Just Came Into Wealth, Now Renting with Three Flight Attendants

136: He will definitely be a good father in the future.”Alright.” Zhang Yu smiled. ”Since you’re here, why not come up and sit for a while?”

”I wouldn’t dare. Who knows if things might turn into ’something else’ if I go up there,” Su Mei said.

”Eh?” Zhang Yu raised an eyebrow. ”You know me that well?”

He pondered. Su Mei was with Sha Sha. She didn’t have any connection to anyone else, did she?

”No.” Realizing she had let something slip, Su Mei lifted her chin. ”I’ll go up, I’m not afraid of you. If you dare to touch me, I’ll report you for assaulting an officer!”

”Alright, alright, alright, Officer Su, can we go up now?”

Zhang Yu got out of the car. The two returned to the house.

”This is your place? It’s quite big!”

Su Mei walked in, and seeing the scene before her, she was surprised. This was her first time inside. Although she had mentally prepared herself, the luxurious sight inside still amazed her. It lived up to the reputation of a top-tier luxury residence.

”Indeed,” Zhang Yu smiled. ”As long as it’s enough to live in.”

”Is this where your tenants stay?” Su Mei wandered around the first floor and walked over to the area with several rooms.

”Eh?” Zhang Yu was surprised again.

He didn’t think he had ever mentioned his home situation to Su Mei. If she hadn’t specifically investigated him, there was only one possibility: among the tenants, there must be someone she knew.

Zhang Yu thought about it in his mind. Out of the four of them, the only one who could have a connection with Su Mei was probably Lu Hanxiao. Lu Hanxiao was the daughter of Lu Zhenhua, and the Lu family of Jiangcheng was also very famous. Su Mei was the daughter of Director Su, a family of police officers for generations. In terms of status, they matched up. Plus, they were of similar age. The others didn’t have a high matching value in terms of age or family background.

More importantly, Zhang Yu discovered that Su Mei and Lu Hanxiao had another thing in common, something he had noticed before: they were both ”little sister protectors,” regardless of whether the sister was related by blood or not. Therefore, Zhang Yu was 99% certain.

”What are you ’eh-ing’ about?” Su Mei looked at Zhang Yu, feeling a bit nervous.

”Nothing.” He smiled. ”Do you know Lu Hanxiao? And are you close?”

”Damn, I’ve been found out?” Su Mei’s heart skipped a beat. She was a police officer, after all, and had received professional training. How did she let the cat out of the bag so quickly in front of Zhang Yu?

”Since you’ve known each other for a long time, why keep it from me?” Zhang Yu smiled.

”No, it’s just that we never had the chance to meet together,” Su Mei’s explanation sounded a bit pale.

At this moment, Zhang Yu stopped talking, as if he had thought of something.

”Zhang Yu?”

”Don’t interrupt, I’m thinking.” He raised his hand, signaling Su Mei not to speak. Then, the next second, he asked, ”Su Mei, the matter you mentioned last time, it wouldn’t happen to be about Lu Hanxiao, would it?”

”What matter?”

”You know, about the scumbag, the pregnancy...” Zhang Yu looked at Su Mei. ”Is it Lu Hanxiao?”

Su Mei inwardly lamented. They had agreed to keep it a secret, and she had been found out the moment she entered the house? She had just walked in, hadn’t even had a sip of water, and was already being interrogated like a criminal? She had never received such treatment before. She had truly made a mistake by walking through this door today. It was too late for regrets.

”If you don’t say anything, that’s a confirmation,” Zhang Yu said. ”Keeping such a big thing from me.” He was a little angry.

”Huh? I thought you would...”

”Thought I would what? Not want it?” Zhang Yu smiled. ”If it’s true, I definitely want it. It’s not like I can’t afford to raise it.”

”Once the baby is here, I’ll hire three nannies to take care of things: one for cooking, one for housework, and one for childcare. I’d be nothing but happy,” Zhang Yu said.

”I didn’t expect him to be such a responsible person!” Su Mei thought to herself, her opinion of him changing significantly. She had thought Zhang Yu was just a playboy in the love game, flirting and leaving his mark everywhere. But he really did want to have children.

”Oh, right.” Zhang Yu also realized that if Lu Hanxiao’s status changed, this house wouldn’t be big enough. ”When you have time, help me look for a large villa, one that’s well-decorated. It doesn’t need to be too big, five floors up and down is enough.”

Listen to that, is that even human talk? Not too big, but five floors? In the entire Jiangcheng, a villa meeting those conditions would be worth at least 100 million. Besides, he didn’t even know if one existed, because properties meeting those criteria were extremely rare.

”Forget it, you’re not a professional anyway. I’ll ask a real estate agent later,” Zhang Yu said. Then he remembered another question: ”When Lu Hanxiao told you about this, did she mention what she planned to do?”

”No. She doesn’t know what to do either...” Su Mei gave up struggling now. Since Zhang Yu had already guessed it, she might as well tell him everything she knew.

”Regardless of what happens, this flight cannot continue. It’s risky,” Zhang Yu made a quick decision.

Su Mei’s heart skipped a beat again. What, Zhang Yu, are you going to make the plane turn around mid-flight?

Under her gaze, she saw him take out his phone and make a call.

”Help me check, where is Lu Hanxiao’s flight currently?”

”Reporting, Mr. Zhang, the flight has already taken off from Ha City and is currently on its way to the Bear Country!”

”Notify this plane to turn back immediately and fly to Jiangcheng!”

”Huh?” The staff member on the phone was dumbfounded. Is he really being this willful and arrogant? There were quite a few passengers on the plane, and he’s just going to change their destination to Jiangcheng? Wouldn’t they be cursed to death by the passengers? Moreover, temporarily adjusting flight routes could cause delays or changes to other flights. Although Mr. Zhang was the Major Shareholder, he couldn’t possibly be unaware of that. But why would he do such a thing? The staff member didn’t dare to ask.

”Don’t ’huh’ me, just do it. All losses will be compensated by the Airline Company.” A hundred or so passengers, how much money could that be? Compared to his own flesh and blood, it was nothing.

”Understood, I will handle it immediately!”

After hanging up the phone, Zhang Yu saw Su Mei, her eyes wide open.

”Zhang Yu, you can actually divert a flight?”

Once a plane is in the sky, unless there is a special reason, it must complete its flight. Changing the route mid-flight affects everything. Abnormal flight information might even be locked and recorded by the Air Force. Zhang Yu was making such a big scene. The plane had no malfunctions, and the weather was fine. He just wanted Lu Hanxiao and the others on the plane to fly back to Jiangcheng immediately? How could he be so willful!

However, when Su Mei realized that he was doing this for her best friend, Lu Hanxiao, she couldn’t help but acknowledge his actions. She didn’t know about anything else, but in the future, he would definitely be a good dad!
