Reincarnated As a Fox With System

Chapter 984 Pitted Against Each Other!

Yaya controlled her hundreds of wind blades to chase after the fake Xiʼer, but unfortunately, the fake Xiʼer had already disappeared like thin air.

Yaya was extremely angry that she immediately decided to look for the fake Xiʼer, no matter what it took.

After Yaya wandered around swiftly in the middle of a snowstorm for a few minutes, she finally saw Xiʼer from afar.

But Yaya, who was blinded by anger, failed to notice that the current Xiʼer was actually the real one!

The angry Yaya quickly unleashed her strongest attack toward the real Xiʼer!

[Cyclone Storm]~!

A huge hurricane pillar instantly appeared and swallowed the real Xiʼer in that instant!

Fortunately, Xiʼer reacted fast enough and wrapped her entire body with her black fog-like Death Energy in order to protect herself!

Countless dancing sharp wind blades and violent lightning were attacking Xiʼer at once from all sides!

BANG~! BANG~! BANG~! BANG~!

Xiʼerʼs slender body was tossed around inside the [Cyclone Storm], but her black barrier, which was created from dense Death Energy, still remained firm like an unbreakable wall.

Then Xiʼer infused her black fog-like Death Energy into [Sword of Disaster] in her grasp and slashed it vertically!

BOOOOOOOOM~!

Yayaʼs [Cyclone Storm] was actually broken apart by Xiʼerʼs sword slash with force!

Xiʼer wanted to swing her [Sword of Disaster] toward the one who attacked her, but she immediately halted her movement when she realized that it was actually Yaya who attacked her just now.

”Yaya? Why are you...” Xiʼer frowned deeply, but before she could ask Yaya about it, Yaya had already launched another attack at Xiʼer again!

[Vacuum Slash]~!

BAAAANG~!

Xiʼer was thrown back more than fifty meters by Yayaʼs [Vacuum Slash], but she somersaulted a few times in mid-air and landed gracefully while holding a pitch-black shield in her grasp.

Right before Yayaʼs [Vacuum Slash] could hit Xiʼer, she transformed the [Sword of Disaster] into shield form.

[Vacuum Slash] might be Yayaʼs strongest single-target attack skill, but it still could not break through the shield formʼs defense of the [Sword of Disaster].

Xiʼer did not want to fight back against Yaya, but she felt really annoyed as Yaya kept attacking her again and again.

In the end, Xiʼer decided to just knock Yaya out instead.

The [Sword of Disaster] in Xiʼerʼs grasp transformed again into a wand form under Xiʼerʼs control, then she began to strike Yaya back!

When Xiʼer and Yaya were fighting fiercely against each other, they did not notice that there was actually someone secretly watching them from afar.

Yes, the person who watched them was the previous fake Xiʼer!

The fake Xiʼer giggled mischievously while watching Xiʼer and Yaya fighting, then she pondered for a few moments before she narrowed her eyes and sneered cunningly.

Xiʼer might have a mid-rank Nascent Soul Stage cultivation level, but her combat power was actually far above her cultivation level.

Not to mention the first effect of her [Sword of Disaster] increased the power of her Death Energy techniques by 300%, and she also had an unkillable undead body.

Thus, it did not take long for her to subdue Yaya and imprison Yaya inside a cage condensed from her Death Energy.

Xiʼer shook her head helplessly and tried to explain to Yaya: ”Yaya, I am the real Xiʼer, not the disguised Wind Guardian.”

From Yayaʼs current blackened appearance, Xiʼer could already guess that Yaya had been fooled by Wind Guardian, who pretended to be her.

But Yaya still remained unconvinced and glared suspiciously at Xiʼer.

Then Xiʼer said again: ”Wind Guardian might be able to disguise itself perfectly as one of us, but it should be impossible for it to imitate our skills or abilities.”

Yaya widened her eyes in surprise and realized that what Xiʼer said should be right.

Yaya blushed in embarrassment while nodding her head to apologize to Xiʼer.

Xiʼer sighed in relief after she sensed that Yayaʼs hostility had gone, but when she wanted to release Yaya from the cage she made from her Death Energy...

”Kweek~!” Lucia suddenly rushed swiftly at them and attacked Xiʼer!

.....

A few moments ago, the fake Xiʼer turned around to look for another target to fool, and it transformed itself into Little Loki.

This time, its target would be Lucia.

Wind Guardian could monitor the entire Wind Floor, so it could easily find Lucia.

”Nyaaw~!” When Wind Guardian tried to approach Lucia as the fake Little Loki, Lucia was surprisingly very wary of it, as she did not let it get close to her at all.

After racking its brain for a while, the fake Little Loki decided to tell Lucia that Yaya was currently fighting against the fake Xiʼer with her body gestures.

Lucia did not immediately trust the fake Little Lokiʼs words, but she still decided to follow it and headed toward the location where Yaya and Xiʼer fought against each other.

When Lucia saw Yaya imprisoned by Xiʼer, she quickly rushed forward to save Yaya without thinking too much about it, which led to the current situation!

Luciaʼs speed might be fast, but Xiʼerʼs reaction speed was not slow either.

CLAAANG~!

Xiʼer managed to raise her [Sword of Disaster] on time to block Luciaʼs sudden attack, but she was still forced to retreat dozens of steps.

Xiʼerʼs strength should be much superior to Luciaʼs, but the third effect of Luciaʼs [Silver Dragon Skin Pearl] actually boosted her power so much and added Luciaʼs [Gigantification] on top of it, even Xiʼer could not easily block Luciaʼs full-powered attack.

[Silver Dragon Skin Pearlʼs 3rd effect: Greatly increase Strength Stat by 8,000 points + 50% of total strength.]

([Gigantification]: The user can freely adjust his/her body size (currently tenfold of the scale). Shrinking the body size can increase the overall speed but decrease the toughness and power, while enlarging the body size can increase the toughness and strength but decrease the overall speed.)

”Wait a second, Lucia...” Xiʼer tried to explain herself, but Lucia had already launched another attack at her!

[Blade Feather Projectiles] plus [Golden Light Spell]~!

Lucia flapped her wings rapidly and shot more than a hundred sharp feathers wrapped in golden light toward Xiʼer!

”Sigh, this is really too troublesome.” Xiʼer shook her head in frustration as she transformed the [Sword of Disaster] in her grasp into a thick black shield.

CLANG~! CLANG~! CLANG~! CLANG~!

When Xiʼer raised her thick black shield to block Luciaʼs sharp feathers, Lucia took this chance to use her [Blade Feather Slashes] at the black cage that imprisoned Yaya.

BAAAANG~!

The black cage that imprisoned Yaya was cut into pieces after Xiʼer swung her sharp wings at it!

”Ya yayaya~!” Yaya, who had already been released from the black cage, quickly stopped Lucia from attacking Xiʼer again.

But when Lucia was still feeling confused by Yayaʼs babbles, the fake Little Loki suddenly appeared between them and spat the stinky black gas at Lucia and Xiʼer!

It was already one step too late for Lucia and Xiʼer to avoid the stinky black gas because they were too focused on fighting each other, and Yaya also made them even more distracted by jumping between them, then tried to explain something to Lucia.

In the end, both Lucia and Xiʼer were also dyed completely black by the fake Little Loki.

The fake Little Loki laughed out loud while rolling happily on the ground when it saw Yaya, Lucia, and Xiʼer, who had already dyed completely black from head to toe.

”You damn naughty brat~!” Xiʼer was extremely pissed off by the fake Little Lokiʼs behaviour.

Yaya, Lucia, and Xiʼer quickly moved to catch the fake Little Loki, but the fake Little Loki agilely ran between Luciaʼs feet, then suddenly disappeared like thin air.

When Yaya, Lucia, and Xiʼer looked around in anger, they finally saw Little Loki again walking more than fifty meters away from them.

”Quickly catch it before it disappears again!” Xiʼer shouted in rage as she, Yaya, and Lucia rushed toward Little Loki at full speed.

Little Loki: ”?!”

Yes, this Little Loki was actually the real Little Loki, and it was really confused when it watched Yaya, Lucia, and Xiʼer rush toward it so quickly as if they were finding delicious food.

Little Loki looked right and left in confusion, but it still failed to find any delicious food around it.

Just as Yaya, Lucia, and Xiʼer jumped at Little Loki to catch it, Little Loki used its [Instant Teleportation] to get away from them.

”Damn, it got away again!” Xiʼer whined in frustration.

”Yaaaa~!” Yaya shouted while pointing at Little Loki, who had teleported more than twenty meters away from them.

Then Yaya, Lucia, and Xiʼer chased after Little Loki again to catch it.

Little Loki tilted its tiny furry head cutely in puzzlement, but when Yaya, Lucia, and Xiʼer surrounded it from three different directions and jumped to catch it, Little Loki escaped with its [Instant Teleportation] again.

This scene repeated several more times, but they still failed to even touch Little Loki.

But Yaya, Lucia, and Xiʼer could not really be blamed for not realizing that Little Loki, whom they kept chasing, was the real one because Little Lokiʼs [Instant Teleportation] was quite similar to Wind Guardianʼs ability.

After repeating it again and again, Little Loki finally ran out of its patience and decided to teach Yaya, Lucia, and Xiʼer a lesson.

Little Loki unleashed its [Phantom Splitters] and split itself into four identical figures, then it used its [Earth Locking Heaven Slaying Formation] to temporarily immobilize Yaya, Lucia, and Xiʼer.

Little Lokiʼs three [Phantom Splitters] clones slapped the immobilized Yaya, Lucia, and Xiʼerʼs faces with their tiny paws.

PENG~! PENG~! PENG~!

The slaps of Little Lokiʼs three [Phantom Splitters] clones were not strong, but they left tiny paw prints on Yaya, Lucia, and Xiʼerʼs cheeks.

Little Loki used [Phantom Splitters] clones to do it because it really did not want to touch or even get close to Yaya, Lucia, and Xiʼer, who were already covered with stinky black liquid.
