I AM the Football Star

European girls, seventeen years old... whether it’s appearance or figure, they’ve reached a consumable level, indistinguishable from regular women.

Even many Eastern girls aged twenty-three to twenty-five aren’t as sexy and alluring as European seventeen-year-olds.

So the necessary distance should still be maintained.

Otherwise...

But Emma, like not understanding the comprehension part of a language exam, laughed and said: ”My brother isn’t as nice as you, last time I asked him to help me get an autograph, and he actually refused!”

Morici was speechless: ”Please, my dear aunt! How many did you ask me to sign? A hundred pieces! You think I’m a printing machine!”

Emma shrugged: ”Who let Brother Lu Yang’s jersey be worth twenty of yours... If you pushed a bit harder, you could sign fewer pieces!”

Morici spat blood on the spot, defeated!

After dinner, Emma suggested playing some football.

Originally, Morici was planning to go home and start the next generation with Tia, but he got excited immediately.

The one invitation he and Lu Yang can never refuse is to play football.

So the three of them started playing football on the small field next to the villa.

Emma could barely juggle the ball a few times but was having a lot of fun.

As the sky darkened, Tia kept coughing from the side.

The meaning was clear... Morici, it’s time to fulfill your duties.

After pretending to ignore a few times, Momo couldn’t help but say: ”Hey, Emma, let’s go, let’s head home. It’s getting late, we’re good.”

Emma, however, turned a deaf ear, tried dribbling the ball and said: ”I’m not done yet, why don’t you go home first, I’ll play a bit longer with Brother Lu Yang!”

Tia frowned slightly, as if she sensed something.

She glanced at Emma.

Emma looked at Tia with pleading eyes.

Tia then reluctantly spoke: ”Darling, let’s go home first, I’m tired!”

Morici had no choice but to follow Tia home, a bit reluctant to leave the field.

After getting home, Morici still felt something was off: ”I feel like Emma never liked football this much before, why is she so interested today? Could it be...”

Tia nodded: ”Seems like you’ve also noticed it. You need to think about this carefully. Otherwise, when the time comes...”

Morici turned on the room light while saying: ”You know the celebrity effect too?”

Tia was stunned: ”What celebrity effect?”

Morici said: ”It’s the influence a celebrity has on this industry, possibly even more than the sum of people in the industry! Emma never really liked football before, she never used to watch when I played as a kid.”

”But now, as I have become successful, making a name in the football world, even becoming a football idol and national hero in Croatia! So Emma’s interest in football is growing.”

”Children like Emma will increase in Croatia, maybe in ten or twenty years, Croatia will become a football superpower, advance to the World Cup group stage, knockout stage, top four, maybe even finals!”

Tia was speechless.

Indeed, Morici’s mind is only filled with football.

”Can you truly care about your sister?” Tia said, ”She doesn’t like football crap, she likes Lu! It’s Lu! Do you understand?”

Morici waved his hand: ”Ha, who doesn’t like Lu, I like Lu, everyone at San Remo likes Lu, everyone likes... wait, you mean... Emma likes Lu?”

Tia nodded.

”Whoa! Lu thief, you’re stealing from my house!” Morici clutched his chest in pain and rushed to run out.

But Tia pulled Morici back: ”What are you going out for now?”

Morici said: ”Save Emma, kill Land Dog!”

Tia dragged Morici back into the house and embraced him: ”You’re stupid! It’s Emma who likes Lu Yang, not Lu Yang who likes Emma! If you go now, Emma will kill you!”

Morici wanted to say something more, but Tia shut up his mouth and dragged him onto the bed.

Morici said hopelessly: ”Weren’t you tired?”

Tia: ”Tired outside, not tired in bed!”

Morici cried silently.

He’s exactly the opposite!

...

On the beach villa.

When Lu Yang and Emma finished playing, it was already past nine o’clock.

The sky was pitch black.

The law and order in Europe and America... anyone who watches football knows.

It’s nothing new for football stars’ mansions to be burglarized.

Some stars even hired retired special forces or security companies to ensure their family’s safety.

Emma said she was scared to go back, so naturally, Lu Yang let Emma stay over.

After all, Emma occasionally stays over, which is very normal.

After playing football, sweating a lot, taking a shower is normal, right?

When Emma proposed this, Lu Yang instinctively sensed danger.

There might be a scheme!

Sure enough, after Emma started showering, she suddenly called Lu Yang’s name.

”Brother Lu Yang, seems like there’s no body wash left, can I use yours?” Emma slightly opened the bathroom door and peeked out her head.

But maybe because ”accidentally.”

Anyway, Emma’s snow-white front was mostly revealed.

Depthless.

Lu Yang’s face stiffened, something was definitely going to happen.

Thankfully...

”I just replaced it with a new bottle for you earlier, right?” Lu Yang asked.

Emma smiled slightly, thinking no wonder she poured it down the toilet just now, because it was new!

”I accidentally knocked it over, by the time I noticed, it was all spilled.” Emma said.

”Oh, it’s okay, there are new bottles underneath the dressing cabinet inside, all kinds of scents, use whatever you like.” Lu Yang said while helping Emma close the bathroom door.
