Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

”Since you don’t like the diamond ring I gave you, let’s pick another one, and after that we’ll go try on wedding dresses.” As he spoke, he started the engine, completely disregarding her words and intending to drive away.

”What did you say?!” Hearing his words, she was even more shocked! He mentioned choosing a diamond ring and trying on wedding dresses? ”Why should I go choose a diamond ring and try on wedding dresses with you?”

”I’m planning to propose to you. Whatever you want, I can give it to you.” His tone left no room for doubt, speaking with certainty.

”Propose? Mr. Ye, has a donkey kicked your head? We’ve only met twice, and you want to propose? Aren’t you being a bit too hasty?” What on earth is in this man’s mind to even bring up marriage? He’s truly an incomprehensible and unpredictable person.

Ye Chenfeng paused, thought for a moment, and then said, ”Do you mean we’re moving too fast?” If that’s the case, he could give her time to consider and gradually accept him, but with another powerful man by her side, he knew if he didn’t make the first move, he would lose even more!

She quickly shook her head and explained, ”Mr. Ye, that’s not what I mean. I already have someone I like! We’re not suitable!”

Proposing! How could she not be excited? In her entire life, apart from Qiao Zhenyu promising her a future, she had never heard such similar words. Moreover, she was now Beitang Yao’s person; how could she get involved with another man? If Beitang Yao found out, who knows what kind of punishment she would face.

”You already have someone you like? Is it him? Beitang Yao?” His voice faded slightly, tinged with a hint of sadness.

Without thinking, Xia Qingqian nodded heavily, ”Yes, I have fallen for Beitang Yao.” She boldly admitted, not caring about much else at this point.

”What do you like about him?” He asked again, this time staring intently into her eyes, not giving her a chance to lie.

Xia Qingqian hadn’t expected him to ask such a question, and even she couldn’t answer it. What did she like about Beitang Yao?

”Heh, if you truly like him, does it require consideration? Or are you lying? Is there actually no real affection between you and him?” Ye Chenfeng placed one hand on the steering wheel while the other reached over to wrap around Xia Qingqian’s waist, planting a few kisses on her soft lips.

Caught off guard, she widened her eyes at his audacious actions, a flame igniting in her heart. She furrowed her brows tightly, raised her hand, and slapped him across the face.

”Mr. Ye! Please show some respect! I’m not some nightclub woman! I want to get out!” Xia Qingqian felt a burning sensation in her palm, not regretting slapping him, nor finding it frightening. She believed that if someone stuck to her like an annoying band-aid that couldn’t be shaken off, there was no need to be polite; it was more direct to swiftly teach him a lesson!

Ye Chenfeng’s eyes darkened, a quick flash of light passing through them with a sharp fierceness. He touched his cheek, his smile growing instead of fading, ”Do you like hitting me? Go ahead, I enjoy being hit by someone I like.”

Xia Qingqian shivered as she hugged herself, wondering if he was stupid from the slap or simply a masochist?

”Mr. Ye, please let me out.” She didn’t want to stay here even a moment longer, especially with him, which made her feel even more uncomfortable!
