haicheng spoke, his voice extremely authoritative.

As soon as he spoke, everyone couldn’t help but listen.

However, the rest of the Ye Family members all had smiles on their faces.

Ye Haicheng did not; he frowned even more, his expression more serious, seemingly dissatisfied with everyone.

And it was important to know that in a few days, it was Ye Haicheng’s ceremony.

“And this requires everyone’s effort and constant vigilance!”

He swept his stern gaze over everyone, emphasizing the word “vigilance” heavily.

The intensity of his eyes seemed like a magical artifact shining down, making people uneasy.

Then he took out a jade talisman, which began to emit spiritual light as he waved it out.

On the spiritual light, images started to appear.

It was a huge three-deck Spiritual Ship, filled with cultivators. They grinned like bandits, heading towards Lingyun Peak.

The leader was Xu Wenchang.

“This is the Xu Family forcing our Ye Family, I hope everyone remembers!” Ye Haicheng continued to speak.

When he said this, many cultivators fell silent.

Ye Haicheng’s words were like a stone, awakening everyone’s memories.

Years ago, Xu Wenchang of the Xu Family brought the Li Family and Chen Family, forcing the Turtle Ancestor of the Ye Family to death.

Although Ye Jingcheng knew that the Turtle Ancestor was not dead, the scene back then was indeed a colossal humiliation.

Everyone’s expressions began to change slightly.

Even the young clan members.

Those Qi cultivation cultivators, some experienced that scene, some did not, but these things were explained in the Dao Transmission Hall, this was the heritage of the Ye Family.

Not just Daoist skills, but also history!

This has always been the way of the Ye Family.

“I hope everyone remembers, as clan cultivators, never forget the family’s humiliation!” After Ye Haicheng finished speaking, he stepped back, making way, looking at Ye Xingliu.

“Xingliu, continue to announce the new family regulations!” Ye Xingliu nodded.

“After careful consideration by the elders of the Ye Family, the family has been promoted to the Purple Mansion Clan, and the remuneration for all family cultivators has been increased by thirty percent. Meanwhile, the family has enough territory and Spirit Mountains, but the number of clan members is still sparse. From today, cultivators who give birth to offspring with a Spirit Root will be rewarded with an additional 300 contribution points, and those with Dual Spirit Roots or more will receive an additional 500 contribution points!”

“In addition, for new clan members, the family will provide at least one Spirit Beast as a reward for the clan member!”

This news spread, the clan members of the Ye Family were immediately thrilled and ecstatic.

Although as cultivators, they are seen as unattainable in the eyes of mortals.

But most cultivators are well aware.

It is only one in a thousand who possesses a Spirit Root.

And among those with a Spirit Root, only one in a hundred reaches Foundation Establishment.

For most people, the immortal path still seems distant.

Even more so for those without the family background, even less than one in a thousand.

So in the eyes of many clan members, their descendants are the continuation of the immortal path.

Now that the family not only enhances everyone’s benefits but also increases the rewards for descendants, it is undoubtedly a great fortune from the heavens.

Even Ye Jingcheng was very pleased, his salary once again increased, although by now, he did not primarily rely on salary, it would indeed make things easier.

“Additionally, family Spirit Beasts above Tier One Peak reported and recorded by the family can also receive half the salary of peers!” Ye Xingliu continued.

At these words, all the high-tier cultivators instantly showed joy, as they more or less had high-tier Spirit Beasts.

Especially for those with many, feeding Spirit Beasts was a considerable expense in Spirit Stones.

On regular days, they would purchase some low-tier beast meat, or buy some low-tier Spirit Rice.

But for some Spirit Beasts, maintaining an excellent condition is difficult in this way.

Now the family also counts them in salary, although it’s still not much, it would be better than before.

At this moment, Ye Jingcheng was the most delighted. He currently had three Tier Two Demon Beasts, one late-stage Tier One Three-Colored Cloud Deer, and one late-stage Tier One Jade Ring Rat.

The pressure was considerable, but fortunately, he had some gift in alchemy, otherwise, even with a Treasure Book and Spiritual Light, maintaining his current cultivation speed would still be challenging.

Now that the family’s high-tier Spirit Beasts can count for half a salary, it was indeed a timely assistance for him.

“Everyone, please take out your high-tier Spirit Beasts today and submit them with your Spirit Beast Bags!” Ye Xingliu continued.

Upon hearing this, Ye Jingcheng was clear in his heart.

He knew that the family’s plan had started.

Among them, those Spirit Beasts with Beast Communication Patterns would participate in the Ye Family’s plan, while those without would be raised in the Spirit Beast Valley.

Ye Jingcheng also took out all his Spirit Beasts, at the same time, he placed the Five Poison Bee, containing his Soul Split, into the Spirit Beast Bag containing the Red Flame Fox.

For him, although he could not go, at critical moments he could make judgments to avoid his few Spirit Beasts from dying too easily.

After all, these few Spirit Beasts were crucial to his cultivation, and to find them all again would be extremely difficult.

But for Ye Jingcheng, what reassured him the most was the family’s control over everything in advance.

And the family’s Seven Great Hidden Peaks, at least three Purple Mansion Ancestors, and the pre-refined Snake Scent Pill and Demon Luring Pill were his confidence.

Others did not think as much as Ye Jingcheng did, in a Spirit Beast Clan, a unified inspection of Spirit Beasts was also normal, especially since such an important benefit had been implemented today.

Diligent family inspections were quite normal.

Once everyone submitted their Spirit Beast Bags, the clan meeting came to an end.

Ye Xingliu announced the end of the clan meeting and instructed each elder to prepare for the Purple Mansion ceremony.

At that time, many pavilions needed to be built at the mountain’s base for loose cultivators to stay, and numerous residences needed to be prepared for the Purple Mansion Ascendants to rest.

And if Golden Core True Masters came to the Purple Mansion ceremony, halls would need to be constructed.

Other than accommodations, the Purple Mansion ceremony requires preparations for spiritual cuisine, spirit wine, spirit tea, and spirit beast performances.

For the outsiders, the Purple Mansion ceremony is just a ceremony, but for the Ye Family.

It is both the start of the redistribution of Taihang Commandery’s interests and a great opportunity for the Ye Family to show their true value and expand their prestige!
