Just Came Into Wealth, Now Renting with Three Flight Attendants

121: A 2,000-square-meter private office space high in the cloud!Zhang Yu drove his car to check on the Jiangcheng Development Bank currently under preparation.

According to the work progress reported by Secretary Yang on wechat.

The location for the bank’s headquarters building had already been selected.

It was an A-grade office building that had been poorly managed.

The owner was eager to cash out, so they sold it to him at a price that was impossible to refuse.

After some simple renovations and repairs, followed by a thorough cleaning and disinfection.

It would be ready for use.

It could be said to be both affordable and cost-effective.

Zhang Yu drove the car to the front of the building and parked.

Looking up, the exterior of this office building was still quite new, and the location was also excellent.

It was just that the owner’s capital chain had broken, leading to a fire sale.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have been able to pick up such a bargain.

Moreover, this building was located in the Binjiang Riverside Area of another administrative district.

If starting from Binjiang Mansion, the journey to the building was less than 10 kilometers.

It would take just over ten minutes to arrive.

”Mr. Zhang.”

At this moment, someone walked out of the building.

It was Secretary Yang.

Knowing that Mr. Zhang was coming, she had been waiting here for a long time.

As soon as she saw the car Zhang Yu was driving, she quickly came over to greet him.

Her straight hair, draped over her shoulders, fluttered as she jogged over.

”How is the work progressing?”

Zhang Yu asked with a smile.

”Everything is going very smoothly; the procedures and processes are advancing in an orderly manner. During the building’s renovation, we reserved an entire floor for your office and reception area,” Secretary Yang reported.

”An entire floor?”

Zhang Yu raised an eyebrow.

At Airlines and Mi Corporation, he hadn’t set up fixed offices for himself. After all, he was the Major Shareholder behind the scenes.

This time, Secretary Yang was quite thoughtful.

She had arranged an entire office floor just for him?

However, the building had plenty of floors, so he could afford to be extravagant.

Zhang Yu’s interest was immediately piqued.

”Let’s go, take me to see it.”

”Then, Mr. Zhang, please this way!”

Secretary Yang gestured with her hand and said respectfully.

They walked into the building.

There were many people inside, busy at work.

Some were changing the plaque at the entrance, some were discarding outdated office supplies, and others were doing repairs and renovations.

”Mr. Zhang,” she introduced, ”there is an elevator here exclusively for your use. It can be opened by scanning your fingerprint. The other elevators have been configured so they cannot reach your floor. Your elevator, however, can go to any floor.”

”That’s quite good.”

In an office building with so many people, it would be very inappropriate to squeeze into an elevator with others.

Whether he visited frequently or not wasn’t important; what mattered was having this setup.

”Also, Mr. Zhang,” Secretary Yang smiled a bit sheepishly, ”to facilitate the preliminary work, I also registered my own fingerprint. I didn’t inform you in advance.”

”It’s fine, that’s acceptable.”

Zhang Yu said with a smile.

Secretary Yang was a bit surprised; she had thought Mr. Zhang would scold her, but she hadn’t expected him to be so easygoing.

”However, after the bank officially opens, do not register anyone else’s fingerprint without my permission. Just follow my arrangements.”

”Understood, Mr. Zhang.”

Secretary Yang nodded in agreement.

Then.

The two of them took the exclusive elevator and arrived at the 28th floor.

The entire office building had 30 floors.

After stepping out of the elevator and seeing the scene before them.

Although Zhang Yu had been mentally prepared, he was still stunned.

It was huge, simply too huge.

”Mr. Zhang, the area of this floor is a total of 2,000 square meters.”

Secretary Yang introduced.

”It is not yet fully completed, but according to the design plans, it mainly consists of an office area, a reception area, a lounge area, a sports and entertainment area, and a dining area.”

”We are preparing to make some adjustments to the blueprints, and I was wondering if you have any requirements, Mr. Zhang?”

”The facilities are so comprehensive?”

Listening to Secretary Yang’s introduction, Zhang Yu smiled, ”There isn’t anything special to add. However, let’s add a safe room.”

”A safe room?”

”That’s right. It’s a place to hide in case of a fire or any other disaster, and it must have the function of contacting the outside world. It can also be used to store important documents and similar items.”

Zhang Yu said.

People are like this.

When one’s status is high enough, one no longer thinks only about how to enjoy life or how to make money.

Instead, one begins to prioritize safety.

”Very well, Mr. Zhang, I will arrange it immediately. I will use the best materials to build a safe room. How large would you like it to be?”

”100 square meters is enough. Keep it stocked with basic food and some emergency supplies.”

Zhang Yu said.

”Understood, I will execute this immediately.”

Secretary Yang used paper and pen to note down what Zhang Yu said.

”It’s quite quiet today; is no one working on the renovations?”

Zhang Yu walked around the 2,000-square-meter single-floor space. His voice echoed.

”Mr. Zhang, because you were coming today, I cleared out all the workers. I told them to return to work tomorrow.”

Secretary Yang reported.

”That’s good.”

Zhang Yu nodded and then walked to the window.

Outside the huge floor-to-ceiling windows was the river view.

Looking down from this angle, the view was even more breathtaking than at Binjiang Mansion.

Moreover, the entire viewing balcony was over 30 meters long.

One could even go for a run on the balcony.

He looked at the river view, with the bridge also beneath his feet.

Then, he turned around and found Secretary Yang staring at him.

Secretary Yang hadn’t expected Zhang Yu to turn around suddenly.

For a moment, she was at a loss, and her head quickly lowered.

If there had been a hole in the ground, she would have wanted to crawl into it.

”Secretary Yang, how many years have you been working?”

”Answering you, Mr. Zhang, it has been 5 years.”

”Are you not dating anyone?” Zhang Yu asked.

”My studies and work have been too busy, so I haven’t been dating,” Secretary Yang answered truthfully, though she didn’t know why Mr. Zhang was suddenly asking this.

”I see.”

Zhang Yu looked at Secretary Yang.

Today, she was wearing a white shirt underneath a black trench coat.

On her lower body was a black professional skirt.

Her hair was pinned up into a bun. She looked like a professional office lady.

”Why didn’t I notice before that you are actually quite pretty?”

”Huh?”

Secretary Yang was stunned; was Mr. Zhang complimenting her?

For a moment, she felt flattered.

”Come here.”

Zhang Yu beckoned to her, ”What do you think of this river view?”

”It’s beautiful. Mr. Zhang, it is truly perfect for you to work in such a place.”

Secretary Yang said.

Feeling Zhang Yu’s summons.

”Just look at the river view.”

Zhang Yu said.

Beautiful scenery always makes one feel an overwhelming urge to recite poetry.

Zhang Yu was naturally no exception.

Moreover, this entire floor was his exclusive area.

No one would disturb his elegant interest in reciting poetry.

Secretary Yang understood Mr. Zhang’s intention and cooperated fully.

Serving as the background for his poetry recitation.

When they saw the sun about to set on the west bank across the river.

Zhang Yu also stopped reciting poetry.

”Alright, you go and tidy up.”

Zhang Yu instructed.
