Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Chapter 851: Chapter 853: Giving You Another Choice

When she stopped and asked him for instructions, his slightly cold and gloomy voice sounded, ”Go translate all this Russian material, then print each one.”

Xia Qingqian was stunned, looking at the pile of documents that had appeared on the desk without her knowing when, she was dumbfounded.

”Young Master, when should these be translated?” She had a hint of worry, with a faint unease spreading in her heart.

”Before you’ve completed the translation work, tomorrow’s reception duties will be arranged by someone else.” He made an excuse to renege.

Just now, for some reason, he felt as though a sharp needle was pricking his heart at the thought of having her arrange the reception duties.

”Young Master!” She took a step forward, the brightness in her eyes suddenly dimmed, ”I will translate the documents as quickly as possible, but the reception duties should also be arranged by me, alright?”

Upon closer look, one could see the nervous expression on her cheeks, it seemed this reception was very important to her.

”Follow orders, do your translation.” Beitang Yao gestured with a wave, indicating she should take away the documents that needed translating.

Xia Qingqian said defiantly, ”Young Master, I’ve always obeyed orders, but the reception duties are also a task you’ve assigned.”

”I’ll give you another choice, if you can’t even do the translation work well, you’ll have to leave the company.” Beitang Yao said sullenly.

This damned woman, why was she so anxious about this reception work, insisting on opposing him?

He regretted it, didn’t want her to handle it, yet he couldn’t say it aloud.

Xia Qingqian’s eyes flashed with a bit of disappointment, ”You are the president, I’m just a mere secretary, can I not obey superior orders? Translating a few boxes of documents in a day, what’s that even?”

Beitang Yao underestimated Xia Qingqian’s endurance, he originally thought that after being hurt by work once, she wouldn’t gamble her life again.

However, Xia Qingqian would do so to verify some facts. She could work tirelessly.

This time, Beitang Yao didn’t make Xia Qingqian leave quickly but instead made her wait respectfully by his side for his next assignment. He was still engrossed in work, and Xia Qingqian stood for a long time without seeing the slightest intention of him speaking.

She suddenly felt a bit of panic, if he didn’t let her leave, how could she complete her work?

Or was he doing it on purpose?

She gritted her teeth tightly and said softly, ”Young Master, if there’s nothing else, then I will go get back to work.” She wished she could go over and twist his neck.

His cold and icy gaze abruptly pushed back her rising expectations.

”Translation is not urgent, there are other things for you to do,” he lifted his gaze, handing her a printed document, ”Have these typed up and then sent to each department manager’s email.”

Xia Qingqian had a speechless expression, ”Young Master, you could email it to my computer, I’ll do it immediately.” Why go through such trouble? These papers were still warm, why didn’t he just send her an email directly?

”If I simply sent an email, why am I asking you to come back?” Beitang Yao said coldly.

If you endure, you gain.

Xia Qingqian glanced at the aloof and arrogant Beitang Yao as if looking at an enemy, swallowing down full bitterness.
