Reincarnated As a Fox With System

Chapter 598: It’s Time for Plan B!

Even though her vision was covered by the defensive stone wall, Tang Li Xue could still vaguely sense the movement above the Human Palaceʼs wall through her [Extrasensory Perception].

She sensed a tall and burly man wearing a set of golden armor and was holding a bow in one hand and an arrow in the other hand.

Tang Li Xue was quite sure that a man clad in golden armor should be one of the human generals.

At first, that human general aimed his arrow at their defensive stone wall, and then he slowly aimed it downward.

Tang Li Xue frowned deeply and started to look around to find what that human general was aiming his arrow at.

Then Tang Li Xue quickly found out that the human general was actually aiming at one of their Fox Generals!

”Damn, that sneaky bast*rd~! Watch out~!” Tang Li Xue hastily shouted out loud to warn them, but unfortunately, it was already too late!

The human general injected his fierce Qi into his bow and arrow until they released a faint white light, then the human general finally unleashed his arrow!

SWOOOSSH~!

Tang Li Xue gnashed her fangs in agitation as she swiftly created another layer of sturdy protective stone wall using her [Mother Earthʼs Gift]!

BOOOOOOOOOMM~! BOOOOOOOOOMM~!

However, the human generalʼs arrow easily blasted apart the two layers of sturdy protective stone walls in just a blink of an eye!

PUUUUFFF~!

The powerful arrow still did not stop and continued to pierce through the head of one of the fox generals, then exploded leaving a huge crater on the ground!

When the fox troops and the other fox generals were completely dumbfounded, the human general who stood on the top of Human Palaceʼs wall shouted his order again: ”SHOOT THEM ALL TO DEATH~!”

BOOOM~! BOOOM~! BOOOM~! BOOOM~!

Tens of thousands of Spirit Cannons on the top of Human Palaceʼs wall were shooting destructive blue light in unison!

Tang Li Xue tried to urge her [Mother Earthʼs Gift] to erect another defensive stone wall as quickly as she could, but no matter how fast she was, she would never be able to match the speed of blue light shooting out by those Spirit Cannons!

Tens of thousands of destructive blue energy rays bombarded the battlefield, turning the entire place into a huge meat grinder to crush all of the incoming fox troops mercilessly.

More than a hundred thousand lives of human soldiers and fox troops were instantly lost in less than one breath!

Of course, the deaths of fox troops were several times more numerous than the human soldiers, so the human generals in the Human Palace certainly thought that the sacrifice of his soldiers was completely worth it.

Tang Li Xueʼs expression turned pale as she felt extremely uncomfortable.

Thankfully, all of their dead bodies instantly turned into white lights and disappeared without leaving any broken limbs, innards, or internal organs scattered around the battlefield, if not, Tang Li Xue might really not be able to hold on anymore.

Tang Li Xue shook her head as she tried to clear her mind and think of her next moves carefully.

The Human Palace was only around forty to fifty miles away from them right now.

They were no longer far from the Human Palace, and normally, Tang Li Xue could easily reach it in a few minutes.

If she activated the [Wings of Freedom] buff plus entered [Divine Possession] mode with Yaya plus [Wind Guardian Blessing], she could even reach it in less than one minute.

But those human generalʼs deadly arrows and tens of thousands of Spirit Cannons made this distance of forty to fifty miles seem unattainable to them.

”Sigh... Unfortunately, Yaya and Phoenix of Pride are currently still resting after being hit by the backlash from [War Goddess Mode].” Tang Li Xue muttered in a concerned tone.

ʼNo other choice... It looks like it is time to implement Plan B!ʼ Tang Li Xue thought in her heart.

Tang Li Xue used her [Mother Earthʼs Gift] once again and created another protective stone wall, but this time, she only planned to use this as a diversion!

[Water Mirage] activated~!

Tang Li Xueʼs silver furry figure split into many identical clones in that instant!

So many Tang Li Xueʼs clones swiftly ran in different directions and spread out all over the battlefield, making the fierce battlefield even more chaotic than before!

Even the other fox generals were confused by what Tang Li Xue had done since Tang Li Xue never told them anything about her Plan B!

Just like what Tang Li Xue had expected, the Human General repeated his previous action and took down another fox general with its deadly arrow!

Meanwhile, the third salvo of the Spirit Cannons managed to wipe out another tens of thousands of fox troops in an instant!

Many of Tang Li Xueʼs [Water Mirage] clones got destroyed into a puddle of water because of it, leaving only a few of them scattered around the battlefield.

Their 700,000 fox troops had been reduced to less than 500,000 fox troops right now.

At this rate, their entire fox army would probably be completely wiped out before they could reach the Human Palace!

The mint-colored fox was already very anxious and scolded Tang Li Xue: ”What is that stupid fox doing?! Why didnʼt she create another stone protection wall?!”

Without Tang Li Xue making another stone wall from her [Mother Earthʼs Gift], the human soldiers on the top of the Human Palaceʼs wall could shoot their Spirit Cannons freely without any obstruction!

BOOOM~! BOOOM~! BOOOM~! BOOOM~!

The fox troops got slaughtered even more rapidly than before under the barrage attacks of the Spirit Cannons!

SWOOOSSHHH~! PUUUUFFF~!

Another fox general got killed by the human generalʼs deadly arrow!

So far, there were already three fox generals who died under the human generalʼs deadly arrows, leaving only four fox generals on the battlefield including the mint-colored fox and Tang Li Xue!

The situation had become completely hopeless for the fox armyʼs side, and even the rest of fox generals already considered whether they should grit their fangs and continue to charge forward fearlessly or tuck their tails between their legs and retreat hastily from here.

”Bast*rd~! We, Fox Race, are not a bunch of cowards~! I choose to charge forward and die bravely rather than run away in shame and die while getting shot from behind~!” One of the fox generals shouted out loud valiantly.

The fox generalʼs courageous words awaken the fighting spirit of the other fox generals and all of the fox troops, then they howled out loud in anger and charged forward to the Human Palace in high spirits.

Unfortunately, their brave spirits and courageous words were not enough to change the outcome on the battlefield.

The human generalʼs arrow easily took the life of another fox general, while the tens of thousands of Spirit Cannons mercilessly reaped the lives of fox troops.

Just when the total number of the fox troops fell to less than 300,000, something completely unexpected suddenly happened!

RUMBLE~! RUMBLE~! RUMBLE~! RUMBLE~!

A violent earthquake shook the Human Palaceʼs wall all of a sudden!

Countless thin cracks slowly spread on the entire Human Palaceʼs wall!

Under the huge Human Palaceʼs wall, a small silver furry figure suddenly appeared out of nowhere!

”Break it down for me~!” Tang Li Xue shouted as she urged [Mother Earthʼs Gift] to increase the power of the violent earthquake!

Those human soldiers and human generals on top of Human Palaceʼs wall quickly realized that Tang Li Xue was the one who did it, so Tang Li Xue immediately decided to get more serious!

She must break down this Human Palaceʼs wall before those fierce human generals come down from the wall and deal with her!

[Earth Breaking Hammer]~!

ndαsvεl m

An enormous stone pillar burst out from the ground and crashed heavily onto the Human Palaceʼs wall!
BBAAAAAANNNGG~!

The tall and sturdy Human Palaceʼs wall finally could not hold on anymore and crumbled apart under Tang Li Xueʼs assaults!

Yes, Tang Li Xueʼs Plan B was to use her [Water Mirage] as a distraction, and her real self secretly activated [Ethereal Form] plus [Art of Concealment] and swiftly charged toward the Human Palaceʼs wall as fast as she could with [Moonlight Flickering Flash Step].

Then after that, she would only need to take down this Human Palaceʼs wall as soon as possible before those human generals could stop her!

If anyone asked why Tang Li Xue had not done this since the very beginning, it was because she did not want to take risks if she was not forced by the previous hopeless situation.

If Tang Li Xueʼs Plan B was discovered by any of those humans, before she could take down the Human Palaceʼs wall, she would be completely trapped alone in the middle of the human generals and human troops!

But this time, Tang Li Xue has already calculated the timing very carefully.

After she took down the Human Palaceʼs wall, the other fox generals and all of the fox troops were already close enough to the Human Palace right now, and they could assist her in time before she could be besieged by all of the human generals and human troops!

ʼAll right, everything is still on the right track~!ʼ Tang Li Xue muttered in her heart as she took a glance in the direction of Human Palaceʼs building.

ʼI am counting on all of you, so do not let me down~!ʼ Tang Li Xue silently whispered.

There were less than 300,000 fox troops and 3 fox generals left including Tang Li Xue herself, and they had to face around 700,000 human troops and several fierce human generals.

The Human Palace was extremely huge and complex. It was filled with the guarding human troops scattered everywhere.

Moreover, they did not even have any clue about the exact location of the Human Race Flag.

That was why Tang Li Xue secretly sent out fifty special troops with the speed-type divine ability and equipped with her strategic-type talismans to search for the Human Race Flag hidden within the Human Palace!

Tang Li Xue took a deep breath to calm down, and then she glared vigilantly at the two approaching human generals.
