I AM the Football Star

Florence, like last year’s Rome, fell short at the last moment.

There’s no denying that squad depth is, to some extent, the reason for this situation.

This depth doesn’t mean they’re lacking enough high-level substitutes.

Rather, they lack sufficiently strong key substitute players.

For instance... both Florence and Rome can’t find anyone to replace Carrel and Perrotta, they can’t even find substitutes with eighty percent of their abilities.

Moreover, these two are veterans.

They can’t possibly maintain top form throughout the season.

In third place on the standings is Atlanta, trailing Florence by four points.

This means they are destined to miss out on the top two spots in the league.

Juventus is already holding the league championship trophy with one hand, just needing to get the other hand over.

Florence, theoretically, still has a chance to fight for the championship.

If Juventus loses in the final round and Florence wins, they can make a comeback.

But as long as Juventus doesn’t lose, even if Florence wins, at most they will be tied with Juventus in points, and Juventus has a better goal difference than Florence.

Seven percent!

This is the probability everyone has given Florence to win the championship this season.

Because Juventus’s opponent in the final round is none other than San Remo, whom they have just defeated.

Juventus already has a great chance of winning, not to mention that San Remo will also face the pressure of the Champions League final at that time, likely to hold back or even rotate players against Juventus.

Florence’s opponent in the final round is Rome, currently fourth in the standings.

Rome is inherently strong, much harder to tackle than San Remo.

Moreover, Rome’s fourth place is not secure.

If they lose, they could be overtaken by Naples from behind, squeezing them out of the Champions League zone.

Therefore, Rome will certainly fight tooth and nail in this battle.

The situation is hugely unfavorable for Florence.

Naples, in fifth place, trails Rome by three points but has an advantage in head-to-head results. If they win and Rome loses, they can surpass Rome!

Their opponent in the final round is also tough, the third-ranked Atlanta.

But Atlanta is four points ahead of Rome; even if they lose, they’ll still be third in the league, without any desires or demands.

Not to mention selling points, but Atlanta may not field their full main team, at least their fighting spirit may not match that of Naples.

Because even though Naples is currently fifth in the standings, sixth-placed AC Milan is just two points behind Naples, and seventh-placed Lazio is three points behind Naples. If Naples loses and they win, they can all surpass Naples.

Then Naples would slip from fifth to seventh, losing their European Competition qualification.

This would be quite damaging for a strong team like Naples.

Moreover, they nearly reached the final in the UEFA Europa League this year, so their frustration is boiling.

Lastly, eighth-ranked San Remo has the same points as Udinese but has a head-to-head advantage, putting them ahead of Udinese. Both are just one point behind Lazio, and behind them, Inter Milan is one point behind both San Remo and Udinese.

Overall, the top two in the league are subject to change.

The third place is stable.

The fourth and fifth places are subject to change, while fifth and sixth, seventh places are also variable.

There could also be changes from fifth down to tenth place teams.

As for the next ten teams, there has been the most intense relegation battle in recent years!

Up to eight teams are theoretically at risk of relegation.

Just ask if it’s thrilling!

Of course, since it’s not closely related to San Remo, we won’t analyze the specific relegation situation.

But this has been tough on football experts and commentators this year.

This year’s Serie A is truly a very difficult math problem, with too many equivalent substitutions.

Everyone picked up their pens and started calculating furiously.

If Inter Milan’s points are zero, then what should the points of the nine teams in front be?
