Cultivation: Starting from a Mortal Bone

The cave mansion where Qin Yu resided was located halfway up the main peak, surrounded by cliffs on four sides, each with a cave mansion. However, it seemed that the other three sides were uninhabited.

He was still unaware of the significance of living on the main peak.

Every Great Elder had their own mountain peak. The main peak was typically reserved only for the Sect Leader and the Saintess.

Unless granted a special permission by the Sect Leader, typically, even Core Disciples would live on the corresponding mountain with their mentors.

Therefore, when Liu Zixiao led Qin Yu away, the elders understood Su Xihe’s intentions.

After Qin Yu left, there were elders who argued based on reason, some believing they had made achievements in the Alchemy Dao, some thinking it was in talismans, arrays... and so on.

Who wouldn’t want such a promising youth?!

In the future, when Qin Yu achieves success and fame, they too could bask in the glory.

At their level, they were well aware that further progress was unlikely, so they started caring about external reputation.

This time, Su Xihe did not indulge them.

The current Sect Leader held strong confidence, not needing to cater to these old fellows’ faces, and simply left with a flick of her sleeve.

After Yun Danzi left, in terms of alchemy prowess, they probably weren’t even as good as herself, yet they still had the face to talk about achievements.

Humph!

...

Qin Yu was unaware of what happened behind the scenes in the grand hall. He began to acquaint himself with the courtyard and its surroundings.

Compared to Lin Xian City, this place could only be described as a celestial realm.

No wonder loose cultivators called it the Immortal Sect!

In the courtyard, there was Lin Shuishui and Zhao Mengli’s laughter. Watching their lively figures running around, Qin Yu felt an indescribable sense of contentment.

The environment in Lin Xian City was truly oppressive.

Even something as simple as going out was a luxury for them.

Every time, just strolling in the market would make Lin Shuishui immensely happy. Now, her joy seemed purer and more unconstrained.

Moreover, inside the cave mansion, there were no outsiders, so they didn’t need to be restrained. They could play freely and even jump into the water to catch spirit fish.

Qin Yu inspected each room, finally encountering the beautiful master in the alchemy room, faintly scented with medicinal aromas.

”Master, it seems we have a tacit understanding.”

Qin Yu curved his lips into a smile, naturally approaching and gently encircling the master’s slender waist.

”As an alchemist, I naturally care about the alchemy room.”

Yin Qinghe instinctively struggled a bit, but the more she did, she found Qin Yu’s arm as solid as iron, tightening with her every effort, ultimately forcing her to reluctantly give up resisting.

Qin Yu showed a triumphant smile.

His gaze wandered, carefully observing the alchemy room.

The interior was arranged very simply, with only an alchemy furnace in the center. However, it was thoughtfully designed with a small bed for resting placed beside it.

He leaned down, whispering something softly in the beautiful master’s ear.

Immediately, Yin Qinghe’s eyes widened, and a visible blush rose on her exquisite face.

”You mustn’t, this place is for alchemy.”

This rebellious pupil, was he so eager?!

Having just moved in, he couldn’t wait to... acquire new knowledge.

”Previously, it wasn’t also in the alchemy room...”

”No more talking.”

Yin Qinghe, both embarrassed and angry, interrupted Qin Yu’s words.

The main reason was that this rebellious pupil was becoming more excessive, actually making such outrageous requests, and wanting her, his master...

Yet she couldn’t refuse him, and although her mouth said no, she couldn’t help but feel a slight... thrill.

How infuriating!

Well, let’s consider it as a small reward for this rebellious pupil.

Yes.

Just this once.

Soon, sounds of tapping the alchemy furnace could be heard from the alchemy room, with the aroma of medicine wafting far and wide.

Clearly.

The beautiful master was once again imparting teachings and guidance to her disciple.

”Ah, Master, what are you doing...”

Seeing the master hand in hand teaching Qin Yu some alchemy techniques, a head popped in, witnessing this scene and gasped, covering her little mouth.

”Oh my, secretly teaching new knowledge while I was away. No way, I want to learn too!”

Very quickly, Zhao Mengli also joined the learning team.

Hmm!

Just pure learning of alchemy techniques.

...

At the summit of the main peak.

In the Sect Leader’s cave mansion.

Sect Leader Su Xihe leisurely reclined on a soft brocade bed, her jade hand lightly supporting her finely chiseled chin, eyelids gently closed, exuding an indescribable sense of leisure and contentment.

She wore only a layer of light, loose gauze that seemed ready to slip off at any moment, revealing enticing scenery and the faintly visible elegant curves, like the most delicate strokes crafting an exquisite painting that captivated the heart.

Now that Su Xiyue had safely returned and those elders had settled, she could also relax a bit.

Liu Zixiao sat beside her, fingers lightly moving, constantly pressing on the body that countless men covet.

”Zixiao, it’s only been a few days, and your technique has already become rusty.”

Though Su Xihe was immersed in the sense of physical and mental relaxation, she still expressed dissatisfaction with her words, prompting Liu Zixiao to roll her eyes but not rebut, instead asking, ”Sect Leader, about my previous proposal, what have you decided?”

”What are you referring to?” Su Xihe’s voice held a lazy sleepiness.

”Regarding the guidance of Qin Yu.”

Indeed, Qin Yu was brought back, but he couldn’t be left to self-study and succeed on his own, right?

Without guidance, no matter how talented, the path of growth would be long and arduous.

Of course, given Su Xihe’s position as Sect Leader, personally tutoring a newly admitted disciple might seem beneath her station.

However, under the present circumstances, Cyan Mountain Sect could find no other suitable candidate to fulfill the role and guide Qin Yu onto the right path...

Especially concerning the Alchemy Dao, currently, it seemed only Su Xihe had the highest level of proficiency.

At present, due to various conflicts among Immortal Sects, the demand for high-level elixirs in Cyan Mountain Sect was particularly pressing. Even Su Xihe, occupying the position of Sect Leader, needed to personally handle the urgent matter of alchemy to alleviate an urgent need.

The urgent task was still to quickly cultivate Qin Yu, establish a banner, and attract more people to join.

If his talent remained hidden for too long with no achievements, it could invite criticism and dissatisfaction from the sect’s disciples and elders.

Su Xihe did not respond, though internally she felt some resistance.

Perhaps it was the natural sense of distance towards the opposite gender in the depth of her heart that hindered her from easily taking that step.

Moreover, as a sect leader, her status was extraordinarily noble, so accepting Qin Yu as a disciple might not conform to protocol and could contradict her esteemed status.

In the past, the disciples of the Sect Leader were often considered likely successors.

Furthermore, while she had respectable accomplishments in the Alchemy Dao, she had never engaged in teaching it. If the instruction was inappropriate and led to a deviation, it might not only be unhelpful but counterproductive.

Simply put, she feared leading a disciple astray.

Such considerations were the unspeakable concerns in Su Xihe’s heart.
